Specialties
The Little Gym of Austin at Lakeline offers professionally developed, non-competitive programs in the areas of gymnastics, dance, and sports skills. With years of experience, a mountain of research and loads of happy children, each program has been designed to build motor skills in a fun and nurturing environment, while fostering enhanced emotional, intellectual, and social skills.
We offer classes for children as young as 4 months all the way up to age 12. Each class has its own age specific curriculm, delivered through weekly lesson plans with corresponding themes and music to engage the children and allow them to have fun while developing their skills. Our instructors are carefully trained under The Little Gym methods and our teacher-to-student ratios are low so that we can bring out each child’s best on an individual basis.
Take advantage of our Free Introductory Class. It’s the best way to see the positive effect The Little Gym can have on you and your child.
History
Established in 1976.
Robin Wes had the unique idea to give children the chance to build motor, social, emotional, and intellectual skills in a fun, magical, non-competitive environment. Since there was not a program like this out there, the gymnast, kinesiologist, and musician decided to open the first The Little Gym in Bellevue, Washington. Since then, The Little Gym has blossomed into an internationally known, award winning franchise.
In 2008, Libby and Dean Hague-Smith bought The Little Gym of Cedar Park, changed the name to The Little Gym of Austin at Lakeline and began their journey as owners of one of the best developmental gymnastics organizations in the world. Each thriving to be business owners, Libby and Dean have provided the gym with love, support, and encouragement. They strive to teach the best classes, have superior customer service, and above all have fun.
