No toilet paper in the bathrooms. First time for everything, I guess. Probably the dullest, least competitive shopping experience possible. Only saving grace here is USPS drop off service.

I have never once written a Unilocal review. This post is simply to encourage corporate to look into this location. The staff… while possibly new to their system(though over 4 months it’s been the same people moving at a glacial pace and abandoning customers to address other tasks) is basically useless. It should not take calling 5 people from the back of the store over their in-ear system to try and print 8 copies of 1 picture. Let alone this process taking the better half of an hour. The reason it takes the better half of an hour is because the staff attempts to multi-task and help multiple customers at once and ends up making what should be a 5 minute interaction a 30 minute one… because they have to call people from the back to see who knows whats what and how things work. I have been patient and kind with this staff but I deal with them multiple times a month and today they made me late to work due to incompetence and I was written up. I walked in at 7pm looking to print 2 fliers… I left with half of what I needed at 7:50. That was 8 copies of a calendar on card-stock an 25 B&W copies on regular paper of another image. Please GOD someone train the staff there for their sections and fire those who are lethargic and incompetent. You work in the printing department… you should KNOW how the printers work in your department. I don’t think that is asking too much of an employee to know how to work the system in the business they are working for. Again I digress as the training process may be involved but being that I have interacted with the same staff members multiple times over the past few months and they always have to call the older Hispanic gentleman to help them is ridiculous. Even then he is likely the worst at attempting to multi-task and abandoning the customer he is dealing with to help crutch the others, but he is ultimately the most competent.

First to review? Awesome! Went by this Office Depot to search for a birthday gift for my teacher-to-be girlfriend who absolutely LOVES this store! However, we were disappointed to find out that they didn’t have a very wide variety of paper cutters… only one brand! Additionally, the pens she was looking for weren’t there… although every other kind of pen seemed to be. Teachers have some fascination with pens and paper that i’ll never understand. Despite that, the manager was quite friendly and when we asked him a question, he PERSONALLY walked us to the place where we could find what we were looking for. Even though we came close to closing time, he was extremely personable and very available and willing to assist us with our search. Now, with a little research and a little luck, I just might be back here soon to buy a birthday gift! *please have what i’m looking for!*
