History
Established in 2006.
The Lice Place franchise (formerly The Texas Lice Squad), was started by Penny Warner, BSN, RN. It is the only lice removal franchise in the United States owned and operated by a Registered Nurse. What does that mean to you? It means you can be assured that when you come to any of The Lice Place offices, your head lice problem will be resolved based upon research, clinical studies, and utilizing a method which is proven 100% effective and safe.
Cody Bradstreet, a former client of The Texas Lice Squad, purchased the Austin office as a Lice Place franchise in October of 2012. After dealing with head lice on her younger daughter without success, she was thrilled with the service she received at The Lice Place and understood the need for this type of service in the Austin and surrounding area. Cody has continued the business with the same excellent service, dedication, and professionalism that our clients have come to expect.
Meet the Business Owner
Cody B.
Business Owner
Cody was just like any other mother battling head lice. She tried every over the counter, boxed head lice treatment she could find. She spent hours researching and trying home remedies. She was exhausted and felt defeated by a tiny little bug that is no bigger than the end of a pen. After weeks of fighting a losing battle and on the verge of a nervous breakdown, Cody finally found The Lice Place.
They changed her life. The professional staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of accurate information. It only took one visit and Cody’s children were finally lice-free. She had spent hundreds of dollars on products that didn’t work and hours on cleaning that wasn’t necessary. She had been saved by The Lice Place.
Cody was so moved by her experience that she decided to buy The Lice Place. She knew the heartache and pain of dealing with head lice and decided that she was going to make sure she helped as many families as possible avoid going through that type of ordeal.
