Pretty good. Very convenient and the staff if nice. It’s in a Randalls so the ambiance is definitely lacking.

I’ve had the time of my life. And I owe it all to Starbucks at Casis Village.

(This is the Starbucks on 27th& Exposition, across from the Casis elementary school.) (I work at 35th& Exposition, so I come here when I don’t have time to hit Central Market or Burnet or Anderson.) (Hmm, I’ve never done a review with just afterthoughts & parentheses.) (You get that I’m compiling entries for a Starbucks list, right?) (I always get a Pike’s thing using my own mug. It’s $ 1.79. Refills are 54 cents. I use my Starbucks app to pay, but I’m pretty sure Apple Pay works now too.) (This place is a zoo from 2:15 — 3:30 when the kids are being picked up from school. The seats go quickly & they sell out of cookies.) (It’s easy to bitch about Starbucks. It’s also easy to bitch about the internal combustion engine. But everything serves a purpose, and I think there are better things to angst about. K, gotta go.)

This review is long overdue. I live very close to this Starbucks but will drive to the Northland or Far West Blvd locations to avoid it. There is something HORRIBLY wrong with their coffee drinks. Before stepping into this Starbucks in the Casis village I thought that all Starbucks were the same… NOT this one! I can’t put my finger on what it is and I’ve given them multiple chances. When it comes to their lattes I can’t tell if the milk is rancid or just scalded, or if they are letting the shot sit too long. I can’t even finish my drinks from this place. That’s not normal! This location is so convenient for me and it’s so irritating that their drinks are inedible. I don’t even understand how this is possible! The service is ok but, honestly, I don’t care if my barista smiles or not. I came for coffee.

Subpar CUSTOMERSERVICE skills, subpar SB drinks. This was my first and last visit to this location, hopefully the District Manager reads comments and provides some type of team coaching. Remember people you have a job because of the customer that is addicted to coffee, but there’s always another coffee shop nearby that will gladly take my twice a day everyday caffeine fix.

Two berries in my venti very berry hibiscus is not the business… The gal taking my order was nice. No name taken so when the drinks are ready you just have to be alert since they don’t even call out the drinks… Ehhhh I have had a better Starbucks experience, for overpriced beverages I expect an experience which I didn’t get here…(Oh well)

I’ve had better. A couple female baristas here are only friendly to their old-time regulars. I relocated to the area a month ago and have experience sub-par customer service. On several occasions, I would walk in and not be acknowledged while standing at the register. The female baristas act as though I’m inconveniencing them when I make a special request. Ladies, understand this: bad service sticks out like a sore thumb when your customers have been to other locations whose baristas treat every single customer with kindness and courtesy.

Friendly staff… and it’s a Starbucks. Here’s a tip: everytime I wear my big ass bright red lipstick, I get upgraded a drink size for free. So, maybe you should try it?

Just another Starbucks review from the average visitor. ~ INSIDE/OUTSIDE ~ There’s ~ 7 tables, with a large table for groups for around 6 people. It’s fairly quiet during the days and the music isn’t very loud, so it’s a nice place to get some work done. There’s a good amount of outlets along the walls to plug your laptop in. The busiest times are in the morning ~8am and afternoons ~3pm when parents are dropping off/picking up their kids from the elementary school across the street(Casis). So you’ll see a good share of kids coming into this location during those times. Good amount of parking since it shares the same parking lot as the Randall’s near by. There’s a couple of outdoor tablets under the awning, which makes it nice to enjoy the weather outside. ~ FOOD/DRINKS ~ Not much to say here, I’ve found it to have the standard Starbucks quality. And we all know what that means. ~ SERVICE ~ Baristas are friendly, and good at what they do. No complaints here! ~ DIDYOUKNOW ~ Nothing that really stands out about this place…

Often times, after I drop off my kids to school across the street, I strolled here to grab my coffee fix. The baristas there by now know my name and my order. They always greet me with smiles.

Friendly and efficient Starbucks without being overcrowded. Why the 3-star review? Simply, the drinks aren’t as good as some of the other locations. My iced tea/lemonade drink was significantly weaker with a lot less flavor. I’ll give them another try perhaps as the location is very convenient.

This Starbucks was the first Starbucks I’ve been to. It was a good experience! In the past, I’d always opted for local, independent coffeeshops like Mozart’s, Dominican Joe, Genuine Joe, or Epoch Coffee because I had the misconception that Starbucks would all have sterile, uninviting, bland interiors with less spirit due to its being a chain. This location was the opposite. It had an assortment of mismatched and sometimes comfortable furniture, good indoor lighting with big windows, and a community spirit. The friendly baristas chatted among themselves and to the local patrons. I was there on a Tuesday around lunchtime and people were coming in and out. They had an assortment of sandwiches, fruit, salads, pastries, and breads in a glass case next to the counter. The prices were average for Austin coffeeshops. I ordered a small mocha and it tasted good(considered average among my coffeeshop experiences). I found plenty of outlets in the area I sat in. The Wifi signal was strong, but downloading data and webpages was slow for me. I was downloading a lot, though. Maybe the speed would be okay for normal web-surfing. I have an AT&T-Yahoo! DSL account so the Wifi was free. This Starbucks is located in the North tip of the Randalls shopping center on Exposition at Westover/Hillsview. There’s a bus stop in front of it, too. There are plenty of parking spots. They have some tables outside in the patio, too.
