This review is for Becky. I went to many hairstylist to get get ashy blond highlights and till yesterday no one was able to do that, not even close. Becky did exactly what i asked for and i couldn’t be happier. My hair is an exact shade of blond i wanted and it is not burned out or damaged looking (my hair is verily thing, so its not hard to damage it).

Erika just did an awesome job with my color and cut!!! Short pixie, asymmetrical cut. Bleach blonde color that rocks! Really cool personality too! Love it as always Erika! Get her to do yours today!

This is the first time I’ve been to this salon. I wanted a huge change for my hair (going from long locks to a chic lob) and needed to find a credible salon. I actually met Frankie during a night out with a friend and he told me that he works here so I decided to do my research. From all the raving reviews and the informative website, I went for it and booked an appointment with Frankie.
The receptionist was nice and offered me and my roommate (moral support) refreshments. Frankie was so friendly and so great at what he does. I showed him a picture of what I had in mind with a few tweaks and he gave me exactly the cut I wanted. He was also very gentle at handling my hair. I left the salon feeling great with my new, flouncy, short hair.

FIVE STARS for Erika! Had a hair emergency and she was just wonderful! Sympathetic to my situation and just so kind. She colored my hair perfectly and the cut is EXACTLY what I wanted. She asked many questions to ensure she was giving me what I had in mind. It was the perfect collaboration. THANK YOU ERICA!
One note– the salon is GORGEOUS. However the lighting is no good. I didn’t know until I got home what color my hair actually is. The overhead lights really don’t do what Erika did any justice. Please management– change up the lighting.

Guess who got an amazing haircut from here? This girl! Kate was my stylist. I was nervous because I was getting my first, pretty edgy, undercut. I wanted a portion of my hair shaved. She created a hairstyle that is very versatile. When styled a particular way you can’t even tell it is shaved anywhere, but style it another way… BAM an awesome edgy hairstyle. My over-​processed hair hasn’t looked/​felt this great in a long time! Aside from the haircut, the shampoo and styling were amazing too! They also have a lot awesome products. They have Kevin Murphy here! The salon is very clean, trendy, and has a great vibe. The other customers seem happy and comfortable. I’ll be returning soon!

I am so glad I found this cute little salon in Austin! I just had my hair colored by Taylor and I couldn’t be happier.
He is a master of his craft and a true artist. I came in to have highlights and a base bump. Taylor weaved two different shades of highlights throughout my whole entire head and then went in to color the hair in between the foils. The result is very pretty and natural looking multi-​dimensional blonde.
He was really fast and is a pleasure to talk to. Thank you so much!

They have this convenient info email which I used to contact them about seeking a new color specialist. I sent them pictures of myself, my hair and what I wanted and to match me up with the stylist best suited. No return email after DAYS of waiting. Guess they are just too good for common folk. I got tired of waiting. I will go somewhere that wants my business and values new customers.

I’ve been going to see Megan for almost 5 years now. I love what she does with my hair! I have coarse wavy-​curly hair that can be difficult to work with, but Megan nails it every time. One time I called last minute to ask if she could style my hair curly instead of straightening it. I’m usually her last client because of my work schedule and I know she wants to go home, but she sacrifices her after work time to make sure I’m happy with my hair, even if it means staying an extra 30 minutes after everyone else has left for the day. Im so glad I found her when I moved to Austin!

I have gone to Megan for 5 years for my cuts. She’s great and super chill. Contrary to another review on here, she has never once cancelled an appointment (I get a cut about every 6 weeks) and has gone out of her way to fit me in when I needed a last minute cut but didn’t have an appointment booked. I have very thin hair and she cuts it so well it doesn’t look thin. I keep it in a pixie cut so I don’t trust my hair to just anyone. I live nearly in Cedar Park and she’s worth the drive :)

I went to Megan for years because she does a good haircut. I would give her 4 stars for her hair cutting skills, but I have to take away 2 stars for her attitude and utter lack of professionalism. She’s über flaky, irresponsible, and will cancel on you at the drop of a hat. More often than not, she called on the day of my appointment and asked to change my time to accommodate her life. She doesn’t get it – at all – that this causes problems for her customers, or perhaps she just doesn’t care. I believe it’s the latter. Then, when you accommodate her, she isn’t grateful and instead takes it in stride – no big deal – because she expects her customers to accommodate her. She acts as if she’s doing you a favor by cutting your hair, rather than valuing you as a paying customer.
Taken together with the attitude at the front desk, I’m over it. There are plenty of good hair dressers and salons in town, so unless you like being jerked around by a flake and treated in a condescending manner by a receptionist, keep looking. All this attitude? Ain’t nobody got time fo dat.

