Platinum Carpet Restoration

We were having some serious issues in our apartment with a roof leak. Our landlords had dispatched Tony from Platinum for a carpet cleaning from the leak. Upon arrival, Tony immediately identified there was no need for a carpet cleaning, and went above and beyond by immediately confronting the landlord and telling them the state of the roof. Tony came by the following day (today), drilled holes in the roof and gave us a dehumidifier to get the moisture out of the room. All in all, we’ve been thrilled with the help Tony has provided and despite the crappy situation we’re in, he’s done everything in his power to make it better. Thanks a ton.

I called and left a vm and Kenny called back within 20 minutes. We scheduled my appointment for Friday. John arrived and assessed what he needed to do. My carpet is 10 years old and I have 4 dogs, two who like to mark everything. I didn’t have high expectations as I have tried to get the stains out before and again the carpet is old. I just really wanted the smell to go away. I am beyond pleased! Not only were they able to get the stains out but John made that carpet shine! It looks brand new! It was kind of matted down before and now he was able to fluff it up! I am so pleased! Thank you again for being so professional and doing a great job! You truly restored it! I will keep recommending you! Job well done!

After moving in to a new apartment with my girlfriend. we noticed that any time there was humidity, or rain, in the forecast — our entire apt smelled like cat urine.
It was absolutely deplorable. The apartment complex had Platinum Carpet Restoration come out to take a look as their own maintenance people failed to find the issue.
That’s when I met Chris. Chris (one of the carpet techs for PCR) blew me away with how thorough his «investigation» was. After telling him where I’d catch the strongest odors, he not only pulled up carpets, but also checked underneath the brand new padding the apts had put in — and quickly discovered the problem was in the actual concrete flooring below it all. This guy was like the Sherlock Holmes of carpet cleaning. Seriously.
Not afraid to get dirty, not shy in the least, he literally got on all fours to let his nose determine where the worst areas were… not exactly the most fun thing to do in the world… but it was accurate. AND IT WORKED. Unlike the droves of others that came out before hand, Chris took the time and did what was necessary to find, address, and completely remedy the problem. He ripped up old, urine-​soaked tac strips, did some kind of industrial enzyme treatment (smelled AWESOME! especially after breathing in cat urine for so long lol) then went a step beyond and used some specialized sealant to ensure the smells didn’t come back. He also directed the apartments on other areas of the apt (not covered in carpet) where the previous owners cat had done it’s markings which allowed the apts complex the ability to finish the job off.
Long story short… we were blown away at how thorough, professional and informative Chris was and at how well the solutions worked. Unlike any of the others before, Platinum Carpet FIXED OUR PROBLEM to our complete satisfaction and saved us from having to try and get out of our lease. We could not be any more pleased.

I have been a client of Platinum Carpet Restoration for about two years now. I have a rental home with two cats and two toddlers and try to keep the carpets cleaned about every other month to make sure that they don’t get in too bad of shape. I have always been very happy with their service but just had the carpets done again by Courtney and was reminded of why they are so great.
Courtney had been to my house before and remembered what the service was from the last time. He made some great recommendations for treatments based on my heavy wear and tear. Although the carpet doesn’t look like brand new, it looks so much better after each visit.

I was staring at the subfloor in 2 areas at the top of my stairs because the cat had ruined the carpet with cat urine. I was forced to cut the carpet and throw it away, along with the pad. I was treating the subfloor with clorox and buying time until I could afford to replace the carpet. Then I found out about Platinum Carpet Restoration and decided to try them out. Kenny came out and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had extra carpet left over from the initial install and he was able to use that to patch the 2 areas. I was amazed! It looks fantastic and you can’t even tell where the problem areas were. Wow! I will use this company again because they did such a great job and were very professional. I plan to have them out soon for carpet cleaning. I’m so lucky that I found them because they saved me the cost of re-​carpeting a very large area of my home!
