Great place in all ways!
Sadly, I have seen how this store had finally to close. I suppose we weren’t worth it of such place. We, the people, didn’t stop enough so they had to close. I;m missing them already!!! :(

Pastries looked good but the breakfast tacos were NO BUENO. Potatoes were undercooked with no seasoning and the sausage was gross

The picadillo breakfast taco is outlandishly good here. So simple yet so much better than anywhere else. Not sure why! But to me it certainly is. The sweetest lady owns this place and runs it with her family. I love supporting her business — place is adorable, service is good, food is excellent, and prices are cheap! Great coffee, too.

Super cute! Great service. Huge, overstuffed, scrumptious breakfast tacos. Make sure you try all three salsas. I couldn’t pick a favorite– all yummy.
The empanadas didn’t taste very fresh to me, but I might try them again to see if it was just an off day. Because I will come back again.

This place is so well run by a family. They have wonderful customer service, friendly, timely, and the food is fantastic. breakfast tacos and other breakfast items along with the greatest Mexican baked items that can vary daily. Their café olla is the best ever! They also provide day old bread at ridiculous prices and will make special order tamales and tres leches and other specialty items such as Dia De los Muertos cookies ahead of time. Nice place and feels like you’re at home.

My family is from south TX in the valley, and this place is legit! The food is amazing, cheap, and the staff are so friendly! Try the barbacoa by the pound on the weekends and make your own breakfast tacos at home

This place is okay.
The good:
–It is close to our house, right off of Braker/​35
–The customer service was very friendly
–the coffee doesn’t suck
The bad:
–they don’t take credit cards but do have an ATM onsite
–they don’t make home made tortillas, they are packaged??? and they are NOT good tortillas
–When i asked about a cpl different typical mexican baked goods, the cashier said «we dont’ have a baker right now, we are just baking the easier stuff». That’s fine for some folks, but it is titled Pablito’s BAKERY”, so it seems a little silly to not have a baker or make your own tortillas
I feel nice giving them 3 stars. The food isn’t bad, but it certainly isn’t great and I can make a short walk to Vasquez, next door, to eat better Mexican food.

I used to work just down the street, and I’d swing by the bakery and pick up a bunch of treats for my co-​workers. Very fair prices, and tasty foods. My only concern was that I’m allergic to red food dye, and I ate something there once that was not pink or red at all, and it set me off– so if you have food allergies, make sure you let them know in case there’s any cross-​contamination issues. With all the tasty things with nuts in them, that might be an issue (since a red food dye allergy is one of the most random things ever).

I love love love stumbling upon a family run restaurant. I only had to chat a little bit to find out that Mom was in the kitchen and Aunt was at the register — and they were sweet and fun!
What did they serve — healthy, delicious food. No lard in the beans, lots of food for the price. Actually I think they gave too much food for the price! The migas taco was like an entire meal.
I wish they served beer and wine! I didn’t ask if I could bring my own. I’m definitely going back.

Really cozy place. Was greeted with smiles and ‘buenos dias’ when i walked in the door. I got there around noon on Saturday and most the baked stuff was gone. I had gone for the breakfast tacos though.
They aren’t playing around with the portions on the breakfast tacos. Loads of eggs and cheese on mine. I could barely finish the 2^nd one. They threw in some salsa and salsa verde which are both awesome. I’ll be back.

I am unfortunately, very disappointed. I was definitely looking forward to this place after seeing the reviews but, after eating them I have to say they are over hyped.
Pros:
–Cute restaurant, small but inviting.
–Friendly staff, they seem happy to be there.
–They bring the food out nice, and hot.
–Price.
Cons:
–Ugh, they over stuff the freakin’ taco. I’m a taco fan, but sometimes less is more. Globs of cheese were definitely unappealing.
–The egg tastes a little funny.
Now, I will say that I’d still like to some of their pastries, the selection looked very delicious. Nice place, but it just wasn’t what it was hyped up to be.

Migas Tacos and some sweet potato empanada were B-​Fast on Saturday. Hit the spot well.
Clean, friendly, English or Spanish, and tasty.
Tacos made fresh to order. Need to try more.

Some MASSIVE breakfast tacos. I ordered three of them not realizing how large they would be and could barely eat 1.5 of them.

