Soy Delites is a family business run by a dynamic husband and wife team. Creator and Founder, Christy Bell, first started making soy candles in 2002 and was amazed at how great they smelled and how long they lasted.

A friend recently gave me a sweet little soy candle from Soy Delites. The fragrance, «Midnight Fig», is completely intoxicating and can be enjoyed all over the house! Yeah, you don’t have to lean down and burn your nose to get a whiff like some candles.
Gentlemen, if you want your woman to swoon at your feet, this is the perfect gift. You’re welcome. Wait… do men even read candle reviews?

I adore Soy Delites! In 2008 I discovered them at the Pecan Street Festival, and though I’d never been a candle person, thought it would be interesting to give these soy candles a try. I really liked the idea that it wouldn’t blow black smoke when you put them out. Price wise, it’s about average. A little pricey to me just because candles aren’t something I spend a lot of money on. But it’s worth it because they really do last a long time. So far my favorite is gardenia, but I’ve also tried the jasmine and green tea.
The only thing I’m disappointed about is I wish Whole Foods would carry a larger variety of them!

I search high and low for good candles. I’ve bought cheap soy candles that smelled nice and were «aromatherapy» but burned a lot of soot. I love Soy Delites because they actually live up to the reputation of clean-​burning soy candles that smell great! I love the midnight fig, lavender, and ginger sandalwood. You can order them online and get free shipping!

These candles smell amazing and look pretty when burning too. I believe you can also return the jar to be reused! There is a wide variety of flavors, but my personal favorite is Pomegranate. The packaging is also very nice. Great for gifts!

My review is based solely on one candle, but I’d buy them again. At first it seemed to want to tunnel-​burn no matter what and wasn’t very strongly scented, but about a third of the way down the wax level evened itself out and started to smell DIVINE. If subsequent candles don’t have a weird beginning I’ll be hooked– I wish these came in large jars for big/​open rooms!

I love these soy candles! And, I can actually afford them! I always get my candles at First Thursday — that way it’s a little cheaper then getting them from a store front and I can chat with the owner. She has wonderful scents that are not overwhelming but really make your house smell nice. I bought my mom the vanilla scent candle when she was going through chemotherapy — she loved the scent and we didn’t have to worry about any unwanted chemicals (something we think about a lot these days).
