It’s Ban Lan Gen. That’s the traditional medicine to help with a cold. I have a cold coming on, and I’m taking it by the mega dropper. It has prevented a cold for me many times before. But, if the cold gets outta hand, I’ll go see Dixie and Devon.

One year ago I could barely walk and my pain was so severe that even sleep was difficult. Devon has brought me from the edge of insanity back to a normal life, with no surgery and no drugs. Not only am I healing in physical ways, I am learning more about how to «be» instead of always feeling the rush to «do.» This review doesn’t do justice to the quality of care that Devon and Dixie provide.

I developed a painful Tennis Elbow (lateral epicondylitis) condition and it got progressively worse to the point it was very painful to pick up a cup of coffee. I had heard good things about Tao Health Clinic and decided to to give them a try. Everything I read about Tennis Elbow told me it would be a long, painful path to recovery.
I booked an appointment online and saw Devon. To my utter SHOCK — after 3 months of pain — he basically worked a miracle. I walked out feeling amazingly better, and woke up the next morning with a fraction of the pain I had previously encountered. I followed his advice and within a couple of days, I had a dramatic recovery… pain went from an «8» to a «2» after months of worsening. A week later, it was negligible, and I resumed my weight lifting regimen. Prior to seeing these guys, I couldn’t lift my laptop.
Devon took the time to not only work on my affected area, but to patiently and thoroughly explain the physiology behind the injury.

What can I say? In a city that has so many options for acupuncture, and several really great ones– it can be hard to decide where to go. Dixie and her husband are true healers, you feel their love and energy as soon as you walk into the clinic. I used to have chronic urinary tract infections for years and was told I needed surgery to correct my situation. Surgery? Or a year and a half of acupuncture with Dixie. It’s been several years that I haven’t suffered another bout. You’ll never meet warmer, more caring health practitioners. Coming to this clinic will not just heal your illness, it will fill your heart.

Woot! love them. Dixie is amazing and you can tell she is 100% meant to be doing what she is doing. She takes her time and totally goes the extra mile. You actually feel like you are in the hands of a skilled professional that CARES. How rare is that!!? AND — results!!! I was amazed. You can’t beat it. i live far south and i am SO glad i found her and made the decision to drive the extra 10 minutes (that i can make phone calls in the car, anyhow!) for her superior care.

Dixie and Devon Hornby are practitioners here, and they are both amazing. Dixie specializes in acupuncture, and not only is she incredibly educated and skillful about her practice, she is also gentle, kind, and completely invested in her patients’ health and well-​being. I’ve been a patient of hers for about a year now, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.
Devon specializes in body work. I was having unexplained pain in my pregnancy, and medications, massage, and every other possible treatment had failed me. Devon’s years of study are very apparent — he located the problem, approached it carefully and yet without reservation, and with his help, combined with Dixie’s acupuncture treatments, I felt almost immediate relief.
Beyond the skill and conscientious care that both Dixie and Devon provide, they are also extremely flexible with their time, often accommodating patients outside regular business hours just to make sure their problems are tended to. While this might mean you may wait a bit for your appointment, when it’s your turn, you will be amazed at the level of concern and care you receive.
If you are interested in acupuncture (including needle treatments, cupping, herbs, etc) or body work (which may include massage, muscle manipulation, stretching, etc), please seek out Devon and Dixie. I can’t thank them enough for how much they’ve helped me.
