I purchased World Series tickets, that I later found were overbooked, the seats that I got were 10 rows behind what I wanted. Not what I wanted and thought I was paying for, but TicketCity kept me close to my original desired location and refunded me the service fees for the tickets. Not as smooth as StubHub, but the prices were lower and they rectified their error. I appreciate the customer service.
Good:
–Customer service were available by phone
–Different representatives were able to pick up where the last rep left off with my issue.
–For inconveniencing myself, TicketCity refunded the service fee for each ticket purchased.
–While the seat location I initially purchased was overbooked and not available, TicketCity kept me in the same section.
–I found the ticket prices to be lower on this site than other secondary ticket sites
–They did their best to correct their ticket overbooking error
Bad:
–After purchasing my tickets, I was contacted by TicketCity about my seats being overbooked and not available
–If not for the overbooked ticket seat/​section, the process would have been identical, as smooth as and cheaper than StubHub

I have a mixed review about this website.
I had purchased tickets for a bluejays game recently. Then I read the reviews and panicked as i realized if they did not have the tickets, i would be paying them around +$ 400 for a credit to their website.
I called them, as i did not receive a confirmation email and was very worried after half an hour had passed. they told me that the bad news was, i did not receive the confirmation as those tickets were not available. however because i was on the phone, they were able to offer me better seats (not THAT much better, maybe two rows down from the original seats) for the same price.
pro: i got better seats, and truly appreciate that. getting into the game went smoothly.
con: if i hadnt called in, this wouldnt have happened. and spending +400 on a website for a credit is unacceptable. they should offer a refund, especially if the purchase was for a specified seat.
HUGE CON: the price for the tickets were listed on the print out. I paid +400, for two $ 50 seats.
honestly, save your money. if they dont guarantee the seat you want, or give you a refund, for the ridiculous amount you pay, its will be such a waste.

I used Ticket City’s website to purchase tix for next year’s Duke vs. unc game in Durham. I spoke with Ryan and voiced my concerns to him. He reassured me that the tix I buy will be legit. He even offered to ship my tix to our hotel if they hadn’t shipped until it was too late.

Terrible experience with TicketCity, will never go through with them for tickets again. I purchased Los Angeles Clipper tickets for the opening night game tonight (October 29) over a month (September 21^st) in advance. My debit card was charged and I was certain that I would have a pleasant and memorable time with my friend for their birthday celebration. However, this all turned into a nightmare when I show up on the day of the game with my friend and learn that these tickets aren’t even AVAILABLE! I was forced to purchase a set of tickets through will call and was completely embarrassed in front of many people. TicketCity never had the decency or respect to notify me that these tickets were not going to be available and never thought of refunding me for my purchase. Complete and utter lack of standards and ethics to operate a business. I have purchased tickets from TicketCity many times before, but this is clearly the last time. All of the recommendations that I made to friends and family to purchase through the site are going to be told of my experience that I had tonight and will be urged to STAY AWAY!

I am an old guy (63) and always concern about doing business on the internet or by phone. However, in this case, I talked to an individual name Carter by phone. He was very friendly, patience, and very professional. I purchased $ 7,000.00 in Dallas Cowboy tickets. I felt very comfortable during the whole transaction. I received my tickets on schedule and ready for the game.

TicketCity is my «go to» broker for tickets. I’ve used them for concerts, bowl games, pro football games and the Kentucky Derby. You name it and they will have an expert on staff to assist with whatever venue I am looking for. We had a «bucket list» to go the the Derby and they hooked me right up — 6 tickets to both the Oaks and Derby plus parking. It was an amazing experience, thanks to TicketCity. Honestly, I don’t even look anywhere else because of the service they provide. Thanks so much to the entire staff!

and it was a great experience! Prices were similar to other sites but the services fees were HALF! And they offer free shipping on all orders. I was worried because 5 hours after i placed my order it was still pending and my event was in 4 days. I called and the rep Ian Shogren was so helpful. I spoke to him 3 times via phone and one email and he made sure to contact the seller and that my tickets went out in priority overnight so i would them 2 days early. He even contacted fedex after they had shipped to add notes. One of the most helpful customer services i have ever encountered. I also received $ 10 off just for signing up for their emails! I will certainly be using them in the future for my ticket purchases.

