What an eye opener! After being blocked for ideas for a long time, I took the Fundamentals class and my creative wheels are cranking once again.
Fundamentals is a five week course, where Jill not only teaches you effective storytelling tools to develop a GREAT screenplay, but she also gifts students with priceless insider info on how to execute a professional screenplay.
I can’t want to continue my studies with next session’s Master class. AMAZING!

I’m an alumnus of The Screenplay Workshop taught by Jill Chamberlain in Austin, Texas. Through her 10-​week class, my screenwriting ability has improved significantly. Jill has taught me the difference between having a «good idea» and creating a professional screenplay. Not only does Jill cover the basics, she teaches her students the nuances and components required to write a script that will be taken seriously by agents, buyers and studios. I have also taken advantage of her private consulting service on several occasions. The one-​on-​one time with Jill is an excellent way to piece together the tough parts of your script and break through the road blocks that at times can seem insurmountable. My career has really taken off since I started training in Jill’s workshop and private sessions. If you are serious about writing a solid script that will jump to the top ten percent of screenplays that are out there, working with Jill is a must. Hands down it’s the best thing I’ve done to advance my career in writing feature films.

I just completed The Screenplay Workshop’s Master Class taught by Jill Chamberlain. It’s a great program. Jill has studied the art of screenwriting and has broken it down into her own method. Simply put: the method works. Throughout the workshop there are weekly assignments where you apply the method and learn how to become a better screenwriter. Jill has a great personality and inspires creativity.
Our group had a widely dynamic group of individuals; their input – as well as Jill’s – was invaluable to each of our projects. The workshop is appropriate for all skill levels. If you’re interested in learning screenwriting from a professional, I definitely recommend The Screenplay Workshop.
