Tim Heyl is the ambitious founder and leader of The Heyl Group. An Austin native, Tim was raised in the real estate industry learning aspects of the business from his father and owner of Heyl Homes, a luxury custom home building Company. Pretty pleasant experience over all. They helped us sell our first house. The only small issue we had, was there being so many folks under the agent, it got confusing on who’s who and what part they played in the entire process.

They are friendly, quick and concise with communication, and in general just easy to do business with.
I’ve worked with Amy Goldberg multiple times and I trust and recommend her without reservation (though the other agents I’ve had dealings with have been fantastic as well).

Working with the Heyl group has been awesome. As a home inspector I work with many agents and agencies. The Heyl group has been great to work with. The agents are awesome to deal with and always available if I have a question. The office manager always gets me all the information I need the first time. Carly is awesome to work with. No back and forth calls and emails trying to get needed info. If you need a home sold or looking to buy I would recommend them. Great Group of People!

We sold our house with Michael Boswell of the Heyl group and ended up an awful experience. This was our first time selling a house and we had asked for a leaseback, and Michael assured us that we could get it. We did not realize this should have been part of our contract, and three weeks later he told us that our buyers wasn’t interested in doing a leaseback. There was a lot of back and forth about it and we ended up having to rearrange all our moving plans at the last minute. During a heated conversation with him, he insisted that he didn’t mess up by leaving it out of our contract, stating that he had a «verbal agreement» with the buyer about the leaseback. Since when do «verbal agreements «hold up in real estate? He was also condescending, stating that he wasn’t «going to console» me about it. I was not looking to be consoled, just really angry. He then complained that we asked him the same question «17 times»…which is obviously an exaggeration, but sorry you actually had to do your job and answer our questions!

I had a good experience selling my house with the Heyl group. The pictures that they took of the home were awesome, and everything was very professionally managed. We were able to touch base weekly, and they were always quick respond to our questions over email and on the phone as needed. They have a really good system that allows buyer agents to provide specific feedback regarding what their clients did and didn’t like about our home after a showing.
I worked specifically with Katie and Sydne, and was impressed with their professionalism and dedication. A month after our house sold Tim Heyl followed up personally to ask about the process and any feedback we had. I have nothing but positive things to say, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them in the future for someone looking to sell their house.

I had a great experience working with The Heyl Group and specifically Seth Goldberg. Seth helped us through the bidding process on a house in South Central Austin where there were 12 bids (!). He gave us great advice and helped us to submit the winning bid for the house. His relationship with the selling agent and his dedication to making sure to communicate appropriately where what made the difference. I also appreciated that during the shopping process the whole group at Heyl was very professional and responsive by making sure to get me into new listings right away and not pressuring me to make a quick decision. Great job to The Heyl Group!