Big mistake on my part using this company. I bought tickets a few months back and now the same seats are much much less. Their explanation is pricing fluctuates. Since when is this wall street? I called to see if I can get a minor adjustment since I got ripped off. They said no. Scorebig or the game time app much better experience. Sorry, not sorry!

I never, never, never, NEVER write reviews. I mean, why take 20 minutes out of the finite time we have in our lives just to provide a 500 word «pat on the back» online to congratulate a business on providing exceptional customer service. I mean, isn’t that their job anyway?
BUT I am making an exception for Ticket City because it was one of the most simple, pleasant and quality transactions I have experienced. Let me start at the beginning…
My friends and I have have a tradition of going to the Austin City Limits festival every year from Houston. This year, I decided last minute that maybe spending 72 straight hours dehydrated in the Austin heat listening to mediocre indie music would be better spent not doing that. Or at least, cutting back on the 72 hours part. I guess this is part of growing up. I wanted to switch out my 3 day pass to a one day pass. The only problem was that I decided to do this on Thursday night. The show started on Friday. Typical me. The first part was okay. I sold my three day pass using [UNNAMED NATIONAL TICKET BROKER] relatively simple and planned on buying a one day pass after that.
HOWEVER, due to an impromptu Thursday night happy hour, I delayed buying my one-​day pass from [UNNAMED NATIONAL TICKET BROKER]. By the time I was three IPAs in and headed to bed at midnight, I remembered that having a Friday day pass before going on Friday would probably be a good idea. By the time I got back on the [UNNAMED NATIONAL TICKET BROKER] website around 11pm on Thursday night, the one-​day passes had jumped from about $ 97 to well over $ 220. F. Me.
So I did what any rational Millennial would do when confronted with a challenge… Google. I browsed through a few shady links and even shadier Craiglists posts before stumbling upon
, which I had never heard of before. I was skeptical, but it was clearly a professionally done website and seemed to be reliable. Having been burned too many times in the past, I went to the other option Millennials use as a resource… Wikipedia. Ticketcity had a Wikipedia page so I went with my gut and made the purchase — $ 91 for a Friday ACL pass before service fees, which was competitive compared to the other sites, which were probably scams anyway (BTW, anyone bitching about high services fees on other reviews can stop, seriously dudes). It was simple to purchase, paid with my credit card and hoped for the best.
The only issue that I spotted is that the confirmation page clearly stated that the pass would be delivered to my address on the «DAY OF THE EVENT.» Keep in mind that it’s late Thursday night and I am planning on leaving early Friday morning. That could be a problem. Since it was getting close to midnight, I decided «screw it» went to bed and called them in the morning. This is where it gets better…
I dialed the number in the morning… rang twice and holy $*!&%, an actual PERSON picked up. No «please press 1 to talk to a representative» bullcrap. An actual person picked up. Well done, +1 star. I explained my concerns about the pass being delivered to my address that day when I wasn’t going to be at my house that day. He informed me the pass would be waiting for me when I got into Austin that day and provided the address. The total time that I was on the phone was less than two minutes… I can dig this. Just for good measure, I also got a voicemail from their office about an hour later, to say the same thing. +1 additional star.
Fast-​forward three hours later, and I’m now in Austin, outside their office. I walk in expecting a line or a check-​in or something that would delay me. Instead, I walk in to see a front desk with several employees that in their work spaces on the phone. One of them immediately gets up from her desk, asks me my name, takes my ID and hands me over the pass. I also got a free pen. Hey, I like pens. The total time I was in the office was less than two minutes. I was able to make over to ACL it in time to see Run the Jewels. + 1 additional star again.
That’s pretty damn good and I hope I get the chance to use Ticketcity again the next time I decide to be a typical, irresponsible young adult and try to do anything big like buy a day pass to a sold-​out music festival last minute. I’m 97% sure it won’t be the last time. They’ve earned my trust and future business. Well done. + ALL THE ADDITIONAL STARS.

