Tim Hald, CPA was established as a Texas CPA firm to provide accounting, tax, and business advisor services to corporations, small businesses and individuals throughout Central Texas and the United States.

I have provided accounting, business advisory and tax services to business entities and individuals for over thirty years. During that time, I have provided high quality, personalized service to a wide variety of clients, ranging from individuals to small and large-​size companies in a variety of diverse, complex industries. My background in both public and private accounting gives me a unique perspective into the financial, tax and business needs of your company.

Timothy was great. I went in for a meet and greet and we ended up completing my taxes on the spot. It was painless and Timothy is great to talk to.

I’ve never used another CPA, but his prices are reasonable considering I’ve heard stories of folks spending $ 400+ at an HR Block… not to bash chains, they serve a purpose too.

Look, y’all, I used to be all down with TurboTax and such but then I got self employed, so when it’s tax time, it’s like «Here’s 100 pages of invoices, grubby receipts I dug out of my pocket from when I was at a show, a bunch of notes I scribbled down that look to be Sanskrit or a lost Egyptian dialect of some kind, and a bunch of spreadsheets in 9 point font.» I’m grateful Tim lets ME be a client, that’s what I’m saying, because I know if someone walked into my office and dropped that pile of paper down, I’d tell them to get out.
He pays for himself in deductions he finds, makes the process as painless as possible, and answers small (and stupid) questions for me with grace and ease. Definitely beats doing it yourself.

I didn’t hate taxes this year. This was about 30 minutes of painless conversation and somehow our taxes were finished by the end of it. He makes this a very simple process and managed to get us a HUGE tax refund. His fee more than pays for itself.

He was easy to work with, gave me a list of things to bring him instead of the usual «Can you fax me this document that I just *assumed* you would know to bring and we can drag this out as long as possible».
Tim originally gave me a timeline of one week but he e-​mailed me the next day to let me know all of my tax work was done. I arrived to sign on the dotted line and we were done! Painless!
I will be back to Tim and I *highly* recommend him. I’ve been to 3 different CPAs in New England and have always left with my tail between my legs for not understanding exactly what I should have done with my taxes. Plus his prices are unbeatable. I had received three different quotes from three other CPAs triple and double what Tim quoted me.
Tim was patient, caring, and *informative!* Plus he has cute gifts for his clients… a box full of STICKY NOTES! My boyfriend is sad Tim helped to feed that addiction but happy he didn’t have to deal with my questions either. ;-)

AWESOME!
From the moment you walk in the door you are treated like family as well as professionally. Tim works with you and answers any questions you may have in a very clear, warm, intelligent and respectful manner. He gets the paperwork done very fast and will keep in contact with you about any issues that may come up. The turnaround time is the fastest ive ever experienced and everything is very organized and professional. I came in from out of state and even with all the added forms, the overall total was a very fair and affordable. I highly recommend anyone to use Tim’s services for anything tax related. We will definitely be going back next year as well! Tim Rocks!
