This was my first time at the restaurant and it wasn’t the best first impression. I arrived wanting to put in an order to go and waited 10 minutes before one of the workers turned around to take my order. Myself, along with the four or five other people waiting watched as the workers had a terrible time communicating and working efficiently. They were slow, all on different pages, and not working together. And the worst part was that they were all right there in front of us to be seen struggle. One of the cooks in the back kept getting frustrated with another cook to the point that she drew attention to herself with her yelling. After I placed my order I waited another 15 minutes before it was ready. I chose to wait until after eating before writing the review in hopes that I could say that the food was well worth the wait. Sorry– but that’s just not the case. Tomato soup was plain and boring and the bread was small. Three stars noodles. I will give you a second chance to try that macaroni and cheese. Until next time!

Just paid $ 8 for a chicken Caesar salad that has a pethetic amount of chicken in it. Like 3 tiny pieces and the rest is croutons and lettuce. Caesar dressing tastes like Kraft. Pretty disappointing

I go to this place because it is convenient and kid friendly, not because I love their food. The food is fine, kind of like Panera Bread but with noodles. Their asian noodle dishes are usually my go to, but today I had the Mediterranean Chicken Salad, and it was pretty good, actually. I didn’t get to actually eat the whole thing there because my two boys were running around like banshees and climbing on everything. But this is the kind of place where people don’t get bent out of shape about that behavior. They have a nice patio area fenced in outside with some tables with awnings and some without. They also have one of those fancy soda machines where you choose from 1 of 150 or so flavor combinations, so my kids are very fond of that. The service is very friendly and the food doesn’t take very long. There is nothing inspiring about the food here, but it’s safe and inoffensive. This location is never crowded, so easy to get in and out of. I really wish they had a legit kids menu though, as it stands you just have to order a small portion of the noodles you want for the kid, but it would be nice if they had a kids portion that came with a side and a drink or something. All in all, I’ll go back when my kids are with me, but when they are not, I will choose to dine elsewhere.

A friend of mine had won a free tasting through their«Business Card Drawing» and we were treated to one of the best experiences I have had at a Noodles & Co! First off, the manager, Ross was absolutely fantastic! Not only was he beyond attentive and accommodating, but he was genuinely invested in the food quality of this particular Noodles & Co. You could tell that he actually cared about what he was serving! He even came up with a concoction of his own that he shared with us, which was delicious! The amount of food and attention to detail that went into this totally free tasting was astounding! Seriously, I did not eat anything for the rest of the day because there was just so much food! We literally tasted everything off the menu! The salad we had to start us off had the most delectable dressing that consisted of plum wine, rice vinegar, and sesame seeds. It was so good I am going to try and make my own at home! We started off with their asian dishes, and though I am well versed with the Japanese Pan Noodles and Pad Thai, I was in love with my discovery of their Bangkok Curry dish! Also, I was so pleasantly surprised with how perfectly cooked and flavored their shrimp was! I will note as well, though the Indonesian dish was a little too spicy for my palate, the tofu that accompanied it was perfection! I loved their margherita flatbread and the pesto cavatappi was another revelation! We even found out they are now serving coffee and carrot cake, which we also got to sample. This was just an all around amazing experience and thanks to Ross and the staff here, this is now my fav location! I will have many happy returns!

Thought this place was great. Way better than most take out /delivery spots in this category. I’d drive out of my way to hit this spot up.

I get it, it’s like a burrito place or mongolian grill where you get exactly what you want. Okay, problem is instead of using quality ingredients they use fast food quality pasta, meats and sauces. I think all the food(asian, american & italian) has the same taste which is somewhat chemical.

My work hubs and I met up here for lunch one day, and in the middle of a major catch-up gossip sesh, a manager stopped in to check on us. Manager: Hi folks, how is your food tasting. Us: Super! Delicious! Thank you! Manager: Hmmm. Okay… Us: !!! Manager: We pride ourselves in timely food delivery, and I don’t know if this came out in a respectable amount of time. Us: Uh… But… ? Manager: Here are coupons for you to come back, on us. Sorry for the inconvenience, thanks for stopping in. Us: Thank you! What why que? Yay! In summary: – Their website lists all the calories right there. – The Med(a Mediterranean chicken sandwich on a flatbread) is delicious. Mushrooms, feta, peppers, fresh cucumbers. Wow. – That sandwich comes with a small side — get the Thai soup. Zomg amazing. Sandwich + soup = $ 6. That is cray-see. – The staff is always awesome. – They have a free rewards club. – They will make substitutions easy-breezy. Spinach for salads(free I think) and gluten-free noodles($ 2 extra). – This parking lot can get stupid during lunch time. I’ve called in orders and quickly zipped in and out via their to-go parking spots(although today I saw a troupe of kids park in one and go next door to Jason’s Deli. get off my lawn, you damn kids). They do an awesome job packing my food and I’ve never had an order mishap. Go. Gossip. Eat.

