Tyler is the best Barista around! I Love me some chai and he makes it perfect, on top of being so nice!

This coffee shop isn’t as chic and dim lit as the coffee shops I’m used to in Nashville but they have a great product and a friendly staff… and friendly staffs are hard to come by.

I keep meaning to write this update, so… I was in here a couple of weeks ago. The boyfriend was at Autozone, so to kill time, me and his kid walked over here. Way better than trying to keep busy in a car-parts store. When we got there, I asked the girl at the counter which drinks contained milk, because I’m really not all about that life lately. She was able to rattle off which ones had milk and in what parts, and even broke down which ones had milk but not a whole lot, like if you have allergies you’ll be fine, and which ones had milk, like if you’re vegan you don’t want this. I found that really helpful, and it took the guess work out of ordering. Blonde, vegan barista, you get me, you rock! After we ordered, it was only about two minutes before the first tea came out. I promptly spilled it everywhere. The kiddo and me started cleaning it up, and out of nowhere, SuperManager comes over and very graciously takes over the whole process, and even dried the seats and table and got us a new drink for free. I can’t remember what all we ordered, but everything I’ve had here has been spectacular. Coffee is awesome, the teas are awesome(thank you barista) and the service is outstanding(thank you manager and barista!)

Every so often, the 183 morning rush gets me onto the side road and I remember the Coffee Bean. Writing this, I feel a little guilty that it takes a fender-bender to get me into here most of the time. My favorite here is actually Matcha Latte — yeah, its got a lot of sugar in it, its a treat, and luckily the drivers on 183 are better than the ones on Mopac so I don’t get it too often. But its always worth the stop. If you’ve been Starbucking too long, you may be surprised coffee doesn’t have to taste burnt, and you can get some really interesting tea alternatives here. The staff is really fun — don’t be afraid to walk in and ask for«something fun I can’t get from the other guys’ — which is how I discovered the Matcha Latte. Easy in-and-out and parking.

I absolutely love this place. I do not drink coffee, but I am a huge tea fan. It is pretty hard to find somewhere that has a good variety of tea, surprisingly. When I found this place, only a few minutes up the road from where I live I was instantly in love. The staff is great, laid-back & friendly, you never feel rushed or unappreciated. A few times new members of staff have messed up my order, once they messed it up twice in a row, but they refunded me completely without me saying anything and made it a third time and gave me a large. :) That’s great service. The flavors and options are ALL amazing. Coffee drinking friends tell me their coffee choices beat Starbucks. ;) If you love tea & want to try something delicious & new — try the Iced Tea Latte Blueberry & Pomegranate — you won’t regret it!!! I also have business meetings here without any issues. There is a back porch seating area and they have a water bowl if you’d like to bring your pups with you!

Coffee bean is a great place for a relaxing and quiet study location. Whenever I need to study for a big test, I try to go to this location first since the libraries by the UT campus are very far from where I live up north. This place is very clean, has free wi-fi, and has plenty of outlets and seats. However, it can get busy at times so try to plan accordingly if you want to study all day here. The coffee and tea are pretty good and a bit cheaper than Starbucks but there is less variety and signature drinks as Starbucks. Some drinks that I get are the ice hazelnut coffee and the green tea. The iced hazelnut coffee is pretty good but could use a bit more sugar. The green tea is pretty average. Summary: This location is a great study place if there are enough seats. Drinks are mediocre and a good alternative if you don’t want to pay for Starbucks.

Abe’s gotta be the most friendly but not annoying coffee place cashier ever. No matter how grumpy you are in the morning.

The staff is so friendly! Everything was super tasty, and reasonably priced. It is very relax inside. Nice place to hang out. We had the pumpkin bread and cappuccinos one with caramel and one plain. Both yummy! The music was at a great level also, I hate going into places that the music over powers the conversation. Definitely going to frequent this location.

Went in to get espresso capsules for my CB&TL machine, and out of the half dozen or so varieties, the only boxes this location had were decaf. This makes me wonder how long this franchise is going to be around.

Their Pumpkin Chai is spot on! The music could afford to be a bit quieter but that is just a personal preference.

