Comedy show is a complete joke. They literally hire people off the streets to tell jokes no one laughs at. Awkward at times. Bands are okay. Place won’t last past 2016.

After reading the press for this place I was excited to visit, The building itself is a super cool space with nice architecture but unfortunately it stops there. The new owner touted in numerous press releases that I had read before visiting on how they were going to create this fantastic «Live» music venue with live music all the time. Well honestly both of my visits there were extremely disappointing. They have had loud DJ’s both times which is not what I consider to be live music by any stretch of the imagination. Secondly, it was stated they were going to create a music venue as «Iconic as Antone’s «and I just don’t see it.
Ownership also stated in the press that they were expert «marketers and promoters» but I have tried on more than one occasion to look at their calendar and there is no listings? I then called and asked who’s playing and they had a DJ again with a band to follow and they had no Idea what type of music the band played? I have no clue on how to run a bar or be a promoter, but I do know that if you can’t get past posting a decent calendar (or any calendar for that matter) I don’t see how you can tout your promotional skills to the public. Every new business deserves second and third chances in my opinion, and I will surly give this one it’s share, but they need to back up what they say in their press releases or take them off of their website.
They get 2 stars for great drinks and atmosphere.

Downtown resident and second time at Tellers… 1^st time found the secret door downstairs and had amazing cocktails!
Today, just walking by… the manager invited my daughter and me to come to Will Taylor’s Strings Attached 6pm Happy Hour and we are having a BLAST!!! Stellar sound, great drink specials, and oh myyy on the Barbacoa quesadillas. Thanks All;)

Sweet venue… Great vibe… Great Live Music.

Austin has been waiting for a bar/​music Venue like this forever. No one loves music more than Chad Goldwasser, and with him at the helm as Austin’s own version of Tom Cruise in Cocktail… this place isn’t going to be locals-​only for long. The word is OUT!

What a great venue! Bartenders are top notch and the acoustics upstairs make for a great live music experience. I caught Scott Evans ripping up a set the other night and the place was intimate, yet alive! So nice to know that this bar will keep the local Austin music scene thriving while so many other joints have had to close their doors lately. If your looking for a genuine spot to catch a great band and hang with the locals, this is it.

Very happy with this new addition to the east 6^th nightlife. A bar focussed on music, but with a lot more class than the usual offerings on this side of 6^th. Music upstairs, sports bar downstairs where you can still hear the music. Full bar.