I just went to Noodles and Company in Westlake for the first time and was very impressed. It was actually my first time to Noodles and Company ever so I was very anxious to see what they are like. For my particular reasons I asked them to do a few ‘special’ things the Pad Thai and they did without a problem. The staff there is very helpful, nice and the interior of the place is very well kept. I strongly recommend Noodles and Company for a lunch or dinner.

I was driving by and found this place on Unilocal.I was not looking for something so sit-down and this was not that at all. It was very fast food like, but a little slower paced. You can order your food at counter and sit down and eat your food while writing a Unilocal review without a waiter asking every 5 minutes if everything was ok. Just what I was looking for. I ordered the japanese pan noodles with chicken. I also added a cup of thai curry soup for $ 1.00 more. The noodles were very flavorful and the soup was ok. I have normally had curry that was thick, this was a little thin and watered down, but good flavor. All in all it was a great relaxing lunch for under $ 12.00

Full disclosure: I got a free meal here a week or so ago as part of a Unilocal promotion. That said, the food was really good and the staff were SO nice. Vegetarians: they can substitute any of the meat dishes with a marinated tofu, which worked really well with the stroganoff and the penne rosa. I freaking loved the stroganoff, which is egg noodles with a rich brown gravy and mushrooms. The tofu was perfect with that sauce. The tomato basil soup tasted like fresh tomatoes. Noodles & Co would be an excellent choice for bringing small kids or for college students because you get a lot of food for the price, they’re open late, and who doesn’t like noodles? The day I went, lots of families were happily hanging out here. The only ding would be that I’d like a little more sauce with my noodles. Otherwise — I will definitely come back!

I’ll be honest, I hadn’t done any looking into noodles & co before arriving so when I did I instantly felt like I was at a Panera Bread. The architecture and layout, everything. I then associated this with my expectations of the food to come. However, as a fast casual restaurant option it blew me away. Noodles & Co. served up happiness in a bowl. On the way in I was greeted with a sign stating, «I’ve fine tuned my order. It’s like a big bowl of me.» Walking out with my leftovers, I surprisingly felt this way. The employees were so friendly and relaxed. Really responsive and able to quickly answer dietary questions and show examples of the different types of noodles and give recommendations. I landed on the Bangkok Curry and my girlfriend opted for the Japanese Pan noodles. I had seen an ad for the natural raised pork here and had to have some on top. It was as advertised. Seared to lock in the flavor, slow cooked to keep it nice and happy. They weren’t joking, it was tasty.

My overall opinion is kind of «meh.» The food is decent, but the whole thing smacks of fast food. We visited on a very cold, wet day so warm noodles definitely sounded good, but I could not see myself ever wanting to go here on a regular Texas summer day. The food was tasty enough(not bland anyway) but very greasy/oily. They get a big kudos for having gluten-free options and actually being knowledgeable enough to advise of any of the sauces had gluten. I know there are not many true gluten-free fast food joints out there so this might be a solid option for that crowd. The dishes are also kind of expensive for what they are. Overall don’t think I’ll be back, but might be better for some.

This was not my first visit to a Noodles and Co., but was my first visit to this location. Unilocal Elites were offered a free meal for you and a guest and knew this location was in Lauren H’s new ‘hood, so coordinated our schedules for a good meal courtesy of Noodles and Co. The staff was welcoming and let us know you can customize dishes any way you want them, which was good for both of our particular eating choices. She had the pad Thai and I had the whole wheat linguine. She added chicken and I added meatballs. The food was delivered to our table efficiently and we both enjoyed it — no leftovers. I also loved their fountain soda machine — so many options, it was like a drink jukebox. We both went for diet root beer(rarely see that as a soda fountain option) and they even had vanilla diet root beer as a secondary option on that screen. The restaurant itself is airy and welcoming… it was too cold to sit outside today, but the manager pointed out they have the largest patio space in the shopping center. Thank you Unilocal and Noodles and Co. for a hearty and pretty healthy lunch!

