At the beginning of the year, Sam helped me to alter my child custody agreement with my ex. Sam is SO incredibly knowledgeable about the law in this area and was quick to point out areas of concern which might be hard to amend. When my ex reached out to me after he was served, Sam also dealt with him so I did not have to speak with him. The whole process was so seamless and easy on my end from the beginning to the final day in court and being able to essentially get full custody of my kids.
Besides all the legal stuff, which he did an AMAZING job with, Sam is very personable and seems to genuinely care about the person he is helping. Sam breaks all the legal terms down in a way that was very easy for me to understand. Either picks up the phone himself when you call or calls you back quite quickly. I always looked forward to seeing him and am very very thankful there are attorneys like Sam. And oh ya… Sam is VERY reasonably priced.
Go see him if you need help. I highly doubt you will be disappointed!

Sam is professional and compassionate. I trusted Sam with my child custody case and as a result I was able to build a better relationship with my ex for the sake of my son. Sam built a great foundation for my case and outlined all the possible outcomes. I turned over everything to Sam and did not stress or worry about what would happen. I will recommend him to everyone. His fees are fair and honestly I would have been ok with paying more for the work he provided.

Recently, my partner and I decided to open a real estate business. After searching on Unilocal,I came across Samuel. Although it appeared he was mostly divorcing people, I decided to give him a call because of what his other clients had said about him on here. I’m glad I did!
It turns out Samuel has experience forming and operating limited liability companies. After he explained the benefits of each type of entity and answering all of my questions, my partner and I decided to hire Samuel.
In no time, I began to receive emails from him requesting the necessary information to form our LLC. Once we sent him the requested information, we had an LLC the very next day! Although we thought that is all we needed, Samuel took the time to discuss with us how to operate the LLC.
Based on our experience with Samuel we can say he is honest and transparent. He always seems interested in keeping as much money in the LLC’s bank account rather than his! My partner and I greatly appreciate his patience with us and as our business grows, we plan to continue to work with Samuel!

When I called Mr. Solodar in regards to my upcoming divorce, I found him to be rude, irritable, and judgmental. He barely listened to anything I said before advising a complete and unconditional surrender in the face of underwhelming forces. I prefer lawyers who tell you the lay of the land rather than what you want to hear, but Mr. Solodar’s cut-​and-​run attitude and abrasive demeanor are not things I want in a lawyer. I also found his advice questionable from a legal perspective, based on my conversations with other lawyers on this matter. Maybe he was having a bad day when I called him, but I still advise finding someone who will advocate for you — and Mr. Solodar was not that person for me.

I looked for the most reliable family attourney I could find on Unilocal.I needed someone who knew what they were doing and wouldn’t cost me an arm and a leg.
I was fighting for visitation with my son. As a male parent to an infant between 5 and six months old against a mother who has a clean history and takes great care of our child, it was a big obstacle.
Sam and I spoke about my situation as soon as I called and didn’t charge me a dime when taking the time to give my situation an overview.
I planned on being a parent before my son was even born and took extra good care of him any chance I could. When things didn’t workout with the relationship, I was seeing my son less and less.
He told me what to come prepared with, what to do to better my chances, and gave me tips on how to stay calm and collective.
After reminding me to stay patient over and over we went to court and got more than I thought we could. Sam was nothing short of impressive when representing my side in court. I was offered (from the mother) 4 – 6 hours a week with some supervision before the hearing and after deciding to go to battle in court, I ended up with 24 – 31 hours a week.
I was so happy at the end of the initial hearing. I’m happier than I’ve ever been now that I have my role as a father back. We’ll have the final hearing soon and I am confident that we will get everything we want.

I’ve dealt with a few different attorneys in the past, and Sam definitely tops the list. My case was settled more quickly than I expected, and also more favorably for me than I expected. I couldn’t have been happier. He is clearly very knowledgeable. He was also very responsive, more so than I’ve seen from any other attorney. At no point did I feel like I wasn’t an important client, and everything throughout the whole process was explained to me very well, so I never felt in the dark about what was going on with my case. I highly recommend using Sam.

UPDATE (11÷23÷15): My divorce is finalized, and Sam exceeded my expectations. It’s been a long process, but I am so glad he guided me through these tough waters. As my ex and I were negotiating the terms of our divorce, Sam was excellent. He made sure we picked and chose our battles. He also took time to explain every aspect of the proposal. We went over it in detail and to this day I know I understood more about what I was signing than my ex who overpaid for an attorney who didn’t deliver half of the service Sam gave me. Still can’t believe the amount of times he would tell me to what he was doing to save me money and keep my expenses to him down! If you go with anybody else, you’re doing yourself a disservice.
Going through a divorce is arguably one of the toughest situations you’ll ever deal with, but I literally was able to sleep at night knowing Samuel Solodar had my back. By the way, when the divorce was finalized, Sam informed me to come by the office to get a check because he didn’t use all of my retainer. Merry Christmas to me!
Don’t overpay for an attorney who isn’t going to represent you like somebody who cares. Go with the best, which is what Samuel Solodar is!

UPDATE (5÷26÷15): The only reason I haven’t update my review is because my wife and I were unsure about getting a divorce, so we took that pot off the stove. Sam was supportive about our decision. Didn’t want anybody to think he was dragging out the process.

I was going to wait until my divorce was finalized to write a glowing review, but I couldn’t wait. I hired Mr. Solodar based on these reviews, and honestly, he has exceeded my expectations! Since I’m superstitious, I don’t want to jinx anything until this divorce is finalized, but Mr. Solodar has been honest, I feel like I’m his only client, and he has been fighting successfully for me. I had so much anxiety when this divorce process began because of how dirty my wife was being, but this guy has not only leveled out the playing field, my rights as a husband and parent are finally being acknowledged by the court system. He has achieved things other attorneys told me were probably not possible. I now sleep at peace every night knowing he’s on the case.
By the way, when you go to his office, it’s not fancy. I asked him why not. He said the expensive office is for the attorney’s ego, and to impress clients. Trust me, I’m happy to be paying for results as opposed to expensive paintings. And I can’t tell you how many times Mr. Solodar has told me «Let’s get off the phone so you’re not running up your bill.» Seriously? You’re interested in saving me money? This guy is incredible!
I can’t wait till my case is over to reveal more details, but if you’re shopping for an attorney, hire him before your spouse reads this review and gets him. Trust me, after seeing his courtroom performance during my case recently, you don’t want this guy going against you!

SAM SOLODAR IS ABSOLUTELY 250% WONDERFUL!!!
I am so happy I retained him as my lawyer. We had 1 big (not at all his or my fault) but he handled everything with such class, charisma and patience. he was definitely more patient than me. I will say he is a very capable and fair attorney, even my now EX (yaayyy) says he was fair and polite when he spoke with him.
Even though I know he was working on other cases he had a way of making me feel as if he was working only on mine.
He is one very intelligent and honest attorney.
