The Tutoring Center specializes in personalized one-​to-​one instruction in reading, math, and writing to rapidly increase academic skills and increase concentration span and focus. We also offer a Kindergarten Readiness Program, Enrichment Programs, and a Study Skills Program. All programs begin with a FREE Diagnostic Assessment with test results that parents keep and NO contracts.

The Tutoring Center has proven extremely effective in helping thousands of students reach their full academic potential. Now with more than 70 locations across the country and in Mexico and Dubai, The Tutoring Center has been successful by combining innovative teaching techniques, such as the Rotational Approach to Learning, with a fun, inviting environment. Using this approach, students rotate through three different stations during their session. This unique system prevents boredom, improves concentration, and allows the students to really focus on the materials. Our student success rate is over 95%!

History

Established in 1994.

In 1994 Dr. Thalheimer, Ph.D., Founder and President developed the «Rotational Approach to Learning» combined with a system of «One-​to-​One Instruction» and proved this approach to learning can truly help children develop skills that will last a lifetime whether the need is enrichment and/​or remediation.

None of our competitors in the after-​school learning industry can offer a mission as comprehensive as The Tutoring Center, and none of them can deliver the results that we can. From the first time you enter one of our Centers you will see the difference. Simply put, we will give your child the same help and intervention we’ve given thousands of other successful children since 1994 when we opened up our first center in Ventura County, California. The Tutoring Center in Austin, Texas opened in 2013.

I am the Center Director for The Tutoring Center, Austin TX serving families in the AISD, RRISD, and LISD.

When our family experienced the need for tutoring, we looked for the best service in the market. Through our research, we discovered The Tutoring Center. The Tutoring Center has a clear four-​part mission for every child who studies with them: students would developing stronger academic skills in Reading, Writing, and Math; develop better concentration, focus, and attention span; gain more confidence and motivation; and develop stronger Test-​Taking and Study Skills. Plus, we looked at other franchises and The Tutoring Center was the only one that asked ‘do you have a passion for helping kids’ before they would even discuss granting us a franchise. This franchise is all about helping kids!
