Personalized Property Management

I lived in one of their West Campus units. I got what I paid for, no complaints. The unit was older and in less than desirable condition, but the rent was a good $ 200 less than similar places in the area.
After my roommate refused to pay her share of the rent, Jody helped me basically evict her without breaking our joint lease or anything like that. She was very understanding and helpful! Jody is very fair and very down-​to-​business.
Overall, my experience living here was what I expected, no surprises. I really hope they renovate my unit and upgrade the appliances for the next tenant, though!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this property management company. Owners beware. They find items to repair around the home that is not legitimate and then bill you. It is a owner’s worst nightmare to have this company manage your property. Jody Cook the office help is rude and incompetent. Even when she is pleasant she is trying her best to rob you. The owner Dilbert sometimes steps in but it is difficult to get hold of him. I was suspicious about this company when my friend told me they let section 8 applicants in who do major property damage. He was left with over $ 8000 in repairs.

I’m not sure what happened with the previous reviewer’s situation, but I have worked with their office for over a year and just signed a new lease again. They are fabulous! Specifically, Jody, the office manager. She is always quick to respond to maintenance issues, personally is a warm and caring person, and stays on top of so many properties, yet it feels as if we are her only tenants because of the personal attention and care she’s given us. Our A/​C recently went out and within an hour of calling, she had an A/​C repair man at our house to fix it. It was seamlessly dealt with and we’re back to a cool house in this hot Texas heat. A great company overall and will happily do business with them always. Thank you to Jody and PPM!

I STRONGLY urge you to choose a rental that is not maintained by this company. I lived in one of their properties located in San Antonio. At first, I thought I had stumbled upon a dream situation. Delbert Berry, my landlord, was nice, friendly and helpful. However, after giving my 30 days notice that I would be vacating my apartment, I never received my $ 300 security deposit. I followed the Texas Property Code to a tee and never got a response. After waiting for over a month, I contacted Delbert via email and he sent a response apologizing for the mix up and said that he was CC’ing someone in the office so that they could handle the problem. That was the last I heard about it. After never getting a response, I hired an attorney to try to get my money. My attorney called 5 days in a row with never getting a response, sent a letter, and still nothing.