This Coffee Bean is amazing. I love it for a multitude of reasons including a wide variety of drinks and super friendly baristas. The ONLY suggestion I have is I think they should do some kind of reward program. Other than that, I love this place and I can’t wait for Winter Dream Tea Latte’s to come back!:)

I’m a loyal CBTL customer, they have the best coffee period. But this location is regularly out of ingredients. Rather annoying.

Super friendly service, they even offered to let me smell the tea before I ordered(from a cute little jar, not something others would be served from) because I’d never heard of it. So I ordered a Small Vanilla Ceylon Tea Latte, and it’s like drinking a perfectly sweet, creamy, vanilla flower. My guy comes here for work happy hours pretty frequently, and I’m so glad he brought me!

I love this place. I came here without knowing anything about the place in a big rush to find wifi and get on a business call. What a gem. This place is very pleasant. The folks who work here are great. The wifi is fast enough to have an IP phone call. The coffee and snacks are very tasty! They’re playing Bonnie Raitt and James Brown on the radio. They deserve to thrive.

What a really great group of folks working here! They are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The shop has a very relaxed vibe, which makes it nice getting work done here. The chai latte was tasty and just the perfect amount of sweet; not too much at all. The shop is very tidy and clean. This is my first time to this particular shop, because I’m up here taking care of some things, but I have to say that my only other time at a Coffee Bean and Tea was so horrible I swore I’d never return. This shop has softened my heart and the love is real, y’all. Thanks for giving a gal on the go a relaxing spot to rest a bit and get some work done, YOUROCK!

My wife got an ice blend drink with chai tea and pumpkin spice, these flavors complmented each other very well, surprizingly so! I went with a medium hot coffee so i could obliterate my low carb life style with an apple pie gedunk… gedunk is… for you landlubber types… a snack and the place a snack may be purchased on a naval vessel. Class dismissed…

I’m personally a starbucks fan but my son decides that he’s Mr. go to the CBTL drive through before school because it’s cool(and a girl he likes does it) so I take him and we order drive though. The people who work in the mornings are weird– some, like the woman with the cool squid wearing a mustache tattoo on her arm are an awesome-weird. Others — like the guy with the bushy facial hair barely being held in by a net, are a rude, smug kind of odd-weird. He got all attitude on me when I added a canister of vanilla powder to my order at the window(after ordering at the drive through box). He said, «next time it would be better if you ordered everything up front.» Excuse me? I thought I was the customer. You know, the try to make everything pleasant for because they are buying your products kind of customer. I keep coming back because of my son(and because of the drive-through). Some workers are very nice but some are just rude. My best guess is it’s a management or training problem. The food and drinks are pretty comparable to the starbucks that is in the same plaza, but the customer service is not. The people at starbucks are ALWAYS nice, sometimes they are overly peppy in the morning which can be irritating but they are never, ever rude. CBTL employees seem like they were just set free from some hipster organic farming co-op. I like to think of starbucks as the mature older sibling, doing everything a little too perfectly and annoying the younger sibling — who is a surly, pre-pubescent CBTL. Bottom line is that you will get good food/drinks and you may get spotty customer service.

Thirst kicked in while in a warm waiting room. I was told there was a soft drink machine outside on the corner of the sidewalk. Nope, it wasn’t there but across the parking lot was this place. Walking in, I knew immediately they had WiFi. Five people at separate tables in the seating area with their heads buried in their electronic devices. Behind the counter were three employees. One on a ladder, one handing her boxes and one holding the ladder. Did you know they have storage behind the wall menu’s. That’s what the lady on the ladder was doing, restocking behind the menu I wanted to see. The girl holding the ladder came over to take my order. I asked if they had iced tea. She smiling she points up at the menu. I look up and say, I only see the hot drinks. She reacts by asking them to lower the menu sign. They did for a brief minute. Iced tea/lemonade mixed. Okay, sounds interesting. She asks what size. Oops the menu is no longer visible. So I order a medium. I pay the $ 3.49 thinking I am getting a big drink. Nope, it was about a 12 ounce plastic cup filled 2⁄3 full with ice. The drink was interesting and it quenched the thirst. Now the rant. $ 3.50 for that small serving. Now I remember why I don’t go to coffee shops. Overpriced.
