I had a groupon for Vickie Teague and she did an amazing job with my hair. I wanted to wait 2 week before reviewing since it gives me time to understand my hair. My hair looked fabulous the day it was cut. The issue always comes after — how can I maintain my hair. I told Vickie that I wanted a low maintenance hair cut — I have 2 young kids and do not have time to deal with my hair. The texture of my hair is slightly wavy and definitely frizzy when it’s humid. Vickie delivered — my hair is extremely low maintenance and it still looks good. It’s long enough that it’s not frizzy and light weight enough that it has a nice bounce.
Most importantly, I have found someone in Austin that I can now have as my go to person for hair.

I had my lashes done there and they wee beautiful! Lots if compliments, and when they came off they didn’t take my lashes with them.
My only complaint and why I didn’t give that extra star was because I had bought the groupon and paid for a full set and a fill. I scheduled my appt and couldn’t get in for 2 weeks (because she’s amazing, I can see why she’s booked!) but what I wish they had warned me is that it’s always like that, not because of the groupon. So after my appt I went to schedule my fill and couldn’t get in for a month! Well I didn’t have any lashes by then. :(So I ended up cancelling it and ate the cost of the fill. So my only suggestion is book 2 fill appts at the same time as your full set! I wish I had been warned.
Other than that this place is fabulous! You won’t be sorry!

Being new to Austin, I wanted a Brazilian Blowout and had no clue where to go. Using Unilocal,I found that Sarah Carr had amazing reviews so I immediately booked with her! I had to book way in advance, which I took as a great sign showing that people love going to her! I was not disappointed! She was awesome! I love the way my hair turned out and she is a super nice person! I will definitely be going back to her for my next Brazilian Blowout and even haircuts! I definitely recommend her to anyone that wants to get their hair done!:)

I bought a groupon for a partial highlight and cut with Vickie Teague and I was beyond impressed! My silly map app had me all over the dang place so I was late to the apt and Vickie was STILL amazing! I have a ton of hair and my apts tend to last a few hours but not with her — she was quick and so so good! I got my hair done on Saturday and I did not touch it until Tuesday night — and I was still getting compliments on it! The woman knows what she’s doing — I will definitely be going back to her even without the groupon pricing. Highly highly recommend!

I bought a Groupon for a haircut, conditioning treatment, and low lights so I decided to try this salon for the first time. Wow, Vickie Teague did a fantastic job! She was so helpful in giving me great advice/​tips, listening to what I wanted, and making the whole 1.5 hrs very enjoyable. She is so professional and you can just tell that she really knows her hair color work and cut and her prices are amazing for the quality of work! And I had been wanting to try the Moroccan product line which they use and carry there. Love, love, those products! Thank you Vickie!

I got the Brazilian Blowout by Sarah Carr, she was amazing and treated me so well. I’ve never had a Brazilian blowout before so she answered all my questions and gave me a heads up before she didn’t anything with my hair. She made sure I was comfortable in her chair and took her time with my hair. The results were amazing my hair before was frizzy and wavy, but now with this treatment I don’t have to straighten my hair as often because it looks fine… no frizz or waves.
It’s been about two weeks since I’ve gotten it, I will definitely go back to get another one.

Just got a Brazilian Blowout from the very talented Sarah Carr and I left so happy! I have very fine frizzy hair that doesn’t mix well with Texas humidity and summers. Sarah is meticulous and takes her time to get this process done right. She is also so easy to talk to and you feel like you’re sitting with a girlfriend! I’m looking forward to not spending so much time on my hair and enjoying summer with my new do! Highly recommend!!!

I came in for a Brazilian Blow out with Sarah Carr and it was the best straightening service I have ever had. She is awesome. I have very thick curly hair and she spent a lot of time on my hair. She is also really flexible with appointments. I have a busy schedule and she always makes it work for getting me in. Highly recommend her for high lights, Brazilians or cuts.

I booked a Brazillian Blowout with Sarah Carr over three weeks ago. My appointment was today and I received a call about two hours before my appointment asking if I could move my appointment back 30 minutes, which I was not a problem. The about an hour before my rescheduled appointment, I received a voicemail from the salon saying that the stylist did not realize how behind she was and that they would have to reschedule my appointment for another day, could I come next Tuesday at 10am? I called the salon back and told them that I would be travelling this week and couldn’t come on Tuesday. The receptionist said that she would talk to the stylist and call be back in ten minutes. Thirty minutes later after hearing nothing, I called back in and was told that Ms. Carr had no other appointments available and the she would give her my phone number and she would call me back. Wanna guess? Yep, no phone call. I guess three weeks wasn’t enough time for this stylist or this salon to plan for a 90 minute procedure. Take your business elsewhere…

I’ve been coming to see Sarah Carr for about a year now and I absolutely love her!
She does great color, cuts, and Brazilian Blowouts! I highly recommend coming to see her. She’s a perfectionist as well as an awesome person to talk with while you’re getting pampered.
Honestly, I won’t let anyone else work on my hair now. Definitely the best I’ve found in Austin.

Received a Brazilan blowout from Sarah Carr and went back for a colr, highlights and cut. Sarah did a wonderful job. So good in fact I haven’t returned to my old stylist. I can go much longer in between appointments because of the quality color and great cut. I have also taken both my daughters who are very picky about their long hair and they love Sarah as well! Definitely my stylist from now on.

This review is for Sarah Carr. I got a brazillian blowout here, from a groupon. I got exactly the results I was hoping for! My hair is so smooth, and dries almost straight from my usual curly hair.
I had a brazillian blowout in the past and I couldn’t see any change, so I was definitely pleased with these results! I will be going back :)

Love, love, LOVE my stylist Vickie Teague! I’ve been going to her for years, if she moves, I move! She has the perfect knack for hair color and cut and her prices are amazing for the quality of work! Vickie gets 5 stars!!! I scored the salon 4 stars because it gets incredibly uncomfortable sweating while I’m getting my hair done. Almost every trip I have to ask the owner to turn the air down and have heard several others have to ask the same thing.

Nancy for hair and Amy for skin — I’m in! These two professionals make me as gorgeous as possible which indeed makes them miracle workers. And they never make me feel anything other than a pampered client. The salon is bright and clean and the prices are fair. The first time I ever had a full set of lash extensions was by Amy at this salon. I was skeptical at first but she made me feel completely comfortable and answered every question I had. The end results were beautiful, luscious, natural looking full eye lash extensions. I was beyond happy with my results. Since first visit, I have had many compliments on my eyelashes due to their natural and full appearance. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone who is interested in getting their lashes done. She is extremely professional and takes her time with her clients.

Lash extensions, what an extravagance, but I had a Groupon and I was curious. They came out amazing. I often wear falsies and was fearful that the extensions would feel heavy, like the falsies, but they are super light. I went natural, but you could go full diva, and maybe next time I’ll try for a more animé look. Either way, you don’t feel them on your lash line at all, and even the natural look makes an impact.
The process is long, about 1.5 hours, but it’s so relaxing and painless that I actually fell asleep. Thanks Amy for a fantastic job. I will be back!
Update: since my review I have filled my lashes once and got a facial. Amy still lives up to her 5-​star status in my book. The fill was pretty quick, 1 hour, and the facial was super relaxing and very well priced ($ 55) for 1.5 hours of glorious self pampering. My skin and lashes both look great.
