Was informed my oil change would take 25 minutes — it took over an hour. A technician attempted to sell me a pour of injector cleaner into my gas tank for $ 15, which is just insulting. alf of the engine body was covered in oil — apparently it’s outside the station’s protocol to use funnels or aim better than a 4 year old using a urinal for the first time.

I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped in to ask about a leak on my Saturn and saw that they were closed. As I started to leave, I was invited in by a shady looking character. It was kind of weird, but I needed my car looked at, so I went in. There were half a dozen people behind the counter sharing what looked like a crack pipe. I played it cool and got out as quickly as I could. Later, the weird door guy found me on Facebook and started sending me scary messages. This place really freaked me out.

This place was awesome! I needed an oil change and found this local shop near my neighborhood. I rolled up, handed my keys over and requested an oil change. 10 minutes later, I was told everything was done. $ 36 dollars total (which is reasonable), friendly guys, and the simplest experience. I like my oil changes to be drama free:)
Not five stars because 1) it’s an oil change and that’s probably never going to be a 5 star experience in my book and 2) the seating was pretty grungy. But then again, I was only there for 10 minutes. Great little spot for a mundane task.

Yesterday I took my truck in with strange breaking problems and in need for an oil change. They gave me a very fair quote on the break job, and offered to throw in the oil change for free. I left the truck and made plans to come back in a few hours to pick it up.
I got a call 30 minutes later from Glen saying that he got it all apart and my rotors and pads are most likely fine. He then referred me to a tire/​alignment specialist to have a closer look.
He put it all back together, and still cut me a good deal on the oil change. The guys are honest and they do good work, what else can you want from a neighborhood mechanic.
From here on out they are my first stop for auto-​care. Most issues they can easily handle, and If they can’t fix it, at least i know they’ll be honest and give me a better idea of where i need to go from there.

They were fast, but they murdered my oil drain plug, and they didn’t replace the filter which I paid for. I won’t go back.

I went in for an oil change after reading the other reviews on Unilocal.It’s not the kind of place I would ever go to had I not found it on Unilocal.The staff were very friendly. I told them I needed an oil change and they showed me the options and how much each cost (including tax which I really like). I gave them my keys and they got to work immediately. I was shocked when they called me up to pay and give me my keys back – I was in and done in 10 mins. I’ve waited other places for over an hour to get my oil changed.

these dudes are awesome! i took my car here this morning to fix the incompetent work of accent auto on lamar. they looked everything over and fixed the problems for me all for free. the guy who i believe was the owner was so helpful and friendly. i knew i should’ve gone here from the get go because of all the great things my boyfriend had said after taking his truck here for years, but that group on sometimes just seems too good to pass up ya know. hooray PDQ! i will be going back to get my inspection done here tomorrow.

I dread going in for an oil change, because it’s always the same old story. You walk in, tell them you need an oil change, and they tell you that you need a LOT more. These guys just got to work. Their sign says «10 minute oil change» and I believe it. Didn’t want to believe it walking in, but they proved it!
I try to support the businesses in my neighborhood, and this business is half a mile from my house! The owner answered the phone, was friendly and quoted me a good price (for my synthetic oil needs), and when I got there he remembered talking to me. Can’t pay enough for that kind of service…

Courteous, local, quite fast.
The basic oil change is around $ 30 and the deluxe was around $ 60. I got the deluxe and my mileage has been *fabulous* (older car, sometimes I don’t give it the TLC it needs).

Not bad, though I wish my $ 160 labor-​only estimate for front struts replacement wouldn’t have been raised to $ 290. That’s a big difference and much higher than estimates at other locations. It was lowered to $ 220 which I accepted. The owner or manager I spoke with was very personable; if he hadn’t been, I would have given them 3 stars.

Easy on the wallet and easy on the ear, these seasoned Caribbean mechanics are sure to melt your heart.
I’ve taken a bunch of cars here to get fixed up and they always give a great overview of the issues in their lilting tones and give earnest advice on what could be done.
They’ve fixed American cars I’ve paid $ 100 for and driven there while stopping every half mile to pour fluids into, late model Japanese cars, and helped me diagnose all sorts of things.
What I really enjoyed over the last few days is the fact that I’ve taken used cars that I’m thinking of buying to them and they’ve given me the low down on what to negotiate for and which ones not to buy.
They’ve earned my loyalty with their generosity and skill in the past.

I’ve taken all makes/​models to PDQ since 1998. They have great parts connections, but they’ll let you bring your own parts and just warranty their work if you find a better deal. I bring my own high performance oil and they bring me down into the pit if they need to show me a problem. They’ve handled minor maintenance and major service on brakes, engine overhauls, transmissions, AC/​heater, you name it. They are fast, no upsell pressure and the price is right. Bennie, Marcus, Charles & the guys will shoot you straight, please tell them I sent you!

I started taking my car here for oil changes in 2004. I appreciate their no-​pressure business model. They never try to sell me air filters or transmission fluid changes or forget to actually put oil in the car (Thanks, Jiffy Lube!) and on top if it, all the guys that work here are super nice and polite. Marcus (I think he is the manager) always explains anything they may have noticed in my car when I pick it up, in a very cool «You may need to get this fixed soon, but no big rush» kind of way. He really knows cars and is always glad to explain what connects to what and where the problem lies. I have been fortunate not to need any major repairs, but when I do, they will be the people I call. They work fast, don’t charge much, let me bring in my own parts, and haven’t ever surprised me with after-​the-​fact fee increases.
