THE BEST! I loved everything about Terra Vista Strings. They were our first vendor to book and it was by far the best experience. Anthony was super helpful, super flexible, and super friendly. We got tons of comments about how great the music was at the reception. I wish we’d booked them for longer. I wish I could book them to follow me around and be my personal soundtrack.

Terra Vista Strings played for our ceremony and cocktail hour this past weekend at Barr Mansion. They truly made our day extra special! I had them play a special song for my parents as they walked down the aisle. Even though my song was not in their repertoire, they were happy to learn it and it sounded beautiful. Anthony was truly a pleasure to work with. He was very quick at responding to all of my emails and phone calls. Very professional!!! All of my guests kept commenting on how beautifully they played.

My wife decided we need these guys to play at our wedding. I was super concerned it was going to destroy some of the cool factor I was going for and be an un-​necessary cost.
We went to meet with Anthony and he could tell I wanted some cool stuff aka Star Wars, Video game themes and 80’s hair metal, you know cool stuff. He was totally into the idea and my then fiancé now wife was down with letting me have some say!
We got string Guns N Roses and some Final Fantasy and Zelda themes and the best exit song possible in the Star Wars Throne Room march/​theme! I cant say enough good things about these guys they totally made our wedding better and I would recommend them to anyone anytime!

There were so many details at my wedding that I loved, but the one that I anticipated most and was probably the most excited about was to have a live string quartet play during my ceremony. You see I come from a music background and have always dreamed of live musicians playing as I walked down the aisle.
When I discovered Terra Vista Strings I was immediately in love with the idea. I contacted Anthony and we set up a meeting to discuss more details. Anthony is experienced and super professional. He came to the meeting with sound clips and definitely knew what questions to ask to help us figure out what we wanted.
On the day of the event I honestly never saw them until I was walking down the aisle. It was magical. I loved every minute of what I heard. I also got a ton of compliments from my guests on their performance. They played a mix of things for us — modern, contemporary, classical. I loved the surprise exit song at the end of the ceremony — Star Wars Throne Room! The faces on my guests — I will never forget that.
Anthony and his team were amazing the entire time! I couldn’t have dreamed of anything better! If you are considering using Terra Vista Strings — do it!

Terra Vista played at both our ceremony and cocktail hour and did a beyond fabulous job! They created such a lovely ambiance for our guests. We would definitely suggest using them for any type of gathering, from weddings to corporate events!

I decided last minute that I wanted strings during my ceremony. I called Terra Vista just 2 weeks before my wedding and they arranged a solo violinist for my wedding that was an hour from Austin. Anthony was very quick to respond to all my questions and he helped me plan the music for the ceremony. Vladislav was the violinist and his music made the whole ceremony so elegant. I wish I could have sat in the chapel the whole time and listened to him. I heard such great compliments about him after the wedding. He also accompanied the officiant on a song and it sounded so beautiful. If you want to add an elegant touch to any occasion for a very reasonable price, I highly recommend Terra Vista.

It was such a pleasure working with Terra Vista Strings from start to finish. They played at our wedding in October and it was just magical. Their prices are fair and soooooo worth it! Everyone commented on how amazing they sounded. It truly made the ceremony and cocktail hour so much more elegant and inviting for our guests. Terra Vista Strings played at my wedding on October 4, 2014. The music was absolutely amazing. When my dad and I walked down the aisle and I heard the music, it felt magical. That’s what any bride wants on her wedding day!
The planning process was also fantastic. I met with Anthony to go over all of the options. I did not know what music I wanted for the processionals. Anthony had some great suggestions that really matched with how I had envisioned my wedding to be and with my personal taste. Turned out he knew what I wanted before I knew it myself! It really showed his professionalism and expertise.
He followed up with me several times before the wedding to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. So, on the big day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I have had many compliments from my guests saying they loved the music (some could even remember all of the songs they had played!). They called it «intimate and classy».

I couldn’t have been happier with Terra Vista Strings! Their string trio played at my wedding ceremony and part of the cocktail hour. They were extremely accommodating with specific song requests, but they also had a huge list of pieces to choose from. They have sound clips on their website, which really helps too. Anthony, was very professional and so easy to communicate with. I recommend them for sure!

My husband, Brian, and I got married on March 22^nd at Kindred Oaks in Georgetown, Texas. I am an opera singer, so I had a long list of music that I wanted included in my wedding ceremony. I went to college with the owner, Anthony Chen, and I knew many of the players also played with Austin Lyric Opera and Austin Symphony Orchestra. Anthony is so nice and easy to work with. He had great suggestions for the parts of the ceremony I hadn’t thought of and he even arranged a few songs specifically to be played with singers. They played leading up to the ceremony, during the ceremony, and into cocktail hour. I got so many comments on all the beautiful music and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Anthony also has a list of many «non-​traditional» songs that he has arranged for his quartet, many of them are fun and lighthearted. If you want an awesome string quartet for your wedding, Terra Vista is definitely one of the best around the Austin/​San Antonio area!

