Phoenix Arising Aviation Academy is a non-​profit organization offering math and aviation programs for youth in 3^rd-​8^th grades.

We offer summer camps and after school programs in the Austin area.

History

Established in 2008.

Our Mission: Phoenix Arising is non-​profit organization dedicated to developing student interest and engagement in STEM, along with critical thinking and life skills, through hands-​on, experiential learning using aviation and technology.

At Phoenix Arising, we believe in changing the way students think about science, technology, engineering and math — and the result: changing the world.

Students learn best when:

* There is a positive physical, emotional and social environment

* There is a variety of learning options that allow the use of all their senses

* There is a continual process of «real-​world» immersion, feedback, and reflection

We utilize experiential learning techniques which unlock the potential for learning which has often been untapped by conventional learning methods. Through problem solving, troubleshooting, and hands-​on activities, students will begin to manage their own learning.
