Paws and Prints Austin focuses on location photography to capture you and your pet’s unique personalities and relationship. I don’t have a studio because I prefer to shoot in an environment that says something about your pet.

For portraits I will travel to any part of Austin, and even outside of the city. I have many friends and family throughout Texas (as well as some parts of Missouri and Kansas!) so if you’re interested contact me and I’ll let you know the next time I’m in your area!

In North Austin I also do Dog Walking, Pet Care and run Errands.

I went to college to get my BFA in Photography and I’ve been working for over 6 years photographing children, sports, graduations, events & weddings. I’ve wanted to start my own business for some time now, and nothing seems more perfect than combining my love of photography with my favorite thing to photograph… animals!

I grew up in a military family and moved frequently. My pets were my constant companions which has given me a deep appreciation for the unconditional love they give us as well as the joy and comfort they bring to our lives.

Growing up I cared for my own family pets, pet sat & dog walked for my many neighbors in military housing while they worked long hours or visited their families across the country. Additionally I volunteered at Roger Williams Zoo in Providence Rhode Island in a Jr. Zookeeper program for several years in my teens.

Now that I’ve settled down in Austin, I want to get back to what I love… working with people and their pets!

While searching to hire the perfect candidate to snap photos of our aging, anti-​social and spoiled rotten pets — we made a number of phone calls, read testimonials and considered the many on-​line Pet Photographer profiles. Michelle with Paws and Prints clearly stood out from the rest. Aside from her skills, photo expertise and qualifications, she has a gentle demeanor that is polite, respectful and kindhearted and we immediately felt at ease while corresponding with her by phone and email.
We agreed on the shoot-​date. She showed up on time, with a smile and very excited to meet our critters! Our grumpy dogs took an instant liking to her and she was very soothing towards their old age and crankiness! She offered great ideas for poses and positions, and she was also very receptive towards ideas that we suggested. She definitely has the right flair, patience and know-​how when it comes to dealing with people and their pampered pets! She has a natural love for animals, and that really makes a difference on the outcome of a pet photo-​shoot. She was unquestionably the ideal person for the job!
A few days after the shoot, she delivered the photographs at the exact date as promised. We were absolutely stunned at the results! The photos she took of our dogs captured exactly what we were hoping for! Absolutely perfect and we could not be happier! Her proficiency, talent and skills are amazing… oh, and her rates are great… unbeatable!!!

Perfection! Everything about our photography session was perfect — she was very accommodating as far as my schedule was concerned, the cost was awesome, and (most importantly) my pictures were GORGEOUS! I love my dogs and have always wanted a real photographer to shoot them — I’m sooo glad I chose Michele with Paws and Prints. She was so patient with my dogs (shooting one is hard enough… but two dogs is a real challenge). I feel like I will never be able to thank her enough for the priceless memories of my sweet pups. Give her a call, you won’t regret it!

I had been looking all over for someone to photograph my husband with our two pups for Christmas photos and stumbled upon Paws and Prints and am SO glad I did! Every other photographer I had contacted was either way out of my price range or did not really take photos with pets. Michele of Paws and Prints was extremely reasonably price and had some amazing photos of pets on her blog. The photo session was wild… due to my wild pups, but Michele was so patient and wonderful with them (and us!!). When we received our photos I was ecstatic. Despite them not sitting still, she somehow captured the most amazing photos of them (and us with them!!). She truly captured our personalities perfectly. I treasure them and will always contact Michele whenever we need more photos!