Stopped in here today and tried the Steak Stroganoff and the Penne Rosa. Both dishes were good for the price point, also… Unilocal was offering a free meal for the Elites, and of course I was in the area to take advantage of that! The Stroganoff dish came out with an adequate amount of steak in the dish and some mushrooms, mmmm mushrooms. some people hate them, others love them. I’m the latter of the two. The regular portion size is definitely filling if you are on the hungry side, It’s a hearty dish for sure. The Penne Rosa had a sauce that I liked a little more than my dish, it was in a spicy tomato cream sauce, granted I did add some Sriracha to my steak plate, but still wasn’t overall as great as the Rosa’s sauce. This place was very clean and the staff was friendly, quick service after sitting down, our plates came to the table about 2 minutes afterwards. If you are near a Noodles and Company and are craving some quick pasta for lunch, they are worth checking out!

looky looky I found yummy noodles right next to my house. They’re cheap and they list the nutrition facts on the website and the bangkok curry made me a really happy girl.

This was my first experience with dinner here. My friends and I picked up dinner to bring home, and had a mixed result. My Thai Curry soup was slightly spicy and very flavorful. The other soup ordered was also good. The disappointment came with the salad ordered by one of us, which was basically a small bowl of mixed greens with a few vegetables — for $ 5. It seemed more like a side salad than a meal, and my friend had to add her own ingredients to fill it out. So while the soups were tasty and the price appropriate, the salad was a big disappointment. Definitely one star taken off for that!

I’ll admit that I had an idea of what I THOUGHT this place would be like. I’d assumed it would be another bland corporate factory food store-front. but we frequent this shopping center and my pre-k son has enjoyed watching the construction. he was so excited the day he saw they were open, we HAD to go in and eat. I’ll I admit my assumptions were wrong. the food seemed to be made from fresh ingredients, made to order, and full of flavor. it was pretty good. the place was clean, and the staff friendly. we had some curry soup and pad thai and fried udon noodles… and a Mediterranean sandwich, everybody enjoyed the food and we passed the plates/bowls around. another high point was the ice/water machine. this location/intersection has not been friendly to restaurants and the place was mostly empty when we ate. they might have a chance if they’d do some promotion to let the people in the neighborhood know they are open. I’d assumed they were still closed, but turns out they’d been open a couple weeks. if it wasn’t for the urging of my 4 yo son, I wouldn’t have made the effort to check it out. I’m glad I did, I’ll be back for more noodles.

I’ve been a Noodle & Company fan for over 10 years. I moved here from Wisconsin two years ago and was thrilled when Noodles started opening up their doors here in Austin. I attended the store opening of this location and man did they have an awesome crew working! The staff was super cheerful, very helpful for those who had not been there before, and although most were new(er) employees, they all felt like experienced veterans. The food was fantastic as always. I really have not had anything from here that I wouldn’t recommend or eat again. Japanese Pan Noodles w/Beef, Pesto Cavatappi, and their Indonesian Peanut Sauté are the go-to options for me! And of course, always get the flat bread!(hint: as soon as you get it, put your butter pad underneath it… warms it up perfectly and lets you know that they have good QC because the butter was refrigerated) I can see this location in particular being very popular both because of it’s proximity to various businesses and the surrounding neighborhoods. But it will be amazingly popular that’s to their huge outdoor patio!(Bonus: There’s usually a Starbucks near by and yet again, they did not disappoint me lol) Also, I’ve never had any trouble finding a place to park here but I haven’t been here during a meal rush hour either so it could be different depending on the time of day. The parking lot is huge too so it shouldn’t be a problem. All-in-all, I love Noodles & Co. and this location held up to the food I’ve grown to know and love and surpassed my expectations in their delivery, presentation, speed and atmosphere. 5-Stars for me!

It was sad to see Chinatown close after all those years but Noodles & Co. opened up today in the shopping center at Bee Caves and Walsh Tarleton by the Jason’s Deli and Starbucks. The space had a complete makeover and looks NOTHING like the old Chinatown. It’s open, airy, with a lot of seating, both inside and out on the patio. The menu is pretty broad with a lot of choices including some Gluten-free options. I had the Chicken Pad Thai for lunch and it was reasonably priced and decent. It’s a strange mix between fast food and family sit-down but if you are comfortable with Jason’s Deli or La Madeline’s style and ordering setup you’ll be happy with this. Hope that this one makes it. West Lake Hills is tough on restaurants!
