finally real boba!

This is legit Bubble Tea! They taste great and the place is always hopping. Only drawback is that the blenders are SOOOO LOUD, so it’s not the easiest place to hang out and chat. The music is loud, the blenders are loud, so it’s best to grab your tea and leave or sit outside.

They’ve really improved their selections and maintained their quality over the years. It’s now my new fav place for boba. Go to drink: oolong milk tea with baby tapioca.

Def. one of my favorite places to get bubble tea. They have a relaxed chill vibe, free wi-​fi and a huge selection of bubble teas. The location is easy to find, plenty of parking and prices are good. My favorite drinks are: Strawberry Black Tea, Thai Tea and Milk tea. Enjoy :)

Just ordered a cantalope smoothie with mango jelly and it was the tastiest and most refreshing drink ever! Not too sweet, just perfection! Love it! Even loved the chicken hello kitty character on the lid.

Over a period of two months I have been going to this bubble tea lounge and tried out 20+ drinks on their ever expanding menu. Some are quite tasty and some are not. My favorite drink there is the taro milk shake. This drink is sweet, creamy, and addicting. The worst drink in my opinion is the avocado smoothie, very clawy (sticky) on the palate. The powders that they used in all their drinks does help. Evaporated milk is not used, they mostly used powered milk or creamer. Cannot really taste the avocado in this drink, its just too rich and sweet.

It’s a bubble tea place, what can you expect? This place is a very nice place to hang out with your friends and family. Board games are provided which is pretty neat.
Consistency: — 1 star
Very consistent with the taste. Not much fluctuation when I reorder the drinks a couple of days later.
Service/​Price: — 0 star
I like seeing the same people who make my drinks, have a little chat with them and talk about random stuff. This place ALWAYS have new employees. Meaning that their turnover rate is tremendously high. Their menu is HUGE, and it’s ever expanding. no wonder these new employees as leaving. Price is somewhat reasonable.
Originality: — 0 star
It’s like any other bubble tea place, no wow factor that impresses me.

The service was patient and quick. They explained everything as it was our first time. They have only one size (large), but there is a kids size. Boba is chewy and a bit hard. I really liked how you could get almond float (pudding杏仁豆腐) as a topping.
Even though there’s only large, there is a lot of ice, so you only drink like a medium. No sugar adjusting. Cream Blastea (basic milk tea) was not too sweet, good with any topping (2tops = $ 3.97). Taro cream was normal, passion fruit green tea has strong tea flavor coming through, peach smoothie was very sweet. Place is clean with lots of cool seating. Free wifi

I ordered a taro milk smoothie with bubbles. It was so watery/​icey and just very clearly low quality. I think people should completely avoid smoothies from here they clearly aren’t fresh or worth the order.
The taro milk tea on the other hand is wonderful!!!

They have a variety of toppings to add to your drink and so many different selections to choose from. I love Green Tea and they have so much to choose from– from Frozen Matcha to just the flavored Green Tea! Their pearls are super soft and has a nice chewy taste to it. They also sell Fish Waffle Manjoos pre-​packaged, which means quick grab but also not sold warm. It was pretty empty when I went and I loved it here but the workers behind the counter were definitely louder than the customers! Wouldn’t come here to study but definitely will stop by to hang out with friends!

I recommend the taro milk tea, the avocado smoothie, and the fresh fruit tea. One thing to note though is there is only one size. They have a lot of different sinkers as well like mango pudding, egg pudding, basil seeds, all kinds of jelly, and of course your beloved boba.
I really like their shaved ice called Milky Flurry, which I believe is a real contender to Snow Monster. Their shaved ice is so smooth and the texture is almost gelatinous due to the condensed milk. I like their mango flavor!
They have some board games on the side, but they’re not maintained very well. They seem to be missing pieces. Lots of seating options inside.