Updated: I posted my previous review after trying to call the salon with no answer but today I had a reach out from the salon. After talking with the owner Hailey she listened to my experience and agreed that it was a few and far between incident at her salon. I’m happy we came to an agreement about a refund and solution to the problem. Hailey cares about her customers experience which is a honorable trait.
It’s obvious by others reviews that this place has done wonderful things for its clients. It’s unfortunate that I had an isolated instance happen to me, but I hope these reviews show you a honest and good view of a local Austin business.

I’ve been going to Megan for awhile now. I have very curly hair and she is a genius with it. She has always done a beautiful job!
She has never made me feel bad about my crazy home dye jobs either.

I absolutely love this salon. I went in with one of the most challenging hair transformations and my stylist Taylor really worked well with me and listened to what I wanted. I was going from dark black to silver/​platinum hair and I received the best service all day.

If you are in need of an expert at color, Becky is your girl. I got a bad balayage at another salon, came to Becky panicked, and she fixed my hair to a perfect T in no time. I came back to her when I felt brave enough to try color again, and she knocked it out of the park. Not only does she know what she’s doing, she’s kind, fun & engaging all the while. I will not do color with anyone else in Austin other than Becky.

I can’t believe I haven’t updated my review for Hailey and the salon in years. WTF is wrong with me?!
Still going to see Hailey. I don’t hair cheat. Don’t do it, people. If you hair cheat, you will end up with the hair equivalent of an STD. What’s that, you ask? So when you cheat, you get herpes. When you hair cheat, you get shitty looking hair and potential PTSD. So I’m hair loyal to Hailey and I look fabulous as a result of my loyalty.
Salon is kept up well and clean and well-​lit. They do a great job of upkeep here!
Never have a problem with parking.
They carry Kevin Murphy products now, which I am in love with and can’t believe I used to live without.

I love my stylist, Megan. I have been going to this salon and stylist for the past 4 years. I think you have to pay for a good haircut so the $ 75 price tag does not bother me. Scheduling is convenient and may be done online, by telephone, or in person. All staff are friendly and accommodating.
I get complimentary bang trims but best of all my stylist is great. She always listens to me and cautions me about styles. She know I don’t like a lot if styling effort, which she keeps in mind when cutting my hair. Additionally, she is great to talk to. I am always comfortable and happy to catch up with her.

It’s been 10 years and Stewart never ceases to amaze me. I can show him a picture or describe what I think I want to look like and voila! I have an amazing cut. The best part is that my hair continuously looks great in between cuts.
I have super curly hair (half filipina, half black) and Stewart was a Godsend after two painful cuts at two other salons in Austin. I first met Stewart at Toni and Guy at Barton Creek Mall. He fixed the Christmas tree/​mullet cut I had, where the first inexperienced stylist cut into my curls, stacking them like crazy leaving me with a triangle. The second stylist cut into the «lower branches» leaving me with a mullet. Third times a charm, Stewart worked his magic and made me look like Halle Berry!
I was in the military and was stationed overseas. I was accommodated when I came stateside for temporary duty and again in between moves, so not only are the haircuts worth writing home about, the customer service will keep you coming back.
My latest cut is probably my most favorite. After 8 years in the military, it was time to scratch my rebel itch. Stewart styled the most awesome asymmetric undercut! You know you’re in the right place doing the right thing when it takes a coin toss to see who’s more excited, you or your stylist. Bonnie added the cherry (blueberry rather) on top by giving me blue highlighted bangs. I LOVE my hair!

This place has SAVED THE DAY for me 2 times now. Taylor is awesome. He listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I was asking for. My highlights look great. He is super nice and I really felt heard. Stewart is awesome as well. He cut my bangs and I am very happy with the overall look. These guys are awesome! Every time I go to Salon Intuitions, they welcome me and offer me a glass of wine and treat me like a guest. Their customer service is impeccable. Their pricing is also very reasonable, especially compared to other salons in the area. I highly recommend Salon Intuitions!