I recently got tickets to the Madonna concert in Edmonton. Most of the other ticket sites were either sold out or had outrageous ticket fees.
I carefully selected TicketCity based on reviews and its BBB rating, although the bad reviews did make me nervous. Even my friend who came with me to the concert was worried. So after reading the reviews and the BBB site, I sent an email to TicketCity customer service just to confirm that the tickets I purchased were indeed mine. Customer Service reassured me so I went with that.
Our seats were awesome (beside the stage) and no complaints. There were no problems! THANK YOU TicketCity and I would definitely use them again!

Good selection of seats, but over-​the-​top service fees. I realize this is a business trying to turn a profit, but high fees can also discourage sales. I’ve paid the fees on events I really wanted to see, but if I feel like I’m being gouged I’ll take my business elsewhere. Just something to consider.

HORRIBLE!!! TicketCity, I am so disappointed in your lack of customer service. After reading mixed reviews online about TicketCity, I decided to call the customer service line before buying tickets to a sports game. While I was speaking, the agent cut me off/​talked over me multiple times, had a negative attitude, and to top it off, he hung up the phone before I finished speaking. I can’t believe I was treated this way! I gladly spent my money at another ticket company that was so incredibly helpful and kind. NEVER WILL I CONSIDER TICKETCITY EVER AGAIN!!!

A great customer service story when presented with an issue. Ryan was so helpful on my order. So many strange things happened during this order. Instead of taking minutes, it took several hours and a little bit of patience. The purpose isn’t to rehash any of it, because some times things just don’t go like everyone, including the business expects. When I called in to customer service Ryan took control, took the information, researched it and did an awesome job of resolving everything. I give Ryan/​customer service 5 stars! If all the cogs fall into place like they should next time, I imagine it will be a 5 star experience from start to finish!

I bought and paid for tickets through this vendor for a broadway show. At the time of the show, I arrived at the theater only to be told by the theater company that they have no record of my name in their system. When I called ticket city, they kept me on the phone for 20 minutes between them and their «reseller» at which point nobody gave me a clear answer as to what happened with my tickets or the money that I spent on them. I was assured a refund and was not given one. Emails have been unanswered and phone calls have led to promises of being called back to no avail. I was charged a significant amount of money for something that did not exist. The worst part was being told on site by the theater company on the day of the show that these are third party vendors that the theater does not do business with and that I need to step out of the line. It was an embarrassing and humiliating experience. I can obviously afford to attend events and being asked to leave the line after spending my money on a product was offensive, as well as the fact that my money has yet to be refunded. Do not do business with these guys — go right to the source or find another event to attend.

I just wanted to comment to those of you that read my review then read the reply from Ticket City.
They have in fact called me a number of times expressing concern and saying they want to make everyone happy. That shouldn’t go unnoticed.
However, their offer was not to refund the $ 167 they took from me. It was to give me a pair of Rangers tickets for the night that I spoke to them or the next night. Clearly these were tickets that were otherwise going to remain unsold, and were destined for the garbage. I didn’t accept them but I’m guessing they were not exactly box seats.
Anyway, my point is, if they truly wanted to ‘bend over backward’ to make things right, they would simply give me back the money they took from me, as a reputable business would.

STOOOPPPP!!! DON’T BUY TICKETS FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased my tickets last night for the dodger vs giants game at AT&T Park for tonight’s game, i was so excited because i had scored some awesome seats for a low amount money. I woke up this morning, only to find out that my awesome ticket order was rejected last night. Apparently someone beat me to the punch and bought the tickets first. they should have some sort of pop up saying these tickets already have been sold before my payment goes through kind of like Stub Hub!!! Any who my account was charged for the tickets anyways, which is Stupid! why would you charge me for tickets that have already been sold??? I will never order anything off this company again! first time trying ticketcity and last! stub hub is the way to go. The pending amount for the tickets wont be available for a couple of days. Horrible Business! i should have looked on Unilocal before buying my ticket from ticket city!

