After working in corporate America for 14 years and interfacing with on-​shore and off-​shore foreign nationals, I’ve come to enjoy the challenge of working with all foreign nationals on a global scale to assist with travel documents for U.S. Citizens and foreign nationals.

Born in the United Kingdom and living in the United States, the Global community fascinates me and incites me to create a business that provides a unique business model of service to companies, organizations and individuals transiting the world.

Background:

Life long career and executive corporate experience in the capacity of Sr. Finance Director of technology for the Hewlett-​Packard Company and Qwest Communications telecommunications. Served as Vice President for Business Development and Business Revenue Modeling Analyst for mid-​size a logistics company.

I needed a visa for an upcoming trip to India… and didn’t particularly want to go and stand in line at the consulate office in Houston. I liked The Passport and Visa Company’s website with explanations and applications for Indian visas, so I thought I’d give them a try. I filled out my application in the Passport and Visa Co office, where Pauline helped me with tricky questions on the application and took my pictures as required for the visa. Kayla was also extremely helpful with updates when I called to check on the status of my visa. When it was ready, they called me to come in and pick it up at the Austin office. Ten year tourist visa in hand, I’m all set!

These guys were great and super helpful. I needed my passport renewed by a certain date and they helped in a professional and friendly manner. They took the photos and handled my paperwork with ease. AWESOME, awesome service, knowledgeable, nice folks, stay in touch, totally on top of everything. Cost less than the gas money to drive and deal with myself, taking weeks and entire day travel. For less $, got it in days, perfect, called every day to keep me up to. date…and we’re going to London for Thanksgiving now. Five stars are not enough to describe these guys. If you don’t use them, you are making a mistake. My wife’s a flight attendant, so we deal with these things a lot, never had better service for a really affordable price. Look no further.

We had an absolutely great experience with Pauline Salzer at the Passport and Visa Company. From start to finish, the process was fast, painless, and Pauline actually made it fun. Pauline gave us great guidance to make sure we filled everything out properly and set our expectations properly as to what the balance of the process would look like. Less than 2 weeks later my family has our passports in hand and are ready for our next vacation. Thanks Pauline!!! If you are considering getting your passport, this is the ONLY way to do it. The extra cost is minimal, and avoiding the all the little «gotcha’s» was priceless.

I called the Passport and Visa Company when I looked at my passport less than 2 weeks before an international vacation, realized it was expired, and panicked. I called them and, unlike some other companies, they answered their phone, were friendly and quickly put me at ease. I recently changed my name after getting married and they even explained exactly what I’d need to do to get a passport issued with my new name. It was way easier than I expected. Their services didn’t require that I drive to Houston, or that I run all over town to a million different agencies. They were friendly, professional, and got the job done not only on time but early. I would recommend this place to anyone needing passport renewal.

We went in needing additional pages on a one passport, a new passport for a child, and five Chinese visas, and needed all of this to be done within two weeks. The staff were very nice, and we received the passport and additional pages within the promised timeline and received the visas a few days faster than expected).
A few minor issues to be aware of:
1) For the new infant passport, they told us that we had to pay by check at the clerk’s office downtown, so we ran from their office down south, north of downtown just to get a checkbook from our house, then back downtown, and because of the extra stop to get the checkbook got their too late and had to go back the next day. It turns out for rush applications you have to use cash or a credit card, so we didn’t need to waste time driving around with an infant to get the checkbook. This may seem nit-​picky, but when you are paying a premium for the company’s expertise in expediting these things, I think it’s reasonable to expect them to advise you correctly on every detail in the process.
2) We had asked that they contact us immediately when the new passport came in because we urgently needed to apply for a global entry card. I called to follow up on a Monday and was told it had come in the previous Friday. Kayla did immediately send over a copy of the new passport number after I called, but it’s disappointing that they didn’t contact me when it came in as promised, since I had stressed the importance of this to Drew (not sure if that was his name) when we met with them. So, if you are working on very short timelines, you may want to follow up with them instead of waiting for them to contact you. They did contact us promptly for everything else, though.
3) They charged us for two single passport photos when we were already paying them almost $ 2,000.00. To be fair, they clearly listed this as a charge in advance, but other companies waive this fee when you’re paying for multiple services.
4) Our passports came back from their office with large stickers on the back advertising their office’s name and phone number. I got to spend an hour this morning taking these off of five passports and attempting to clean off the sticky residue. It seems to me like a better practice would be to ask if their customers mind having the sticker put on their passport. Some people might really like the convenience of having their number right there. We didn’t. Just ask first!
** After I posted this review I immediately got a call from the owner, who was very nice and professional. She said they appreciated my review, and would be implementing some changes because of it. I am always impressed when owners use reviews constructively, and will definitely use this company again in the future because of their positive approach.

