The Green Fairy Cleaning

We have been using Green Fairy for more than 6 months now for regular cleaning and they are great! Flexible and easy to work with regarding scheduling. I love the personalized aroma and always love coming home after they have been there! Great company!

The Green Fairy is great because they understand the importance of attention to detail which is for me the only reason I would pay someone else to clean my home other than myself-​if they don’t do as good or better than me then it’s not worth it but The Green Fairy goes above and beyond just their thorough cleanings. My kids will run to their rooms to see what special way she has arranged their favorite stuffed animals and then I notice that my dog has a full fresh bowl of water when I get back, it’s the little things you wish you had the time to do yourself and you can tell they’re people you can trust. They are very accommodating if you want them to focus on certain areas or have any special instructions. They make their own organic products which tells you that they adhere to the same non toxic standards, your place smells amazing and you can actually feel great about your kids and pets walking around on your floors etc. it’s a great investment for your time and a great value for your family’s health and happiness! I can’t recommend them enough, I love The Green Fairy!!! :)

Green Fairy Organic cleaning is the best! I love their philosophy, their products, and their commitment to providing good service. There are lots of cleaning services available, and you can probably pay less — but if you want a home that smells clean, not like chemicals; if you want a home that is clean, not just a checklist that says it was cleaned when it wasn’t; if you want to support a local business that provides superior service and is nice to your pets, then you should give Green Fairy a call.

Green Fairy products are my favorite. I bought three Christmas packages for relatives and everyone has ranted about scent of the essential oil blends. I personally love that I’m using herbs and natural botanical cleansers to help in killing the unwanted bacterias and keeping my good ones around. :)
I also love how Green Fairy uses natural bees wax from Local, Goodflow Honey.

The day came when I realized my place would just never look as clean as I want it to. My level of «good enough» when I’m cleaning isn’t the same level of «good enough» that I want to see when its done. Its just not in me.
So, why not hire somebody who is specialized — save me time to do other things? I began the research project, and I saw an ad from Sarah of The Green Fairy on Craigslist — and I was impressed by her rates and homemade eco-​friendly cleaning supplies and her Miele vacuum (I’m very particular about vacuums, for some inexplicable deep-​rooted-​engineering reason).
Sarah came by for a quick 15-​minute free consultation one morning, and I felt comfortable with her immediately. We scheduled a deep «Wall-​to-​Wall cleaning» which she estimated at about 4 hours. I’m not quite sure why deep cleanings are more expensive per hour than standard cleanings, but I could imagine its simply harder work.
She was willing to come by on a Saturday for her first visit so that I could be home and comfortable with the setting.
Today, The Green Fairy showed up with mop and pail in hard, Miele in backpack, and a plethora of other supplies. I chose mint as a free aromatherapy add-​on. I’d prefer citrus lemon/​lime — but my cat is terrified of citrus in a comical way.
Sarah was very thorough and took her time, gently cleaning areas. She had no qualms with my cat or dealing with the litter box or feeding areas.
4.5 hours later (a bit over-​schedule, but understandable), my place smells deliciously minty and looks fantastic. I want to chill on my couch and sip a mojito while staring at my newly sparkling condo.
Why didn’t I hire a cleaning service earlier? Now — to figure out what luxuries I can give up so that I can afford this on a periodic basis. Considering how much my mortgage is, though — its well worth a bit extra to keep my home looking nice.
