Nine Design Group

I have been planning a home remodel for a couple of years and new I needed help with putting it all together. I had met with another designer but when it came time to start my process I realized I was not happy with the interaction with the other designer so I researched online and found Nine Design Group. I met with Jill and immediately liked her and felt she new what I wanted and could help me through the process. The first time we met to «shop» for various items, I knew I had made the right decision when we both picked the same floor tile during separate shopping trips.
We are 99% complete with remodeling and redesigning and I am so thankful Jill was there to help me with an enormous amount of decisions. Many times I told Jill to pick something for me because I trusted her so much. At times I wasn’t sure I liked things and we made a few changes but usually once things were put together I could see the vision that she had to make my home what I asked her to help me do. She always responds promptly and would notice things about the remodel that I had missed.
Unfortunately I had difficulties with my contractor and Jill helped with the communication problems to keep things on track as much as possible.

I hired Kelli to do interior decorating choices and selections for a house in Ohio that I was remodeling, and told her it was in a traditional neighborhood, so it should be designed with that in mind. I explained to her that the goal was to make it appealing to a high end, mass audience, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! She picked out every single item in the house for me to purchase, and emailed it all in a great spreadsheet that I must have checked 100 times over the course of the remodel. She did all of this without ever setting foot inside the house, all from pictures.
The paint colors were great, the fixtures were great, everything was amazing. When I put the house on the market, every person who went through the house said it looked amazing. It sold the very first day to people who said it was their «forever home» because it looked so beautiful.
I’ve now decided to hire her to pick items for another house in the Austin area because I was so happy with how the previous one went. I can’t recommend Kelli enough, and she will continue to be my go to choice for a designer.

Jill is awesome! She promptly responds to email, we met for an initial consult and she pegged my style in about 2 minutes! She has great vision and wonderfully practical suggestions. She is very cognizant of our budget and our goals. I was pretty nervous about spending big bucks and not being happy with the results. I am now so excited to transform our home with her guidance! Jill, thanks for making this fun!

We have been remodeling our downstairs in our NW Austin home for the past two months. My only regret is that I did not come across Jill sooner!
I was frustrated picking paint colors, had way too many paint samples, and she immediately new exactly the paint color for our new kitchen/​family/​dining room! And I’m picky! She even return my original call on a Sunday night, noting the desperation in my voice:-(! She was here today!

Time to update Nine Design. My first review was from someone who observed what Nine Design did for other clients. Now, I’m thrilled to announce that I am a client. Once my wife and I purchased a new home in NW Austin we knew we were going to need help. We wanted our new home to reflect our style. The problem is that sometimes you have good taste but struggle to put it all together. I called Jill and she sent us Kelli Presses, a member of the Nine Design team. She is fantastic!
Kelli arrived at our new home, took a tour, and immediately started listening to our thoughts regarding our aesthetic. The first thing Kelli did was help us rearrange our furniture in our living room. We spend most of our time in this room and she nailed it. Over the course of a few weeks Kelli helped us transform our entire house. From room layout to paint color to window treatments to accessorizing. My favorite thing about Kelli, besides her gift of design, was that she understood our budget and never pushed us to spend money unnecessarily. As a matter of fact, there were a few times she offered «do it yourself» ways of saving money for the same result/​impact.
We’re now in the final stages and our house looks amazing. We love to entertain and our friends and neighbors are blown away by the transformation. We give Kelli and Nine Design all the credit.

We were thrilled to have Kelli help us rethink our front room when baby came along. She took into account how we wanted to use the room and incorporate the space into our daily living, and offered insights based on what she found essential in her experience with her own children. I was impressed that she was able to stay within our budget and use pieces that we already had in a different way. And while I had «tunnel vision» and had only one room in mind, Kelli saw the big picture and was able to make suggestions to tie in the whole house. All of her ideas were practical and cost effective. I would highly recommend her services to anyone.

Jill at Nine Design is outstanding! I first met Jill at a local networking event and to hear her talk about her vision and attention to the customer’s needs is impressive. So many other designers try to get in and out without taking the time to understand what the customer wants. There is a special patience one needs to work with home owners and Jill has it!
