This has by far been my worst experience trying to use a Groupon. And from the looks of most of the other reviews, it’s probably just as well I wasn’t able to redeem it. Not once, but twice, I have been sent an email either the day of or day before my appointment cancelling on me due to «equipment malfunction.» Both times I was told a representative would be contacting me to reschedule. No one ever contacted me, their local contact information is impossible to find(and they don’t provide it in the email or respond to email), and the 877 number only gets you automated recordings or to voicemail which also doesn’t get returned. The only reason I finally got rescheduled after the first cancellation was Groupon contacted them for me. Now, of course, the Groupon is expired, and I’m probably s.o.l. But who wants a whitening laser malfunctioning in their mouth anyways?

After reading the Unilocal reviews on Smile Splendor, I was scared. I prepared myself to walk out and lose the money I paid for the Groupon. I was wrong! When I got checked in, I was greeted by a cute, cheerful woman named Carrie(sp). She was very nice, walked me through the process, and I was comfortable. I actually told her that I had been nervous based on the reviews. She said she had been recently hired because of those reviews… so at least they were trying to turn things around. The gel wasn’t as bad as people made it seem(though you do drool when you remove the tray), and I was given a take-home touch up pen with my post treatment«kit». I have sensitive teeth so I was just careful not to smear the stuff all over my gums. You sort of paint it on like nail polish. The building is easy to find if you have a map(duh). It’s the Littlefield Building next to the Driskill and there’s 2 hour parking one block over on 6th(free). My only suggestion would be to either bring earbuds/music, or as we did in my case, Carrie played Pandora from her phone. Otherwise, it is so quiet and time can sort of creep by. If you want to take 315-minute naps, that’s the only other option since your head is tilted back and you have some awesome red laser shades on to protect your eyes. Anyway — I had an overall pleasant experience and I’m glad to see they cared enough to get rid of the horrible sounding person they had working there before. Plus, my teeth are now an S4(über white). Thumbs up!

The other reviews for this company are right on. It was a terrible experience and painful to boot. Squeezing a glob of goo for you to apply to your own teeth was ridiculous… it got all over my gums and left them white and burning for days. The staff were rude and barely acknowledge your presence. There is no way that the good reviews on this site are from actual customers. Do not use this business. Save your money.

Came here with a groupon. Creepy office and not what you would expect .Tiny room with a chair and do it your self whitening. Would not recommend to anybody. Avoid this place worst experience ever. If you have a groupon I would definitely try to get a refund

I had purchased a groupon for an in-office teeth whitening. Basically, you go to the office to do a do-it-yourself whitening with a woman that seems annoyed to be there, to be disturbed, and to be dealing with a customer at all. The office was literally a small room with just a desk, chair, and whitening lamp. Don’t expect to be catered to as a client. You put the whitening cream on yourself. You put the blue contraption that holds your mouth open yourself. You tuck in the bib/napkin in your shirt yourself. Don’t wear anything low cut, because since you will be tucking in the bib, you want a shirt where it can be tucked higher up so it will catch your inevitable drool. Also, if you go too slow with any of the above, you will probably get a dirty look. I even questioned if she was even qualified to do this since she pretty much did nothing but turn the lamp on and hand me water to rinse. Needless to say, I wanted to leave ASAP. If you are use to a professional environment, I would go some place else for this is far from it. Oh, and don’t bother calling. The number that was listed was no longer in business. What a way to ruin a perfectly good day.

Awful experience. Difficult to find with no sinage. The woman who oversaw my procedure cranked the whitening gel out of an application pen and handed it to me along with a mirror to apply the gel to my own teeth. After she was tired of waiting on me to apply the gel close to my gum line she barked for me to glob the gel on and told me it wouldn’t affect my gums or my lips. Now I’m home and my gums and lips are burnt from the laser.
