History

Established in 2012.

After years of research, study, trial and error, experimentation and passion, Blake Shanley decided to create a warm and cozy, green and mossy, good juju space to share tools and foods, books and oils, powders and tinctures, teas and tonics, inspiration, an ear and a few laughs, with anyone who might walk in the door.

Tiny Taiga is a choose-your-own-adventure environment designed and intended to help as many people as possible be healthier and happier so they can go out and help as many people as possible be healthier and happier so they can go out and help as many people as possible be healthier and happier…

Meet the Business Owner

Blake S.

Business Owner

Always on a journey and a path of research, through nutrition, physical and mental health, holistic and «alternative» medicine and healing approaches, spiritual concepts and practices, and any and all in between, my intention since I was 18 years old has always been toward the realm of helping to heal, and the many modalities available to empower.

After establishing a home base in East Austin and a true sense of place through years of doing real estate in the area, I decided to gleefully open a tiny shoppe of select superfoods, teas, herbs, books, essential oils, natural body care, and anything else that can aid in the total mind-body-heart-spirit health and wellness of each person that may walk through the door. With a uniquely personal blend of touches to allow everyone their own experience and journey with the store, I am sharing in your journey with you, as much or as little as you would like me to. Choose your own adventure, but ask for any amount of help you might need.
