Progressive Service Center

Poor attention to detail. Brought my car in after someone hit it while it was parked and ran… needed some body work on the driver’s door and wheel well, as well as wheel work. Progressive had the body and wheel work done and called me to tell me it’s ready, so I came pick it up.
Strike #1: I take my keys, stand next to the door, and attempt to open it. It doesn’t open. It’s one of the proximity keys that, as long as it’s in your pocket, should unlock the door.
Strike #2: I get in the car, turn it on, and warning light pops up that tires are under-​inflated.
Strike #3: I re-​inflate tires myself after driving it away (because, even though they’re still open, they’ve «closed» that part of the operation) and notice that on the wheel they fixed, the stem cover is no longer the factory metal one that matches the wheel, but a crappy black plastic one.
When I alerted the progressive representative he was apologetic but also said things like «well, our bay where we can check the tire pressure is closed and the weather has been changing, so you can either take the car now and bring it back or it can sit here unused until Monday» and «well, how would I have known to check the proximity lock, I’ve never seen that before, but if you bring it back we can fix it or you can take it to the dealer.»
Progressive makes a huge deal about, if you use their service center, they do this 1 hour, multi-​point inspection, blaahh blahh blahh, to make sure it’s perfect before you pick it up. They shouldn’t advertise that and not deliver…
The second you turn the car on, there is a big, blinking, yellow icon with text that says «Warning Tires Underinflated!!!» smack-​dab in the middle of the driver console. It’s unmissable! An insurance company sending you on our way with under-​inflated tires is ridiculous. And the comment of «how should I have known to check the lock…» YOUR JOB is to inspect cars after they’ve been repaired. That’s like saying, «how should I have known to DO MY JOB?»
I’m bringing it back in on Monday, and at the end of the day, I think they’ll fix everything, but absolutely no sensitivity to the inconvenience factor of having to go back and forth 30 min north before/​after work or sense that gee, if we advertise we get it right the first time, maybe we should. I wouldn’t have accepted the car back from the body shop like this, but evidently, they did.

My car was hit by a deer, but luckily Progressive had everything covered. I took my car down for the inspection and they gave me rental for the duration of the repairs. After leaving my car there, one of the service representatives, Trent, called me every week to give me an update on the progress and costs. The entire repair took 3 weeks, which was a little long, but everything went well and my car is good as new. I had a very positive experience with no complaints.

Very good customer service.
You bring your car, pick the rental, get several follow-​up calls and after a few days your car is ready and there perfectly repaired.
Even better, no hassling from the typical rental salesman what is a real relieve.

I’m really months late in writing a review for this business. When my vehicle was side-​swiped in a hit and run while I was parked downtown, I thought I would be in for a long and enduring headache getting things back the way they were on my vehicle but I can say most eagerly that the experience was easier than I could have hoped for when the unfortunate event occured.
Every one in the Progressive chain was both friendly and professional. From the initial adjuster who looked at my vehicle damage and accessed the steps needed to take care of things to the repair center people that both had my car repaired and gave me a very nice loaner vehicle during the process … great experience.
I spent maybe a total of 45 minutes to an hour of my time dealing with the entire process, they took care of the rest for me. As for the results, I couldn’t have been more pleased. The repairs they did were complete and top notch. I hope you never have to experience the type of frustration I went through on first viewing my vehicle after it was hit, but if you do I hope you also have the type experience I had with the wonderful people at this service center in getting things made right! The people are nice and I was allured by the ease of the process: don’t have to get estimates, rental onsite, etc. But the initial ease is not worth the additional work down the line. I had to bring my car back again not once, but twice. When I first got my car back they informed me there was a problem, but it wasn’t from the crash. I should go take it to my dealer. I did and guess what they said? It was the result of the crash. So I had to have it worked on again, and fortunately they covered the cost of a rental this time. But seven months down the line, I found out that my wheel bearing needed replacing on the wheel that got hit. Apparently faulty wheel bearings make noise, but of course it went unnoticed by me as I’m going deaf. Since it had been so long they questioned the timing, but how am I supposed to notice a sound I can’t hear and pin down when it started when the only reason I found out is because someone else told me. Thank goodness my other bearings were fine and I don’t drive that much. Even though they finally agreed to cover it, I wasn’t given a free rental this time. Instead it was up to my insurance coverage.

