Pro-Service Painting & Remodeling

We hired Phil Stewart to remodel our 1930’s bungalow in Hyde Park in downtown Austin. We kept the original layout of the home, but gutted almost everything except the hardwood floors.
The entire renovation took about 4 months. We completely remodeled the kitchen, two bathrooms, and opened up a half wall in the living room. Phil’s carpenter added custom trim work throughout the home, including crown molding, and wainscoting in the bathrooms and dining room.
Phil managed the job flawlessly, and had a masterful understanding of construction. He handled all of our last minute requests with professionalism, and was always available when we needed him.
We will definitely hire Pro Service Remodeling again for future renovations, and can’t thank Phil enough for turning our diamond in the rough into a beautiful home.

Really can’t say enough great things about Phil and his entire crew. We bought an ugly house and they turned it into a true gem with new wood floors, interior paint, knocking down a wall, changing some light fixtures, and cleaning/​staining/​sealing the deck. At the time of the remodel we did not live in Austin, but we still never felt out of the loop with progress. Everyone is easily reached by phone or email and responses are prompt. We will definitely be calling Pro-​Service again for our next round of fix-​ups!

Phil and his contractors did an amazing job of realizing our ideas for both these rooms. We’re especially pleased with the bathroom, since the difference between how it is now and how it was is basically night and day! The guest room remodel transformed our converted garage/​craft room into a splendid, warm, and inviting room for not only our guests, but also for us to use as a home office and craft area.
This isn’t the first job they’ve done for us, and all our previous jobs (a sliding loft-​style door and a new closet) were completed expediently, with good communication, and to our exact specs. Any time there was a change needed or we weren’t totally pleased with a job, Phil himself would make sure that it was taken care of.
After years of dealing with other contractors for various jobs, it’s wonderful to find one who not only works with our schedule and budget, but also works with a good crew that he knows well and he has worked with for a good long while.

I had a plumbing disaster that caused major damage to my house. Phil was the first person I called. He did a wonderful job with the rebuild, far exceeding my expectations. I got back into the house well before the estimated time that the insurance adjuster gave. He and his crew are dependable, professional, and great to work with. I can’t say enough about Pro-​Service! I wish I could give more than 5-​stars because Phil and his crew just went *above and beyond* all my expectations! It started out with a few projects that I wanted done around the house and just grew from there. I had the whole house re-​painted (walls/​trim), popcorn ceilings removed, deck replaced, old carpeting removed and then decided on a screened in porch and to have the outside of the house re-​painted. Everything came out beautiful! His workers were *extremely* professional and friendly. It was easy to communicate with him, he was always available or would return my calls immediately.
