History

Established in 1983.

Shoal Creek Dental Care has been the cornerstone for dentistry in Allendale for decades.

Dr. Jenkins began practicing with Dr. Craig in 1983, who has since retired.

Dr. Harger became a partner in 2000 and together they have carried on the legacy of delivering great care to patients.

Over the years, we have added on specialists in periodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery — allowing us to provide ALL aspects of dentistry.

Most recently, Dr. Platson joined the practice and allowed the office to be open a larger range of hours to best serve our patients.

Meet the Business Owner

Robert H.

Business Owner

Dr. Robert C. Harger is a 3^rd generation dentist who received his Doctorate from Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska in 1997 and began as an associate at Shoal Creek Dental Care in 2000.

Dr. Harger has continued his studies completing numerous post-​graduate courses in Functional and Aesthetic Dentistry. He is committed to providing the highest quality of comfortable dental care to his patients.

Though originally from Houston, Dr. Harger and his wife Michelle, together with their three beautiful children, have enjoyed living in Austin since 1999. They are active and avid hockey fans. When not treating one of the Texas Stars’ players, you can probably find him at any one of the games!
