The Fix is a residential service that creates functional, sustainable, and beautiful organizing systems for your home. My number one goal is to allow my client to feel confident and in control of their home. It’s not just about labeling and color-​coding, it’s about creating a home organizational system that will save time, give joy, and offer The Fix you’ve been looking for.

History

Established in 2014.

I started The Fix at the beginning of 2014. In my bio I call myself «a reformed slob», and it’s not an exaggeration.

I went through a very difficult time in my life and my home was a direct representation of that. Did I have the time to keep my place clean and organized? Yes.

Did I do it? No, I didn’t care, and every time I walked into my house, it was like the world was crashing in.

The cycle continued, until, at some point I felt the insatiable desire to FIX my surroundings. I most definitely could not control certain negative things that happened to me, but I could throw out the bill that I paid off from 2009. Once I did that, I felt a sense of empowerment and pretty soon I had a filing system for bills, records, etc. and suddenly my life was ¹⁄₅ more manageable.

My love of organizing spread from there. The more I organized, the more space in my brain was free. I now had the energy to tackle situations that I couldn’t before. Thus, The Fix was born!

Business Owner

I am a native Austinite, and a reformed slob. I understand how messes and chaos start, and how to prevent them. Nothing makes me happier than reforming chaotic spaces into calm ones. It’s like magic… from a label maker.

After running out of things to organize in MY life, I began to organize for friends and family members until it became apparent that I needed to offer my skills and passion to more clients. I named this company «The Fix» because organizing is both a personal addiction and a solution for so many problems.

Having a functional, serene space can offer you inner peace, save you time, and make you more productive.