This is a family owned business on East Braker across the street from Vazquez. I have been stalking this Vazquez for months because I wanted to compare it to the one on Burnett/​183. No go, as parking is limited and it’s always packed. I found Pablito’s by accident, and, I am one happy adventurer. The store is small but clean, and, the service is outstanding! Reminds me of the guy at Donut Taco Palace III. They offer breakfast taco’s starting at $ 1.74, limited breakfast plates, lunch taco’s at $ 2.59, gorditas, tortas, and limited lunch plates. Thursdays and Fridays are enchilada specials. On weekends they offer homemade tamales of the puerco, pollo and rajas con queso kind. Here’s a deduction; if you order the tamales, they charge for salsa! One tamal is $ 1.25 plus $ 0.50 for the salsa. 10 tamales are $ 9.99 and $ 10.75 with the salsa!!! Salsa is free anywhere in this city, and, IMHO, the salsa here is not that good. It would compare equally with that at Vazquez. I have been here several times and my food and service have remained consistent. They make their breads fresh, and, they are delicious! All the food orders are made fresh, so expect a little wait time. It’s worth it, and, they give you chips and salsa to nosh on. I love the al pastor torta, but, it could use a little more meat. I’m sure if I request that, they will accommodate. They also offer fresh pastries and donuts and cakes. Not my thing, personally, so I didn’t give them much attention. I did note they offer vegan pastries. I highly recommend this little gem. You will be impressed, I’m sure.

The tamales here are small, but good. You have to call first to make sure they are still available (first come, first serve basis) unless you want to place an order a day ahead.
I’d come to this bakery again to try something else out though.

What a find! Good food, good service, cheap prices, clean establishment.
This place did not disappoint. Their Menudo was AMAZING & their Barbacoa was a delicious deal. We didn’t get to try the baked goods, but customers kept coming in during the 30 minutes we were chowing down to order baked goods, so I’m sure they’re as good as they look.
VERY CHEAP for quality food. I can’t wait to go back & try their other offerings.

Pablito’s is a small restaurant with only five tables making this a difficult place to dine in, but we were fortunate to hit it on a holiday before anyone in the ‘hood was awake. My tasty egg, bacon, cheese and avocado breakfast taco was so fresh and hot it clucked, mooed and oinked at me. Hubby inhaled his two tacos at the same rate of speed to my one, an indication to me that they were excellent.
Service is prompt and efficient and a self serve coffee bar is tucked into a corner. Small red and green Mexican flags hang from the ceiling and patterned tablecloths pump up the décor a notch. Squeeze bottles of red and green sauce sit in the refrigerator case waiting to fire up your tacos and there are Bolillos and assorted Pan Dulce laid out behind glass cases bursting with sugar sprinkles and icing.
On the day we went the special was $ 1.99 for a 2-​item breakfast taco, coffee and one pastry. That’s about the cheapest breakfast I know of other than finding a used donut at Goodwill.

Very good menudo! I like the pan dulce as well.

It took a two year anniversary party to remind me how much I love this place. Breakfast tacos are a relatively new addition to my life (I’ve only been in Texas for 3 years) and now I’m on a never ending hunt to find the very best. These are definitely on the short list.
I approached to the wonderful sounds of a mariachi band playing and a large crowd of people going to town on foods that my taste buds used to be very familiar with. All in all on this day, I consumed 2 breakfast tacos, 3 tamales, a handful of churros, and some of the anniversary cake they’d prepared. The tacos were as great as always, the tamales were the best I’ve had in a long time, and I could die happy eating churros so they’re always welcome. Errol M. was there, as was Dej M. (at long last Dej learned the trick to knowing cheese would be added to your taco: they ask you white or yellow) Two of my favorite Unilocalers, some of my favorite food, amazing conversation, and a whole lot of love.
It’s clear that the family who runs this place is VERY invested in it. You can see it in the care they put into their customer service and most of all you can taste it in the food.

Well, I can’t think of a reason why Pablito’s isn’t as good as it gets: It’s apparently a family affair, a small immaculate shop with two huge glass display cases overflowing with colorful Mexican pastries, and they had the best tostada I’ve ever eaten. I probably should have prefaced this by telling you I know nothing about Mexican pastry or tostadas, but I might start coming here just to take lessons.
This was also the first bacon-​and-​egg breakfast taco I’ve had that was served to me piping-​hot — I’m not talking warm or tepid or slightly feverish, I’m talking «if this is wrong, I don’t want to be right» kind of piping-​hot. What a difference that makes. They also have some kind of verde sauce in a squeeze bottle obviously designed to kick gringo ass, or at least mine, and it did. The taco, tostada, coffee, and a croissant-​like custard-​filled «horn-o’-plenty» thing (cornet?) totaled just under $ 6 — a lot of food for little money.
Finally, I left here thinking a torta vs. bánh mì smackdown would be something I’d pay money to attend, as long as I got to try some of the smacking. Their world of torta is actually the next thing I want to dive into, along with a different Mexican pastry every couple of days or so. Oh, c’mon, we all have to have something to look forward to for the rest of the year.

Humble comes to mind after i walked out of this quaint family bakery! Inexpensive, friendly, delicious and most importantly cleanliness!
I tried the Bacon & Egg breakfast taco and Barbacoa! I loved it and the price was perfect under $ 5.00! Their selection of deserts was wonderful and reasonably priced!
