Smooth Solutions

It’s been 8 months and not even a word from them about my check. So I gave up and called them yesterday (left a message) to have them transfer my remaining sessions to the other salon that had taken over. No response to my phone call.

I was also one of the customers caught up in the mess when this company closed branches. HOWEVER i just let them transfer my package to Alite Laser (which you should look up bc they have great reviews) and i have no complaints. smooth Solutions did a fabulous job when they treated me, and they did a fabulous job making the transition to Alite very simple… the only difference was who saw my hoohoo for my bikini treatments, lol… why is everyone making such a big deal out of this? Alite is just as good, if not better, than smooth solutions… just finish your treatments for crying outloud… Ill finish mine tomorrow and im very satisfied!
sorry you went under smooth solutions, but thank you for serving your customers and smoothly transitioning us to another well established, professional business. If this business bounces back, i would return to them.

I have the same issue with getting a refund. This place is RIDICULOUS. After the branch I went to told me I had to wait 12 weeks to get a refund, and didn’t deliver, they now are asking me if I used a different name because they have no record of me being a customer! I’m in Dallas, but the number they keep making me call is a 210.
Anyone know how to contact the BBB?

Received an update via email today, after sending another email to the company over the weekend requesting a status on my refund. It isn’t good news. The letter basically says, sorry, we closed two branches due to the economy. What little money we have is going to pay Alite Laser to take on our clients who want to continue their services. If you want a refund, oh well, you’ll have to wait because you’re not the priority.

WARNING: This Austin branch closed nearly a month ago immediately after I purchased a large package. They owe me $ 650 and refuse to return my phone calls. When I get someone on the phone, they say their accounting department has my check ready to be sent, but they have to wait for the owner to give them permission to actually send them out. This screams liquidity issues! BEWARE customers in the San Antonio market!

While the facility itself seems fine, and the people are nice enough, it simply didn’t work for me. I went in for 6 underarm treatments on a special in 2007. The hair grew back in earnest after each time. Even after my 6^th treatment, which was supposed to be the very last, I have enough hair under my arms so that it still requires shaving every other day. So basically, it did nothing, and that means $ 250 down the drain. And yes, I have pale white skin and darker underarm hair like they recommend– still, nothing. Hmph.

I don’t really have any other companies to compare to, but they have always been nice and helpful. I’ve never felt uncomfortable. They currently do not have any males working for them. There is one person currently working there that is so scatterbrained that she cannot answer my questions. I’ve learned to just ask for certain people. My results so far have been good. I’m hoping that it will last…

Very shady. Their Austin location closed. They owe me over $ 400 for treatments I did not finish. They told me I would get a refund eventually but have not given me anything in writing. Think twice before purchasing a series of packages here!

I visited Smooth Solutions a company that specializes in Microdermabrasion and Lazer Hair Removal yesterday. I met the office manager and technician Terri. She was great and I felt really comfortable. Also I loved the fact that they dont try to force you into a contract. The office was easy to find on Burnet Rd. I give them a thumbs up…

I went today for a consultation because they had a great special on laser hair removal for the underarm area. A few years ago I had about 4 treatments so knew what to expect and didn’t need a big sales pitch.
The salesperson I met with alone in a room was a man. I had a few questions about about the bikini area, nothing crazy. So he pulls out a notebook with some hand drawn sketches and some highlighter marks. There are 3 different options depending on how crazy you want to get down there. The 3^rd option made him say the word «labia» to me! He was the last man that I ever want to hear that from. Ok, maybe no one should say that to me.