This place is pretty neat and reasonably priced ranging from about $ 3.75 to $ 4.75 a beverage. I normally get the blended coffee drinks with the tapioca added so good.
I have yet to try the avocado chocolate smoothie. I debate this each time i go however I never get it. I mean I love avocado, an I love chocolate, It’s just some things should not be mixed. That’s the drink I am most curious about at this time.
Their fruit smoothies are delish I have yet to be dissappointed, An they have free Wi-​Fi thats a plus!

This is one of the better boba joints in Austin. They pretty much have every combination possible. Tons of add-​ins on the side too. The Durian and Avocado mix smoothie is out of this world! Came back for seconds and thirds.
Cool place to just chill and talk. In addition to Jenga, they also have a bunch of free board games on the side. Seating arrangements are adequate but I feel like the seats aren’t conducive to board games. Some of them kind of sink a little bit so the tables are up to your chest.
There’s ample parking since its located in a townsquare mall settling. Good friendly service as well. I was going no-​sugar for a while and they accommodated to my request without hesitation.

This is between Chipotle and Starbucks. They allow people to bring other food and drink so if you have friends who doesn’t fancy their drinks, they can get something from starbucks and still hang out with you inside.
They have lots of board games. Seating is adequate. I come here on weeknights and weekend evenings and am always able to snag a seat with table.
Try their tiny fish shaped cakes it tastes like waffle with cream inside. All the drinks are good. They have fresh juice too.

This place is usually crowded whenever I come, so I usually just order tapioca and leave. But I was craving for some snow ice this time around, and wanted to try something other than snow monster now that they’ve changed their pricing structure. I was pleasantly surprised. For ~$ 6, the portions were huge. My friend and I split this order and were really satisfied (full) afterwards.
But when I don’t get snow ice, I usually get their tapioca cream tea. If you’ve ever been to Houston, it’s basically the same as The Teahouse. But this place is cooler because it has board games. You can even bring in board game to exchange for a free drink. Pretty nifty.

I’ve only ever ordered the Thai iced tea with boba and every time it’s delicious. There has never been anywhere to sit because they are always so busy so I don’t get to hang out and people-​watch. But the atmosphere seems fun and inviting and the drinks are spot on every time. Glad to see there’s a new Round Rock location!

Awesome place to go. I walked in not knowing anything about the place but the workers were extremely helpful and directed me to a drink that I ended up loving!

I’d hate to do this. But I’m annoyed. I’ve been here a few times –checked in on Unilocal quite a bit to get the 15% off my order. I keep coming back because my child likes tea and tapioca «bubbles» and they cater to his taste — the teas are very «watered down» perfect for a child right? So, last Saturday they messed up my order for the first time. I got 3 to go and they gave me 4. 2 of my 3 were the wrong tea but the sticker had my name on it. I didn’t check it right away because it was so busy and I checked it outside (away from the chaos). I tried to go back to tell them and to return the 4^th tea but it was too packed and they were too busy so I kept it (the 4^th one «Nancy’s tea» was probably wrong anyways — so I practically spared her from getting annoyed– lucky her!!). I went back today again for the same reason as I have in the past (I can give my child watered down tea, yeah I’ve established that), they messed up my order AGAIN! I got 3, 2 of my 3 were the wrong ones. I didn’t think to check because I was in a rush and I figured it was practically dead in there that they would get my order right, right?! WRONG. I didn’t go back because I have very limited time and had to be somewhere. I just decided to never go back again.
Anyways, the non milk plain teas tastes very syrupy and watered down even with NO ice. Even though they have told me that it’s «pure tea». It’s like drinking flavored water. Even getting plain green or black tea, it’s like 95% water and 5% powder or «tea». Today my tea tasted like straight up high fructose corn syrup, ugh! *puke*. I’m not coming back ever again!

This is a nice tapioca place in austin. The atmosphere is friendly & vibrant. They have a spacious area for people to hangout but there are not that many tables. They have a variety of drink options with tapioca. Their service is speedy & courteous. They have games for you to play. A good hangout spot.

