History

Established in 2014.

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, educated in hotel management, Abigael honed her organization management skills during 15 years in Zimbabwe’s international hospitality industry. She achieved the rank of hotel manager before she married an Austinite, Craig Wilkinson, living then in Zimbabwe. Together, they returned to Austin and founded Office Cleaner, Austin.

Office Cleaner, Austin is a company home-​grown in the Texas Hill Country, just like the beautiful Barton Springs Pool. Craig’s roots in Austin go back to the 1950’s when the then small city’s population could scarcely fill today’s Darrell Royal-​Texas Memorial Stadium. Office Cleaner, Austin’s sole purpose is to provide consistent, reliable, trustworthy, professional cleaning services to Austin’s small business community.

I sing and play marimba (wooden xylophone) and mbira (thumb piano), traditional Zimbabwean musical instruments, in a women’s band based here in Austin. I love organic gardening and cooking, which i learned as a girl growing up in Africa. I also learned to make effective cleaning products from the simple materials available in our home.