Pauline and her team were amazing. Our main contacts where Pauline (the owner) and Kayla. This is a small company and you can definitely expect to receive personal service with quick responses to the many questions you may have. My husband and I are planning an around the world trip and will be visiting many countries. Pauline and her team were able to walk us through the process so easily! I have no regrets paying for the fees this company charges as they took some serious stress off of what has been a very busy time in our lives. I have no doubt we’ll be contacting them again for help along the way!

We have a Big Bend trip coming up and realized a tad late in the game that there is now an official border crossing there. 3 of the 4 of us in our family needed new passports and I didn’t have 100% faith in the government’s claim of 4 – 6 weeks. Plus most Post Offices these days require appointments for passports and I was told most are backed up at least 2 weeks.
A quick Unilocal search led me to The Passport & Visa company and I have to say I was very happy and thoroughly impressed. The staff were all friendly and efficient, explained everything thoroughly and made sure everything that needed to happen happened. We opted for the 2 week expedited plan and actually got them in about a week, without a glitch.
If I had any beef at all it would be in charging $ 10 per passport photo as we ended up spending a total of $ 30 for 6 pictures 3 of which aren’t really needed. That’s my own fault for showing up with pics that didn’t have a white background, but it still seems a tad pricier than it needs to be, especially considering we were already paying them $ 75 each to process.
But that’s a minor issue and overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and for all I know, $ 10 per pic may be the going rate.

I used the Passport & Visa Company to speed up the process of changing my name on my passport. They were incredible! I called them to see if I needed an appointment, it wasn’t necessary so I just walked in the next day. Drew was really great and had me fill out the application, it took about 15 minutes. Typically, the passport gets back between 10 – 14 business days, but during this time (December) there were fewer appointments, so I received my passport within about a week. It was really quick. Pauline and Drew are very helpful, efficient, and patient.

These people were fantastic, I had my passport within six days total… They gave a discount for finding them on Unilocal… And they were so helpful and professional.
I had taken passport photos from Costco, when Pauline found them to be too dark, she took new ones for me right there free of charge. She did not have to do this, it was a generous gesture.
I would recommend them unreservedly. Could not be happier with a service provider. Thank you.

Wow, these folks are GREAT! My wife and I needed to renew our passports quick due to our name change. We booked a trip to Mexico without even thinking about the passport issue, when we did think about it we had a frightening 11 business days to our trip. 5000 down the drain if we couldn’t travel. Drew was amazing, very helpful and friendly. Not to leave the other woman out she was divine too but I don’t remember her name because Drew was helping me. I think when I called I talked to the owner and she was also VERY helpful and informative. Anyhow we received our passports in 3 business days!!! They even called me on the second business day to tell me it cleared in Houston. Oh my I could sleep again! During the holiday season might I add. I highly recommend these guys. So nice and the price was right (I called around). Visa and passport needs? These people are pros, go with them. :)

I recently used TPVC to secure two passports in a rush and I couldn’t be happier I did. They were so helpful, professional and polite even when I called 12 times with questions. They made everything so simple and clearly communicated every step of the process and kept us updated the whole way. I paid for a turn around of 14 days, but had it within a week. my boyfriends application had some issues with using the wrong type of birth certificate and TPVC immediately jumped into action and helped us get his new birth certificate in hand within four days, when originally we were being told 15. His passport was then turned around in less than a week.
I cannot recommend them enough! Even if you don’t need your passport done in a rush it is worth using them to make sure it’s done right.