Part 1
This is my first Super Bowl Experience and obviously finding tickets were a premium and stressful to find the right seat at the right price while prices were climbing. I purchase almost all my secondary market tickets from Stubhub and try to avoid Ticketmaster as much as possible. Hidden service fees are the biggest annoyance in trying to buy tickets but I was happy with my price at Ticket City to Find a Zoned Lower corner Seat for under $ 3500. However I really was stressed that I could not pickup tickets until the day of the game and I did not know where the seats were but, I trusted TicketCity and found it semi convenient that I would pickup the tickets on gameday near the stadium. So, Saturday the day before the Super Bowl I get a call saying I need to pick up the ticket in Scottsdale that day and that the original gameday pickup location is not happening. This is semi upsetting because I didn’t have a car and already was in downtown PHX and had plans most of the day with friends. So, I had to UBER to Scottsdale and pickup the ticket. Ryan was pleasant to deal with but, it sucked having to spend $ 40 on Über rides to go pickup the ticket and then go back to PHX. But the actual issue when I looked up the seating chart on the ride back is that my seat was not a lower corner that I paid for but an Endzone seat which I could of got much cheaper during the time of purchase. I fully know that tickets were hard to get for the game and I can’t return the ticket because I would not have a backup option. So, that really sucked. In the End did I get a ticket and got into the game, YES! Fully knowing that people that used other companies got nothing. Was it the seat I was hoping for when I purchased? NO! Did I like the way the ticket pickup was handled? Not at all
Part 2
I wrote the initial section before I went to bed the other night and also wrote that review for his company website feedback I received. So, when I wake up the next day I have 2 missed calls, a text and an email from the CEO of TicketCity Randy Cohen. I initially thought it could not be real and had to Google his name to see if it was a scam or something. So, while I am still trying to wake up that morning I call him back since it seemed really strange to get those messages. Well 1. This dude has a ton of energy and I thought I was talking to a recording for a second because the guy talked non stop for 5 minutes after he answered. 2. He was genuinely interested in resolving my situation and making sure I was happy with my experience.
I totally understand the situation TicketCity faced with the Super Bowl because I met at least 20 fans that bought tickets from unknown ticket dealers and didn’t get into the game. So, I understood the problems his company faced with the ticket scarcity and not being able to get the zoned ticket I ordered in the exact spot.
1. He immediately refunded me my $ 40 Über rides without even asking for the receipts.
2. He said he was going to give me some type of credit or gift card to address the seat issues but, really to give his company a second chance.
3. He wanted to do something special for me since he knows that I do a lot of solo adventure seeking and that I was planning to go to Austin sometime this year or next. He offered if I happened to be in Austin, stay with him if I chose, hang out, get some BBQ or see a ballgame if I wanted. Which really was quite amazing to hear this personal touch in trying to make a customer happy.
I worked for Nordstrom for 5 years and I always felt that was the last company that still truly cared about customer service and going above and beyond. (just Google the Nordstrom Urban Legend Alaskan tire story)
So of course I am going to take him up on the offer. At no time did he ask me to change my 3 star rating of TicketCity to 5 stars he was only focused on making sure he could make up my bad experience and I truly appreciated it.

Shortly after learning of our negative experience we received a call from a CS Manager Sean who was alerted of our cancellation fiasco. To my surprise Ticket City made the situation right by producing tickets near the section of our original purchase.

Very professional, when there was a conflict with my ticket — they contacted me and made it right. Also, paid for Fed Ex to me my tickets before the game. Thanks Bryan for all your help. I will definitely use Ticket City in the future. Thanks!

Wow… what a horrible business model! They post tickets and… pull money from your credit card/​bank account BUT. the tickets might NOT actually be available. I have purchased many tickets online as well as through storefront brokers… I have NEVER EVER come across this type of business practice. We will offer AND charge you for a product, but… it may or may not actually be available. I WILL never use this company again… stubhub is the way to go! (You might pay a few more dollars but at least you know for certain, the tickets you purchase are actually available!!)
I «purchased» (because they have already pulled the $$ from my bank account) tickets 40 minutes ago and am still waiting for the tickets to be delivered electronically. When I called customer service, the rep just said, we have to verify with the seller that these tickets are still available. WHAT!!! Seriously… what business does that!!!
Just beware that what you purchase might not actually be yours! The brokers I have dealt wtih have always had tickets in hand before they’ve ever charged me.
TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE/​MODEL! (And honestly, why give this company a high rating just because the seats are great… the company has NOTHING to do with how great the seats are… this company should be rated based on their customer service and business practices. both of which are horrible!)
