With out fail, every time I try to schedule an appointment here, it is at least week before I can find an appointment. The PA and NP are great, but I have never ever even met Dr. Alamia.
On top of the ridiculous wait times for an appointment, the absolute worst part about this place is the unprofessional office staff. They do not treat me with respect when I go there and they carry a sense of entitlement, making snide, callous remarks whenever they have to do their jobs. It’s deplorable that such people are allowed to work in the healthcare industry and that their employers have not seemed to notice or address this unprofessional behavior. Their position is essentially that of a secretary whose focus should be on that of the needs of the customer, but they fail to meet even the most rudimentary customer service expectations.
I really believe that the office staff could be replaced by apes who would probably treat people with more courtesy and respect than the current office staff.

I can never seem to get an appointment with Dr. Alamia unless I wait for a month or 2 to get in to see him, which is fine cause his PA Ernie is GREAT ! He is so friendly, he really pays attention to you , very patient and will answer any question you may have, he’s the main reason why I kept going there. the reason I recently decided to stop going there is because of the staff, they are to SLOW to get back to you with any results, it’s like there is a lack of urgency to get back to the patients!
I’ve had blood work done 2 weeks ago, and I have yet to get the results back, I’ve called several times, and I was told that my name has been put on a calling list for the nurses to call me with my results and to give me the prescriptions that I really need!

I have been a patient here for the last 8 years. Dr. Alamia, his PA Ernie and his NP Adrienne have all proven themselves time and time again to be caring, professional and genuinely interested in my health. They always take time to listen to me and provide me with options and include me in the decision making concerning my healthcare. I am not spoken to like I’m a 12 year old. I recommend them to anyone that needs a PCP. His staff is caring and professional.

They prescribe anti-​depressants like candy here. If one anti-​depressant makes you suicidal, their answer is another anti-​depressant. If that anti-​depressant gives you a thyroid disease, the answer is two more anti-​depressants and thyroid meds.
I don’t know what arrangement «Dr.» Alamia has with Bristol-​Myers Squibb and GlaxoSmithKline but I’m sure it’s lucrative.

There are three in the group, and since I can rarely get in to see Dr. Alamia, I usually have to see the PA or NP. I prefer Ernie, the PA. He always takes the time to hear everything and evaluate different options. I wish I could talk directly with him when I call with issues, but I usually end up having to give my life story to the front staff — which I find a bit awkward given that I don’t know who I’m talking to and what their qualifications are to be taking down my health issues. Given that as my only complaint, I find the medical staff to be very pleasant. I would also have labs drawn somewhere else — I am a phlebotomist and didn’t care for her technique.

I see Ernie, the PA. He is fantastic. He is easy to talk to about anything and I feel he truly cares about his patients. I recommend him! He is fairly easy to get in with too!
I have seen Dr. Amalia twice. Once for a medicine refill so it was fairly routine and not much room for opinion.
I saw him a second time because the PA (not Ernie) called him in for a 2^nd opinion on the throat infection. He treated me and told me to come back the next day if things did not improve. So when things got worse and I went back the following day. He immediately got me worked in with a specialist so I would not have to go to the ER. Then he called me later at home just to follow-​up. Awe, that was sweet and that kinda care is rare these days.
So, I recommend him too.

Beautiful people, beautiful practice. I really love them. When I was in the hospital with serious injuries from an accident, Dr. Alamia called my surgeon just to make sure everything was okay. They quit taking my insurance and I can’t go there anymore, which really makes me sad.
