History

Established in 1980.

Our roots in Austin and Central Texas run deep. The Scofields have been in the area since the 1930s, and lent their name to the neighborhoods of Scofield Farms and Scofield Ridge. Although our current practice dates back to 1980, the Scofields have been practicing Law and Accounting in Austin since the 1950s.

Scofield & Scofield, P.C. is a law firm dedicated to providing quality legal, tax, business and estate planning, and probate representation and services for professionals, investors, corporate executives, and business owners and real estate enterprises. The firm features a talented and experienced team of attorneys (most of whom are also CPAs, MBAs, or both) and support staff with a combined history of professional service and achievement.

Frank S.

Business Owner

Frank E. Scofield grew up working on his grandfather’s ranch north of Austin. In addition to ranch hand, he has been a roughneck on an oil rig, a manager of PX’s at military bases, and an employee of Bob Bullock at the Texas Comptroller’s office. He is now an attorney and a CPA, and he is the managing partner of our firm. He is a former Scoutmaster and former member of the Rollingwood City Council.