I ended up not liking tapioca but they make some delicious drinks!
There are so many flavors, drinks, add ins, and such. I seen basil seeds, they look like tiny clear hairy creatures! They’ve got it all!
I am obsessed with the caramel coffee with ice cream. It’s so creamy and smooth. I got it iced not blended.
I came back and tried the #1 cream tea. Wow. The tea is exceptional. Iced with the cream is just amazing. A perfect, cool, almost silky drink!
The price is so right. I got 2 delicious drinks for 5.99 with tax. Check in and get that discount!

The drink menu is very similar (if not the same) as Teahouse. I’ve always been a fan of the champagne grape cream blend at Teahouse so I decided to order it here also. Yup, tastes the same! My husband loves their café sua da here — strong! You can pretty much compare it to Lee’s café sua da. We went here twice in the same weekend while in Austin. My second drink was the honeydew cream blend… kinda watery, but still good. Cream blends=smoothies for those that are not familiar. Service is iffy, but I’m here for their drinks! Their tapioca balls are consistent!

I’ve been here twice and it is easily the best boba tea place in Austin! I’ve been to quite a few tea places here and this place is on par with some really great places I’ve been to in LA. The tea tastes great and the boba and lychee gel are good quality and great tasting. I’ve had the lychee green tea, passion fruit green tea, and matcha milk tea and they’re all so good! The service is very friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be that the selection of green tea is a little small but they cover all the basic flavors and you really can’t get better tasting than this in Austin. Try it out if you get the chance to! You won’t regret it!

I Love Love Love this place! Fast service, clean, and tons of tasty drinks to choose from! I’ve only had their frozen matcha green tea but I’m sure the other ones are just as good!

How have I forgotten to write a review for this place? I’ve been here probably a hundred times! (I live just down the street, so it’s a convenient stop.) If I’d just remember to check-​in while here, I’d probably be the duchess of the place or something. (Or not — Errol could probably give me a run for the money here.) ;)
Anyway, I love all of the flavor selections here. I tend to lean toward the cream teas, and my favorites are the coconut cream green tea, and the chai, almond, and hazelnut cream teas. I tend to always order them with tapioca pearls, as well.
Service is hit or miss — there are days where the stars align and I get my drink within 2 minutes of ordering. Other times, there’s a line nearly out the door, and the kids behind the counter are not in sync, and wait times can get a little crazy. I try to avoid coming during peak times, as this place can be a bit of a mad-​house.
I usually get my drink to go because the music is fairly loud in here, and there’s usually a line of people, so it’s difficult to read/​do any work/​carry on a conversation.
The drinks are 5 stars, the ambiance is 3 stars, so we’ll average this out to 4 stars. Yum!

Great boba, a ton of flavors variety and types of drinks available. Cute sponge cake fish cakes that make the restaurant smell heavenly.
Favorite thing to get is the Taro Cream Blend with baby tapioca! Coffee drinks are delicious too. i definitely skip Starbucks when I’m in this shopping center!

We are Asian and from California. This meant that I could only drink so much coffee before I had to satisfy my craving for boba. I was happy to see that there was a fairly highly rated boba tea shop near us so we drove over there to get our fix! It looked just like the many boba shops in California! Felt like home for a moment! Their menu is pretty extensive but they serve up the usual stuff except that they have different names for things. For example, milk tea is cream tea. Grass jelly is herbal jelly. We ended up ordering Almond Milk (cream) Tea with Grass (herbal) jelly and boba and a Mango Iced Tea. We also saw that they serve manjoo shaped like fish so we ordered 2 for a $ 1.00.
Our drinks came out relatively quickly and I was pleasantly surprised by the sizes. They were a good price for the amount of tea we got. I thought the Almond Milk Tea was excellent. It did not taste artificial at all and it was the right amount of sweetness. I thought the boba was cooked properly also even though I prefer my boba to be honey boba. Teapioca Lounge was one of the rare times where I did not have to ask for my drink to me half or even quarter sweet because they ensured me that their drinks were not sweet. They were right because it tasted like real tea and was not overly sweet. I actually put it in the fridge and drank it the next day and it was still good! I wish they had warmed up the manjoo for us since the custard inside was cold and hard but it was still nicely baked. You can definitely find excellent boba in Austin, Texas! ⁵⁄₅

