The BEEF CAKE Shop only uses Certified Angus Beef (CAB) to make its ground beef based patties. «Certified Angus Beef» (CAB) is a special industry designation developed in 1978 that involves standards for marbling, tenderness, age, and color. According to the National Cattleman’s Beef Association, only about 8% of U.S. beef is entitled to the label «Certified Angus.» Following the guidelines set by the National Beef Association all of our ground beef patties are cooked well done, 160 degrees. All chicken based slider patties are made with fresh ground boneless, skinless breast and thigh meat. Chicken Patties are cooked to 165 degrees as required by Texas Health Department standards.
