Talk about building something from the ground up! Our designer clearance business started out of our original warehouse location at 183 and Lamar. After years of operating on an appointment only schedule we grew our business to become a full retail operation; open Monday — Saturday.

I just got back from brunch with a group of friends who are always dressed fab. I’m by far the least fashion conscious in the group.
Everyone raved about my beautiful Kate Spade sandals and my pretty flowing unique dress — both purchased at Spring Frost probably two years ago.
Every time I walk into Spring Frost I am treated so very well. I am not a big purchaser — I shop when I need something specific. The amazing women who work there listen carefully to my needs — I tell them what I want to spend and they never try to up sell me.
I am not the easiest to dress because I am overweight and they can always find me something flattering and get me beautiful designer shoes to go with it. No, the prices aren’t DSW, but neither are the shoes! They are on trend and very high quality. Not necessarily the shoes I would wear while running errands but the shoes I would wear to lunch or dinner or any occasion I want to shine!
I love this store and am looking forward to going this week as I have a wedding in a few weeks that deserves a new dress!

Spring Frost is one of my favorite stores in Austin. I have found a number of unique beautiful pieces that fit really well at prices well below the original prices. The layout is really clean, and it’s easy to find what you’re looking for with the current size/​color/​clothing type organization. The staff is always helpful without being overly attentive, and they know their stock really well. I don’t always find something that works for my body type at a price that I like, but I’ve found enough amazing pieces here that it will always be one of my favorite spots (and relatively well-​kept secrets) in Austin.

Peeked my head in recently looking for a very specific style of shoe to match a jump suit I bought for an awards ceremony. This is right after coming from Buffalo Exchange. Wow, those «discount» prices were far beyond my budget! I’m thinking high-​end consignment shop, but you still want me to pay $ 200 for a pair of shoes!?! Yikes! Needless to say, I didn’t find what I was looking for. Maybe if I have a few extra dollars I’ll return with a little more enthusiasm now that I know what it’s all about.

Spring Frost is my favorite store in Austin! Today, I purchased a beautiful jacket for $ 20 that was originally $ 500 retail. I always find amazing deals, the staff is fabulous and knowledgeable and I never leave empty handed. I get my designer fix for ridiculously affordable prices. Great place to get a good price on mid-​priced designer merchandise. They have clothing, shoes and a small selection of handbags and accessories. The clothes are new and neatly displayed by color. The clothes are not the trendiest, and they cater more to women in their thirties and up. The people here are friendly and very helpful.
About twice a year, they have an amazing shoe clearance.

I will be coming here again and again! I think it’s one of those hidden gems. I looked at the reviews on Unilocal before, and then I was in the area and decided to stop in because of the shoes & clothing out front.
The shoes on clearance were $ 25 each or you could get 3 pairs for $ 60. Best deal ever! Well, I found my dream shoes and the spotlight was right on them. I had found these Diane Von Furstenberg 5″ platform sandals with dustbag. The retail was $ 298 which was awesome to get them 91% off. If I had more money to spend, I would have probably paid for 3 pairs of shoes, but was so happy with just the DVFs.
Some items are pricey but you have to know that they’re still boutique and designer items. You’re still getting a deal if you’re wanting to spend on good quality. I saw a lot of items on their sale price that were still over 50% off. They had See by Chloe which you can’t get at Nordstrom that cheap. Also, in the back were more shoes for $ 35 a pair. You probably just need to catch a good sale here if you don’t want to spend a lot.
From the previous review, I didn’t get the «middle age vibe.» I am 28 years old and my style varies and I just wear what makes me feel good. I saw quite a few dresses that I would have bought for work or cocktail hour.

The ladies who run this place are very nice but the prices are too high and the style is very particular — think middle aged ladies from Houston or Dallas. Definitely not for the younger, edgier client. Regardless, I live in the neighborhood and have been in a handful of times. One time I found DKNY tank top that I had just seen at Ross priced for $ 10 MORE than the Ross price. I probably won’t be back.

Here you will find an eclectic mix of clothing, shoes and accessories. Often there are designer labels at a bargain price, but it may just be a «one of a kind» item available only in one size. It’s like an upscale boutique version of shopping for clothes at Ross or Marshalls. I’ve found several fantastic additions to my wardrobe in this store, and the shopping experience is always a pleasant one.

Both my dress & the customer service get a five-​star rating. The ladies seemed very relaxed as they were helping five different customers.
My dress was everything that I was looking for — machine washable, warm for the season, long enough and looked HOT on me.
I did have to pay a little more than I wanted but this dress is totally worth it.

Named for the owner by the same name, Spring Frost is not just an exceptional resource for fashion fans on a lonestar budget, but also so dang user-​friendly. The store seems to be run on a sort of
platform– except in real-​life format where one can try things on. Some items are from last season, some are even over-​orders from current seasons! What! I don’t know how she does it, but I’m so glad she does.
Spring remembered who I was (and what I do for a living!) when I came in for the second time, months after my first visit. Also, let me say, I was there on that second visit after having recommended the place to a friend earlier in the day who had been, then texted immediately that a tent sale was happening. I went over quick as a bunny, amassed a mountain of incredible finds, left with a new designer wardrobe all for the equivalent of the original price of the pair of jeans I had in the pile. $ 300 jeans? Tent sale says $ 15. Lady, sign me up for email notifications!

I’ve been to this store several times. I always end up buying something and feeling good about the purchase. They offer items that have obvious quality. I wear the things I buy from this store over and over — not because I have nothing else to wear, but because love the items so much!

My favorite store in Austin. New clothing from the past season or two at discounted prices. I hate paying full retail, and as much as I like consignment, there’s just something about buying new-​new clothes. As opposed to new-​used clothes.
The only down side is not always having your size available, as was the case with a red pair of YSL Tribute sandals that came in at a size 9.5, which is not my size. I still cry about that when I think about it.

You can feel the positive energy when you walk into Spring Frost Boutique. Spring and Jessica are abuzz with hospitality and exquisite talent with fashion. They are incredibly helpful and honest with their merchandise. How they keep their prices so reasonable is beyond me.
I often simply take time to watch them and their customer service, as I learn so much about how to treat each woman as if they were the one and only, even when all the dressing rooms are filled. Their excitement about the goods in their shop is contageous!

What can I say? Spring Frost is the best.
I live nearby this fantastic little designer clearance house, so I’m able to stop in regularly. That’s the best way to find amazing deals at this shop– come by on a regular basis. They’re always getting new merchandise, and marking down older merchandise beyond their already amazing 60+% off retail. They carry designer brands straight out of Saks, Neimans, etc. Jessica is amazing– she’s super friendly and makes you feel right at home. She remembers my name and shoe size, so when I walk in she immediately has ideas for me, but not in a pushy way, more like shopping with a friend. Tip– Sign up for their email list and facebook– they do secret sales just for these lists!

Designer clothes without the designer prices! What a score for Austin.
On one of those rare times when my husband went shopping with me, the Spring Frost ladies handed him a glass of wine within steps after coming through the front door. He could have stayed all afternoon.
Love the fact that I am one of those rare women who do not like to shop so Frost and her wonderful staff do the shopping for me. I purchased 2 evening gowns on the first trip and when I came back the following week, Frost had another selection of outfits for me to try on. She figured out my style, sizing and colors. I tell her what I’m looking for and she finds it. How perfect is that?
