History
Established in 2009.
With a background in TV news production, Aditi Worcester first started to think about making the switch to Video Biographies after a chance conversation with her grandmother a few years ago.
«At the TV news station, it was ingrained in us to rely on the big names for interesting stories. Then one day, I happened to ask my Nani about her childhood. What followed was one of the most amazing stories I had ever heard. I was both excited to hear her talk about her life and embarrassed I had never bothered to ask her these things before. I wished there was a way to save her story permanently so that when my memory would start to fail me, my children and their children would still have a way to hear about her life and adventures.»
Shortly thereafter, ‘Save Their Story’ (Austin) was conceived with the realization that ordinary people have the most extraordinary stories to tell — and every attempt should be made to preserve those stories for posterity.

Family is important. So is preserving family history. I realized it the hard way — having said goodbye to too many relatives and loved ones without actually getting to know them… their unique stories and memories disappearing away with them. So that all I could remember was their smile or hairstyle… things that photographs can convey easily but that’s about where the conversation ends.
With ‘Save Their Story’ (Austin), the hope is to get people talking. Sharing. Remembering. So that the generations of a family feel connected to each other. To the past. To the future. And so that no story goes unheard.
