Founders, best friends, and serial entrepreneurs McLain Harvey and Ian Cote visioned a transformation in photo booth rentals into a seamless experience for both clients and users. I am a Texas native who is passionate about the wedding and events industry. As a McCombs MBA, I know the local market and how to best serve our clients’ needs. My background as an electrical engineer and helicopter pilot in the US Marines gives me a unique eye for detail and extensive technology acumen.

I used Pixster for my 25th-​anniversary party. Marco was so accommodating and helpful in the booking process. Jeff ran the booth and had such a great & fun personality, everyone loved him! Our guests had so much fun taking goofy pictures and the quality was amazing. I will definitely use them at my next event! Thanks guys!

We had Pixster for our wedding and absolutely loved it! It made a huge difference to our reception experience, and we received many compliments from our guests with how much fun they had :)
Reserving the booth was extremely fast and easy, and Marco was very responsive to questions through email. Marco made sure that everything was in place and checked in with us several times until the wedding day.
The photobooth staff during our wedding reception were very friendly and professional, and not to forget Pixster had some pretty awesome props too! Set-​up and tear-​down were right on time and could not have gone any smoother. Be sure to get the sequin backdrop because the pics looked amazing! We highly recommend Pixster and would definitely use their services again. Thanks Pixster for helping make our wedding so memorable!

I couldn’t have had a better experience renting a photo booth for my wedding than I did with Pixster. The entire process was professional, friendly, customizable and easy. Marco was responsive and friendly setting up the reservation. I loved being able to design the photo borders myself online. The attendant, Parker, was friendly and professional. He set-​up on-​time, brought lots of fun props, and encouraged guests to sign the guest book along with their duplicate photo strips as a memento for my husband and I (even being sure to put the photo strips of the bride and groom in the front window of the scrapbook since I totally just left them on the table without thinking). The open-​air photo booth accommodated group shots, was easy for guests to use and looked really nice. Most importantly, the photo booth provided a lot of FUN for our guests and gave them an extra memento to take home. Thanks again Pixster, I can’t recommend you highly enough!

We had Pixster for my sister’s 40th birthday party, and it was a huge hit! The Pixster team took care of everything– set up, tear down, and even brought tons of props to choose from. They also brought special props to fit in with the theme of the party. I especially loved how you can create your own logo for the photo strip online, and how EASY it was!
I’ve been to many weddings, parties, events that have had photo booths, but nothing I’ve seen surpasses the technology and photo quality that Pixster has. My favorite feature was that you can send all the high quality photos directly to your email/​facebook/​twitter/​instagram to save and have prints made (no more tiny photo print keepsakes).

Had Pixster at our UT event and couldn’t have had a better experience! Not only were we able to customize our pictures and bring some swag for the event, the Pixster team also brought a bunch of costume props for us as well. Their open air photo booth made it really easy to jump in and out of photos with big groups, and their digital setup made sharing pics a breeze. Will definitely book again at our next large event!

Had Pixster for our wedding and everyone loved it! It was a great way to bring home more memories of the event.
The set up/​tear down went smoothly, and we didn’t run into any problems the entire night. The props were great and we got the photobooth add on of having the table set up where people could insert their pictures into a scrapbook and write next to it. We love the book we left with and all the pictures online we get to look at. So many great pictures of our guests having fun!
It was also always easy to contact Pixster for changes (such as the backdrop) and questions we had. They were always extremely responsive which was a huge load of stress of!
Open air photo booths are the way to go in my opinion and I’m really happy we went with Pixster!!!

We LOVE Pixter! We purchased this as a Groupon and I couldn’t have been more pleased. McLain was very communicative from booking our date, allowing us the freedom to create our own photo strip, to ensuring that they would be at the venue when expected. Fun props, GREAT service, and wonderful staff. Our reception started a bit late but the Pixter staff hung out after their deadline to ensure all of our guests were able to participate. Also received a link to the gallery shortly after our event, as well as a USB drive so we can have these wonderful and hilarious pictures forever. Thank you for giving that something «extra special» on our big day.

I recently had Pixster as a vendor at the Austin Ice Cream Festival. They were a last minute addition but I was so glad they were able to be a part of my event! Pixster did an amazing job at the Austin Ice Cream Festival’s 9th Scoop! We were so happy to have them and everyone was happy to take pictures! Totally different experience! I never realized how much better an open air photo booth is compared to the older, enclosed photo booths (that in this heat, I frankly couldn’t wait to get out of…) We hired them for a party and start to finish, they were consummate professionals. The photo quality was also way better than anything we’ve used — and we uploaded directly to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter vice waiting until Monday for a download link. Friendly people, great service. ‘Nuff said.

After using Pixster’s open air photo booth at my last event, I am done wasting my time with any other photo booth rental companies in Austin. The open air photo booth makes all the difference. It is so much nicer than the tiny photo booths you see at most parties. We were able to take awesome group shots since it can fit over a dozen people in the picture instead of just 2. If that wasn’t reason enough to pick Pixster over your standard photo booth rental, the images you get are so much better. I don’t know if it was the camera they use or the lighting they set up, but everyone looked really good in the pictures. Plus they had it set up so you can immediately upload your picture to Facebook or whatever social media you want. I thought this was a really neat feature and was even better than just having a strip of photos to carry around all night. The props they provided were great too. They worked well with my event and were fun and cool without being cheesy.
Everyone I worked with from Pixster was really helpful and professional. They made the process of renting the photo booth easy and hassle free. The people at Pixster were very accommodating and were quick to answer any questions or concerns that I had. They really know what they are doing and that made all the difference. Planning a party can be stressful enough, so it was good to know that I could trust the people at Pixster to get the job done right. They definitely cared about the success of my party and I would have to say that the open air photo booth was key! As far as I’m concerned, if you are in Austin and looking for a photo booth rental, then Pixster is the way to go. Can’t wait to throw another party so that I can use them again!

My Pixster photo booth rental was a really fun experience. One of my old co-​workers that is an event planner recommended Pixster as a great photo booth rental company in Austin. The experience did indeed meet all expectations. Everyone was really nice, accommodating and friendly and they acted genuinely interested in the success of the whole event. My party had a theme and they were able to accommodate that, to the surprise of my guests who appreciated something a little unique. The open air photo booth was also a nice touch, and it felt so much less claustrophobic than a traditional one. Also, I would say the quality of the photos is quite good, I would think they could make great mini favors at a wedding.
A photo booth rental is such a great addition to any party and almost always comes with great memories. Pixster made sure that all my guests have an unique, fun experience. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a photo booth rental in Austin.