I worked with Terra Vista Strings to provide music for my wedding for an outdoor ceremony on a ranch in April 2014 in Wimberley, Texas. I was extremely pleased with everything they did, from the planning to the performance on the day of the wedding. They employ wonderful musicians and can basically play ANYTHING, even special requests and all kinds of classical and contemporary music! Just ask! Anthony, the owner, was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. He is very attentive and was helpful in terms of choosing music pieces and advising about the ceremony. I planned everything long distance and he was very easy to correspond with via email and phone. They are also very flexible and willing to work with you on anything! Their rates are also extremely affordable and their talent is superb. It was exactly what I wanted for my ceremony music and I am so happy to have had them as a part of my wedding! I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again!

Working with Anthony was a true pleasure and the music he and his group provided at our October, 2013, wedding was fantastic. We wanted a mix of traditional and contemporary music and Terra Vista ably provided just what we wanted. The group sounded great, looked appropriate and professional, and fulfilled – no, exceeded our expectations. The music pleased all ages – my late 40’s friend played me his iPhone recording of the music weeks later and a friend’s 13 year old, impressed, said «Wow! They’re planing a Cold Play song! A good Cold Play song!»
Anthony will help you select music and he even gave us good tips about when to start the music and how long/​when they should play. Over-​all great and I will use Terra Vista Strings again.

Anthony and his team at the Terra Vista Strings were simply amazing and was one of the highlight at our wedding. Not only were music for the ceremony enchanting and classy, but the guests really enjoyed their version of all the know rocks and pops during the receptions. I have a lot of comments from families and friends after the wedding how much they loved the musics.
An added bonus was that my mom decided that she wanted to sing some special songs from a song book in chinese, and asked them if they can play the songs from the sheet music in the song book she happens to have. Amazingly, they complied and play them pretty much pitch perfect! It was quite a feat. and we were all really really impressed, and had quite a laugh too, because my asian mom, whom we all love very very much, can be a bit crazy :) At any rate, it was great of Anthony and his team to play along and handled professionally, kudos guys!
We love these guys and will be recommending them to others for formal events or even just classy parties in the future.

So professional and so amazing. Anthony knew that he wouldn’t be able to meet with me face to face before the wedding so he set up a FaceTime chat with me. I really appreciated this gesture as it would’ve been just fine without it but he really wanted to get to know us.

What can I say? Ah. maze. ing. Anthony Chen arranges the whole deal, and he’s fantastic. He worked around my husband’s and my schedule to meet and discuss our likes and dislikes (and we were pretty picky), and nothing threw him off. We collaborated a lot over email, which was much easier for me due to my day job at a computer, and he was super responsive. I changed my mind on a few songs throughout the process, and he never batted an eyelash! They offered to learn a song for me (one by Stars), but we ended up using some Sigor Ros instead, which was just beautiful. The selections were varied and wonderful (in addition to Sigor Ros, we also had Kreisler, Edith Piaf, The Beatles, and Neutral Milk Hotel, as well as a few other songs that Anthony suggested based on our tastes). Their prices are extremely reasonable as well. If we ever need strings in the future, I’ll call up Anthony immediately. Hire them!

My husband and I booked a string trio through Terra Vista Strings for our May wedding. We worked with Anthony Chen, the owner of the company. He worked with us for a few months prior to our wedding to help us decide on our song choices. Terra Vista Strings has such a large selection of music to choose from. You can request anything from Beethoven to Willie Nelson to Michael Jackson. It was really hard for us to choose. We had so many songs we wanted played and Anthony found a way to fit all of our choices into our ceremony.
Terra Vista Strings stands out for many reasons. They have great prices. They are very punctual and always respond within 24 hours. And their music… I can’t say enough about how beautifully Anthony and the other musicians played at our wedding.
Other than the music, what I love most about Terra Vista Strings is that they make it so easy for the bride to focus on the most important thing, her wedding. The music was taken care of so far in advance that I didn’t even have to think about it again until I heard it on my wedding day. If I ever plan another event where I need musicians to play, I will absolutely return to Terra Vista Strings!

You can reserve as many or as few players as you want and Anthony Chen who arranges everything is very easy to work with and very accommodating.
They are very reasonably priced and well worth the money.
Terra Vista Strings played two special pieces for me and one special piece for my husband and worked with us to create a good playlist for the rest of the ceremony.
I got to walk down the aisle to Final Fantasy VII music! And our recessional music was from The Lord of the Rings: D And then they played my Final Fantasy music again!!! It was so amazing and their playing was so beautiful!
They made all of my musical dreams come true!
Also, my husband and I met with Anthony Chen some months before our wedding to hammer out the details and get comfortable. Anthony knew the location of our ceremony very well and helped suggest set up and drew a map for me of the bridal path.
He also recommended to us our chaplain who did an outstanding job at our ceremony!
