Specialties

With state of the art high definition cameras and the latest in video editing technology, I capture the memories that make up the moments that define you. Whether it be your wedding, a dance recital, or your band’s first gig, Rock Monster Productions in Austin, TX will be there to help you every step of the way. No longer do your greatest achievements and precious evenings have to be but fleeting memories that are destined to disappear into the recesses of time. What if your first dance as a married couple or that standing ovation could be more than just a faint recollection? What if it could be captured in such a way that every laugh, every tear, every intricacy of that Oscar De La Renta dress that you loved so much can be summoned and re-summoned on demand with just a click of a button? At Rock Monster Productions, not only is this a reality, but it is offered at a fair and affordable price.

History

Established in 2006.

Started off, doing short videos and skits with friends. Then we started doing our family and friends weddings, parties, and everything else we could get recorded. Then we decided, THIS is what we want to do with our life. We want to make video services affordable so that everyone can get there memories, that will last them forever. Now we own and operate Rock Monster Productions, with all the industry standard editing software (i.e. Final Cut Pro 7) and now we have several state-of-the-art HD cameras, lighting equipment, audio equipment, and all the necessary equipment that the pros in Hollywood use.

Meet the Business Owner

Jacob M.

Business Owner

Hi, I’m Jacob. I’m a writer/director/editor. For the past 7 years, I have submerged myself into the craft of movie making. I have relentlessly studied the Syd Field story structure and perfected his classic paradigm. I have also taken the Tom Wolsky final cut pro workshop to insure that my editing is on par with any story that needed to be told. My real passion is directing. I have studied thousands of hours of footage and made sure to acquaint myself with every technique in the book. To me, a film is a living, breathing thing. Every part that goes into making a film has it’s role and if one of those parts is flawed, the entire film suffers. With that being said, I have made it my business to master each aspect of the process in order to insure that the finished result is, without a doubt, the best it could possibly be each and every time.
