History

Established in 2005.

Structure Landscapes was created in response to the areas custom home builder’s desire to sub contract landscaping to a landscape company who specializes in landscape and irrigation with quality installation, landscape design and client relations while representing their clients in a knowledgeable and enjoyable way. Before Structure Landscapes we were wholesale growers of Texas Native Plants & Trees for sale to landscape contractors and builders in the Austin area. The big corporate nursery moved to town so we sold the nursery and went to work for the big nursery then on to creating Structure Landscapes. We still work for our builders and their clients and install landscapes for homeowners wanting to recreate their existing landscape.

Business Owner

Sam Walton started his landscaping career owning and operating Sam’s Groundcover and Sam’s Texas Grown Plants a wholesale growing nursery to landscape contractors and builders in Austin. Following his formal education at Southwest Texas State University now Texas State University with a BBA in Business Accounting he was employed in sales and client relations in the Chemical/​Refinery industry. In 2005 he founded Structure Landscapes and began designing and installing high end residential landscapes with a goal of bringing people and nature together. When Sam Walton meets landscape clients in the Austin area, he brings over 10 years professional experience in landscape & landscape design and horticulture to the landscape. sam@​structurelandscapes.​com