The lady who hit my car had Progressive so this service center seemed quite handy. They even gave me a free rental car while I dealt with my totaled car and didn’t charge me when I brought it back three days late. Really friendly people work here, it’s as if Flo herself trained everyone who works here.

even though i dont have progressive as insurance. i was impressed by customer service. recommend

I went to this Progressive location because my car was scraped while parallel parked outside my house. I dropped off my car at the location for inspection, waited while they looked at it and gave me an estimate, and decided to have their shop handle the damage/​repair. They provided me with a rental car.
The actual repairs took a little long. Dropped it off on a Thursday, and it wasn’t ready for pick up until the following Wednesday. Also, when I picked it up, it had some light scratches on it that had not been on my car before. I pointed this out, and they buffed out the scratches within twenty minutes.
Cons:
— took a long time for repair (almost an entire week)
— some minor scratches (that were buffed out) were on my car after repair
Pros:
— the repair done on my scraped car door looked amazing and brand new.
— the car was cleaned inside and out – something I did not expect.
— although there were scratches on the car, these were handled quickly and (as it should have been) without charge.
Note– right before I had to pick up my car, I locked my rental keys in my rental car. The Progressive staff at the service site transferred me to Roadside assistance, and within an hour, Pop a Lock came by and got me back in my car. The Progressive service overlooked the fact that I was an hour late and helped me right away upon my arrival
Everyone was helpful and courteous. I had a great experience.

Thank you for your service and your friendliness! I showed up 30 minutes late to pick up my car (and 5 minutes before closing) and the staff was just as friendly even though they had every right to be a little ticked off :)

Not impressed with the service at this point… After a crash, where both parties have progressive. I found that the adjuster only looked at one side of the story. And immediately made us 100% responsible… Where as, if they would have taken time to look at the evidence, its clear the other driver shared responsibility.
Now the guy who walked away from the scene GOLF CLUBS IN HAND is now claiming medical expenses.
It makes it hard to believe in a company that does not look at the story from all angles. Now rates have doubled and who knows whats to come. Hard to support a company that simply there to have cool commercials and not my my familes best interest…

To say it simply, I hope that anyone who slams into my car in the future has Progressive. Clearly it would be best if I never had to deal with an accident again but if I do find myself in another wreck (this was my first) l want to be able to take my car to this Progressive service center. They made a bad situation better from start to finish.
Such good service and attention to detail that I am considering switching my own auto insurance to Progressive. Thank you!

Progressive is the best. I must say, I have been with them for almost 9 years and EVERY time I call or have an issue their customer service is AMAZING. Some of my friends say the same. It really gives me peace of mind to feel as if something as seemingly complex as car insurance is made simple. I will continue to be a customer for many more years!

It is so nice to work with a company that has customer service AND their processes working really well. Just got my car back from Progressive Insurance for body work from my wreck a few weeks back. They were really good!
Treated me well. Kept me informed of status, and when I went to pick it up they gave me a coke to boot. I know it is a little thing. But so rare these days to experience a process like this that goes perfectly smoothly and makes me feel good. Thanks team Progressive!

I am a skeptic I must admit. I have heard really great stories from friends and some family about their experience with Progressive Insurance. I just had it in my mind they were being subjective. Well I was one of the unfortunate hail victims this past week and this was the first time I actually had to contact Progressive since I started service 6 months ago. I was prepared to jump through hoops, answer many questions, and get the run around. But to the contrary I was able to start my claim online and set up a time convenient for me to bring my vehicle in for an estimate. This was followed up by a courtesy call to ensure my appointment time worked for me and I was aware of the service center location. The day of my appointment I was in and out in a matter of 30 – 45 minutes with a favorable estimate and courteous customer service. Other than my son wanting to meet «Flo» and having to explain to him she was not in office this day I am a convinced and satisfied Progressive customer!

If you want quality with the backing of a major brand, utilize the CSC!
