Manager

Denise Redden has been in the hotel industry for over 15 years and is currently a Freelance Event Planner. She has worked for the Sheraton Austin and Executive Meeting Center, Crowne Plaza Austin, and Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown. She has Bachelor of Hotel and Restaurant Management and worked for an International hotel chain in the Philippines for over five years as a Marketing Manager. Since moving to the United States in 1997, she has attained a second Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from the Austin Graduate School of Theology while continuing to build her knowledge and expertise in the hotel industry. Over the last decade Denise has pursued excellence in hotel sales with a focus in the SMERFE market and has served as the Treasurer for the Austin Hospitality Association for the last eight years. She is especially committed to professional and personalized service and has a unique talent for working with detail oriented people and groups. She is married and has two children

Recently picked up my four suits in which it was clear that they used a liquid-​based dry cleaning solution as the fabric was frayed and suits shrunk. Each suit ran me $ 600 at minimum. I contacted the owner, explain the situation, he acted like you didn’t give a shit, and said to drop the suits off and I’ll stretch them out for me.

Don’t bother. Went in to have sleeves shortened on a jacket — was told an «approximate price of $ 20» and it would be «ready in five days». TWO WEEKS later, after no word from the business, I went in on my own to pick up the jacket. Even with the receipt in hand, the employee had no clue how to inform me of where my jacket was, how much longer the process would take, and she was completely inept — to the point where I actually felt sorry for her. She ended up calling the owner right in front of me, trying to «figure out what to do — the customer is still here». After standing there watching her stay silent while the person on the other line kept talking, she kept clicking on the computer, and I asked to be clued in. She just stared at me. I got fed up, said I’d be back at the end of the week to try one more time and left. Miraculous: I received a text the next day that my jacket was ready — at the price of $ 35 for two hemmed sleeves, a two-​week wait and poor customer service. They get two stars because I got my jacket back. I will not return.

I recently redeemed a Groupon at Q Cleaners on Jollyville in Austin, TX. I discovered that a Groupon i Purchased was about to expire and contacted them the day before. I took items in one day past the expiration at 7:30 am and they would not honor the full amount, but only the amount I paid. They are very expensive per item. When I picked up a pair of lined women’s dress pants that they cleaned, they were not pressed with a crease, but on the seams. I’ve never had this happen at any other dry cleaners. I will have to take them to another dry cleaners to have the crease put back in correctly. I will not use this dry cleaners again.

the service was very good and they work with u when u need something back the next day. the lady at the front counter in the morning shift is exceptional with people and very friendly. the prices are cheaper than anywhere i have found in Northwest Austin

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! Very unscrupulous owner and business practices. They lost our laundry and screamed at us in front of other customers when we explained we’d attempted 3 separate times over a week to pick up our order. If Rick’s hadn’t been closed before Christmas, we would have never gone here. BEWARE!

I’m updating my review because after my really bad experience here the owner reached out to me & expressed his concerns about my experience and offered what I felt was an acceptable resolution to bring me back as a customer. I’ve always been satisfied with their work it’s just the customer service that left a bad taste in my mouth. I’m not giving 5 Stars because upon meeting in person, the manager with whom I had the issue with was there and kept acting as though she was the owner and dictating how the resolution would be handled. This again was irritating. In this age of social media a business owner & his or her employees must grasp the importance of customer service. I feel in this case the owner gets it but not his manager and that’s unfortunate. I will be doing my business at their other locations (a bit out of my way) but not the Jollyville location unfortunately.

This is a very solid cleaners. Reasonable prices, quick turn-​around. I love that they are open until 7pm so I can make sure to pick up my clothes after work. They sent text messages when your stuff is ready for pick up. Denise is super friendly, she works in the morning and brightens your day! She’s very very knowledgeable, over qualified!
Done some alterations a few times, and always seems happy with their work.

I used to come here when it was Go Go Cleaners run by Balli… I’m happy to report that the alterations and cleaning (specifically stain removal) are exceptional, still.
These pants, jackets, skirt and dress have been lingering in my closet, unwearable, and I finally bit the bullet. I pinned them myself because I wasn’t sure who would be in attendance at Q. I needed pants and blazer sleeves hemmed and a button moved (pretty easy); the waist taken in on two pants and a skirt (more difficult); a torn seam at the back of a dress fixed (invisibly, so more difficult) and a previous alteration (from somewhere else entirely) corrected– they’d taken in the waist but not sufficiently at the hip so it «pooched» out and looked like enormous flapping hip-​wings. Also I had some rust colored stains on that dress.
I was thrilled with the results. The lady who actually does the sewing was not present so I am even more impressed that she interpreted my pinning properly and produced a smooth result each time. The attendant/​clerk Helen was very friendly and professional, and offered to text me with the costs of two items which I worried would be more pricey than I wanted to pay. I have had fewer alterations done at other places for more money… but a total of eight pieces of clothing and several alterations with linings or more complex fittings– and all done invisibly, smoothly, beautifully, and in TWO DAYS including the cleaning (which removed the stains from a pale pink linen dress perfectly– and pressed for free)… I am shocked it was so relatively inexpensive ($ 124). Very high quality work, friendly people, fast service, and now I have several more suits and a dress I can wear.
