I have known Denise for over 15 years and had the pleasure of personally watching her teach her art classes (even doing some teaching myself under her employ). That said I can tell you teaching children is a SKILL. I was always amazed at her grace and poise while teaching and her gentleness when getting excited kids back on track with the lesson in hand. I learned SO MUCH while watching her and can whole-​heartedly recommend her without any reservation. Denise will help find and grow the artist inside your child and even offers classes to the budding adult artist. If you are looking for an enriching art program headed by a talented and patient teacher then look no further; your search is over:)

Love. Love. Love the Sacred Arts Studio & Gallery. Even better my daughter LOVES it too. Ms. Denise Dews obviously has a passion for what she does and is absolutely WONDERFUL with children. Ms. Denise is pretty dang great with adults too! I’m so grateful we’ve discovered The Sacred Arts Studio an absolute Austin GEM!

Love this place! My daughter had her 6th birthday party here, and both my daughters take classes here weekly. Denise knows children! She’s excellent with her teachig instruction and my girls come home each week with a unique piece of art! So grateful for this place!
