I have had pain and weakness in my right knee from an operation years ago. Prolotherapy on it from Dr. Fullerton seemed to work well for several months, but gradually the pain has come back even worse than before, and well in advance of the 2 – 3 year period he suggested it should work. It is, however, still stronger than before.

So I have moved on to try SUPARTZ® Joint Fluid Therapy with Dr. Randall Schultz, that is just beginning. Still hoping for relief without a knee replacement.

I’m so grateful that my friend recommended Dr Fullerton. I had a severe rotator cuff injury and could barely move my arm. I had prolo therapy on my right shoulder in 2008 and my shoulder & arm been perfect ever since. In January 2015 Dr Fullerton did a new type of prolo therapy called PRP on my left shoulder. I ruptured a disc in my low back and tried all the conservative therapies. No luck. Epidural steroids and still no relief. I eventually had a discectomy, which helped the sciatica, but I still never got back to 100% pre injury function. I was taking ibuprofen around the clock and still somewhat miserable. A friend of mine had had prolotherapy on his shoulder with great results so I thought I’d try it. Can’t hurt, right? I’m already broken. Dr. Fullerton spent a bunch of time ultrasounding by back and explaining how the prolo works to help your body heal it’s ligaments. I signed up and had prolotherapy done with platelet rich plasma. The injections were in and around the ligaments, fascia, and small muscles around my lumbar spine and SI joint. It’s needles, but not painful unless you’re a total wuss. I have to say it has been totally worth it. Started back with light exercise about two weeks later, stopped needing any pain meds at about 4 weeks. I’m now 12 weeks out and I don’t really think of my back anymore. First time in almost two years. If you are not getting better don’t write this off as a pseudoscience or placebo effect. After many years of severe back pain caused by golf and exacerbated by a car accident, the simple act of getting out of bed was a task. As a fit 42 year old male, I needed help. The weekend before I was slated to have an MRI complete with a spinal puncture, I ran into an old friend at a bicycle race. He told me what Dr. Fullerton knew and how he had regrown ligaments in his knee so he could run again. I wondered if Dr. Fullerton could help my back? So, I set up an appointment with his staff for an evaluation. The evaluation consisted of Dr. Fullerton checking for strength/​weakness stemming from the back. After, he took about 45 minutes worth of pictures of the damaged spinal area with a sonogram.
To make a long story short, I couldn’t have the treatment done fast enough. 2 weeks after the treatment, I was engaging in light exercise. 5 weeks later, I was pain free! It no longer hurt to get in and out of my vehicle, or to sit for extended amounts of time or even play golf! In short, Dr. Fullerton turned back the age of my back 15 years. If you have issues, get in to see Doc ASAP., highly recommended. He gave me back my life.