I’m usually the oldest one here so it’s a bit frightening. These monsters (otherwise known as teenagers) scare the hell out of me but thankfully my baby face does not give away the years I’ve actually been on this planet called Earth. I have tried a few of the items and I don’t know if it’s my love of boba that makes me forget about the shitty day that led me here in the first place but all the choices I’ve tried so far has been outstanding. Prices are reasonable. Checking in on Unilocal gives a discount. They have stamp cards, you get a free drink after 10(?) purchases. Free wi-​fi. Can’t complain. They claim if you don’t like what you get, they’ll make you a different one at no charge but I havent had any need to utilize that and probably wouldn’t even if that were to happen. So far I’ve had the lychee, mango coconut & pomegranate options. All good.
Some kids were getting this awesome Snow Ice option which looked crazy, I’ll try it one day.

The tapioca is always cooked to perfection. There is an enormous variety of options here. The staff is friendly but not sure about how they spell some common names.
It’s OK they get the order correct and that is all that matters.
Its kind of pricey for a drink though but totally worth it you get a 16oz drink for it.
The atmosphere is fun and inviting. It tends to be a younger crowd hang out on the week days.

I love Teapioca Lounge. I don’t even live in Austin anymore, but I still think about it. They make some of the best boba teas and smoothies I’ve had. I would love if they expanded to the DFW Area. Let’s just that I’ve gone over 30 times.
Some of my favorite drinks —
1. Mango smoothie w/​basil seeds — So creamy and refreshing. Great real mango taste. The basil seeds freeze since the drink is so cold and give a great texture to the smoothie.
2. Milk tea w/​herbal jelly — Great option when you don’t want something too sweet.
3. Cookies and cream smoothie — Very good with mixed coffee jelly
4. Ice cream coffee — One of the best coffees I’ve ever had. If you thought Vietnamese coffee couldn’t get better, it did.
5. Milk tea — great standard milk tea.
6. Taro milk tea — could possibly become a new favorite

This place is cute. Good for bringing your laptop to study, but make sure you bring headphones.
There was only one employee in the whole tea lounge working, so she had to take all the orders and make all the drinks.
It can be busy at times. The drinks are pretty good, even if some are made with powder! BIG PLUS, I didn’t find a fly in my drink like that one unfortunate Unilocaler. Shoutout to the girl named «:)» for keeping it clean! The drinks are also cheaper than some other tapioca places. There’s also a mini Teapioca next door inside of Hana Market. That’s the one where they make the little chiffon cakes. Two chiffon cakes by themselves cost maybe $ 1.08?

Their boba is the bomb, their smoothie are super yummy and their lychee add-​ins make everything better. I cant decide on a favorite and when I am in the area I love stopping here.
The place is pretty small and usually packed, but the staff is friendly. You don’t go here for the atmosphere though-​although I have seen what appear to be ACC student hastily writing essays of to the side.
The menu is endless but everything I have had here is spot-​on so trust your instinct!

Super cute tea lounge with wayyyy too many options for me. Literally I think I looked at the menu for way too long. I had a mango milk ice (which did not come with mango– but with mango syrup?) Pretty to look at and sweet. Look forward to trying a tea next time.
Enjoyed the board games, but many are a bit old and missing pieces, might be great to refresh since so many folks want to play them.

This place produces wonderful and high quality beverages. The interior is comfortably lit and there is plenty of seating to choose from. The menu has a nice diversity of drink options to choose from. Service was nice and we received our order in a timely manner.
The flavors of the taro smoothie were incredibly satisfying having that perfect consistency and tenderness from the tapioca pears. Not being the biggest fan of melon, I surprisingly found the watermelon juice to be beautifully flavored and having the perfect level of sweetness. We enjoyed our experience here and will be back again!
