Stay away from this guy. Unfortunately I am locked in to a contract with them for maintenance. Continued customer satisfaction issues. Like others who have reported here, Charlie doesn’t return calls in a timely manner or at all. I wrote to them when they did not provide the service maintenance I pre-​paid for, I got a letter from Charlies admitting they missed servicing my house. Then when I renewed my service agreement, I am now being ignored again! I will not renew with them again.

We have used Texas Septic Services for our inspections the last four years. Usually it is a non event. They come they put their findings on our door and that is it. I will say the various times we have had face to face interactions with them they are no nonsense. Not a lot of small chat. That is fine. I don’t need to be best friends with them. Well this inspection they left a note saying there is an issue with the pump and call Charlie to schedule a repair. That is on a Tuesday. My husband left a voicemail on Charlie’s cell phone on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. On Friday he also called another phone number we found for them and left a voice mail. My husband tried Charlie’s cell phone twice Saturday. In one of the voice mails he stated he had left about five voice mails and would appreciate a call back.
On Saturday we finally got a call back from Charlie. He acted shocked that we had that many calls on his voicemail. He stated only got the one on Saturday. Anyway, he starts to state his guy didn’t tell him there was an issue on the pump and he filed the paper work. Well maybe you should read the paperwork before you file it. He will send a guy out on Monday. At which point my husband asked really it is Memorial Day, you guys are working? Charlie replied, Yes, someone will be out at 9am on Memorial Day. OK if you are sure you will be working. He confirmed yes they would be.
Well at 10am on Memorial Day we call Charlie back. Thankfully, he answers but starts to tell us“his guy didn’t show up for work. They are always testing him if they will actually fire him.” OK Charlie this is not our issue. Is someone coming out or not as we would like to do other things on our Memorial Day besides wait for you. Maybe if you had called us back before Saturday then your guys wouldn’t have to work Memorial Day. Charlie stated he would call us back to let us know either way. Surprise he never did.
Tuesday at 9am my husband gets a call from John Paul saying he is on his way to service our septic. This is where my husband went wrong. He told him not to come. He didn’t yell or anything just said he didn’t want him to work on our system. He was over the run around and unprofessional attitude. This was a mistake for me as I want a working septic system.
I decided to call Charlie myself. I have never been treated so unprofessional. He started yelling at me saying «my husband and I are unAmerican to expect them to work on a holiday. That we deserve every bad thing that every comes our way. That we haven’t had a valid maintance contract with them in six months and no one called to renew it. As such he did us a service coming out last Tuesday to tell us our pump was broken. He would never work for us again. He wished us nothing but bad things as we were unAmerican. That he was country folk and he didn’t have to be ordered to work. John Paul has a huge military family and he has a right to be with them on Memorial day.»
I am honestly shocked, I called to say I am sorry about my husband’s actions on Tuesday but we would like for you to come fix our septic. To be clear we never suggested they work on Memorial Day, Charlie is the one that stated they would be working on Memorial Day. I was born and raised in Austin. My husband was born in Iowa. We have family that have served in the military. My dad for one, my brother for another. I agree John Paul should be allowed to not work a holiday. None of that trumps the fact that you didn’t return our calls for four days. That you said you would call us back but never did. Did we ever get paper work saying our contract was over? We have had a contract with you for four years. The last time it was up you sent us new paper work to sign. However, this time I am suppose to remember it is up and call you to renew? OK because my septic contract is at the top of my list of things to remember. My family is «country folk» as well Charlie. My dad is from Marble Falls & Austin born in 1935. One thing all the men in my family have learned is not to speak to women as you spoke to me, sir. It appears you may be losing your professionalism as you age. It appears you are well respected in the Septic community but that does give you the right to be so unprofessional. I wish you nothing but good things as maybe you will become a better human.
I do find it odd that the first time we have a real issue this is what has happened. It is easy to come out once a quarter look in and leave an invoice. However, when I need repair work this is what I have gotten. Do you really know how to repair septics or only inspect them for issues.
Thankful our maintance contract is finish with this company. Don’t waste your time or money with this business unless you want to be abused. Two year inspection contract was $ 550.00

Charlie never showed up and i missed a work meeting for this! Called him back and he hung up on me.
