History
Established in 1998.
Linda Wurzbach, president, started RFL to realize her vision of customized support to all of those responsible for student learning. Since that time, RFL has worked in many states, districts, and schools. Though RFL works to address spectrum of educational needs, it has developed specialties in fine arts education, advanced academics, qualitative research methods, and beginning teacher support and mentoring. In 2011, RFL launched its comprehensive new teacher support system, Scaffolded Solutions.

Linda W.
Business Owner
As president of RFL and primary contractor to several state agencies, Linda has played a leadership role in the development and implementation of numerous statewide initiatives, building on her extensive experience in the design and delivery of training and continuing education for educators. Before founding RFL, Linda served as Senior Project Associate for the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), in Washington, D.C. There she oversaw committees developing licensing standards and performance-based assessments for beginning teachers. For six years, Linda was also a project manager in the Division of Educator Assessment and Appraisal at the Texas Education Agency, developing new standards and assessments for educators. Most importantly, Linda began her career and spent thirteen years as a special education teacher at Austin Independent School District and the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
