Active Release Technique– ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/​movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.

If you have new injury or old ongoing chronic pain and actually want to get better this is the place to come. If you’re the type of person who wants a chiropractor that listens, genuinely cares and wants you to get better, that uses innovative and effective techniques, and is just a cool dude period, this is the place to come. If you’re the type of person that wants easy office billing, easy appointment scheduling, and a friendly front office staff to work with, this is the place to come. If you also want a positive healing environment and clean atmosphere, this is the place for you.
Dr. Sneed and co. are as good as they come and I mean it when I saw they really care about doing all they can to get you out of pain. Having suffered through much chronic pain over the years I’ve seen my fair share of «experts» and found little to no relief. The progress I’ve made here is noticeable and I’m grateful for it.

I will give 5 stars when I am completely healed :-) …this place saved my butt and lower back (after being dismissed by a doctor at Westlake Orthopedics). Dr. Mike understands fitness, movement and how your body should work together. and what is causing the problem (s). Love the knowledge and hands on approach to adjusting the issues without needles and knives. I’ll take a lacrosse ball any day. LOL.

I like to joke that Next Level is for elite athletes, cross-​fitters, and me. I have had nagging back issues for 2 decades. I also had an elbow/​nerve issue that seriously affected my golf game. A cross-​fit buddy said I needed to try Sam Sneed and crew out. I went in expecting basic chiropractic. I left with an entirely new appreciation of healing.
The guys there are friendly, professional and constantly learning new techniques. While fixing my elbow Sam said, «I need to work on that hip!» It was a problem I didn’t even know I had, I figured I was just getting old. The thing about them is their techniques are designed to jump start your healing with a dose of self PT (which they teach you in house) to continue to heal yourself. The experience is designed to heal, you will not fall asleep on the table with zen music in the back ground and lavender scents. You’ll get worked over, you may drop an f-​bomb, and they may even call in re-​enforcements to really get where they need to get. But if you are in pain, and you want to perform, this is where you go to get better. I will never trust anyone else with my injuries.

You’ve just won… A BRAND NEW BACK!!!
That’s literally what it feels like after my 3rd session with Dr. Steven Reinlie. This is definitely not your typical Chiropractic experience. In fact my back adjustment generally takes about 20 seconds of the 30 minute to an hour appointment.
These guys are not focused on treating symptoms to create a customer for life scenario. They do a great deal of observation to identify the problem, and then focus on a regimen of stretching, exercises, and adjustment to address the underlying condition.
If you are afraid to try chiropractic treatment, this is a great place to give it a try. Dr. Reinlie is incredibly personable and has a great benchside manner, and even though some of the stretches are «challenging» I’ve gotten to where I look forward to it, because I know what’s waiting on the other side of it.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles and positivity, and Dr. Reinlie’s staff (Emily and Alex) are an absolute pleasure.
Next Level, Steven, Emily, & Alex have definitely earned every bit of a 5 star rating.

My Do Yoga Every Day initiative turned into Downward-​Dog Yourself Into Crippling Pain really quickly. I tried massages and heat, but nothing helped me sleep through the night due to my stabbing shoulder pain. One of my coworkers suggested a chiropractor, for which I was inherently dubious. I wasn’t trying to stay in for the long-​term — I wanted a PT-​style rehab that was going to get me back on my mat sooner than later. I looked at my insurance and cross-​referenced it with Unilocal and Next Level came up with screaming good reviews.
Speaking of, you might do a little screaming while you’re here. It’s all in the name of recovery and health, though. First you get some adjustments and neckwork, then you move out to the exercise facility where you work your way through seemingly miniscule but grueling exercises to get yourself better. In my case, my posture has improved 500%. Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but I’m sleeping through the night now which is the first I’ve been pain-​free in months. Tips on getting better quicker? Trust the experts and do your homework religiously.

My sole purpose: to run again. It’s the only reason I came here. I didn’t expect to get diagnosed, but that’s the first thing Dr. Steven Reinlie wanted to figure out: how I managed to get plantar fasciitis. I’d been two other places for my pf since boycotting running two months prior, neither of which addressed the issue of why.
But, the why issue was Dr. Reinlie’s first priority. It didn’t take him long to figure out that my right leg (problem foot) was half as flexible and rotatable as my left leg. Dr. Reinlie made sure I understood how my body worked, and why I (probably) ended up with a bum foot.
Now, I go twice a week (till mended) for Dr. R to hammer (not really) into my foot (note to self: stretch more next time I’m marathon training). Ryan, a degree in Kinesiology, shows me my homework (exercises I must do if I want to run again). Liz (ultrasound) and Emily (front desk) are happy faces at 7 am. Epoch coffee, just outside the front door, is perfect for a cup of joe when I’m done.

These guys are amazing. They are very effective with their treatments and don’t just fix you and leave you. You get all the information and exercises you need to correct imbalances, mobility and stability issues. They look at the body as a whole instead of individual components and figure out why you are having pain instead of just treating the symptom.
Every single person working there is incredibly friendly. They know you by name, ask how you’re doing and treat everyone professionally and friendly. They’re on time, and get you out of pain very quickly.
I own a gym here in Austin and plan on referring any client or friend to them that need it. To anyone looking for a chiropractor or rehab specialist, look no further. These are your guys.

The gang at Next Level are all wonderful and they all seem to really know their stuff. I highly recommend Dr. Dave Yancy. He explains everything he’s doing step by step and breaks it down for you scientifically while using state of the art techniques to get you feelin’ good… Be sure to ask about «the scraper»!

Only disappointing thing about NL is that they fixed my problems so quickly, I need to come up with an excuse to go in just to catch up with the crew! Maybe I should fake an injury? The team is great.
I’m a yoga teacher & after a couple years of getting massage to alleviate the injuries that come with advanced practice, I decided to try something different. They were recommended to me by a student who was a triathlon enthusiast. My shoulder pain was gone in 2−3weeks with regular visits and daily ‘exercises’ they prescribed. I’ve referred many other students to them, at least 3 have gone & all have had great results too. In my experience Next Level is a great compliment to many physical practices…

As a competitive CrossFitter, my motto this year has been to «win everything.» When a painful knee tracking problem developed, I went straight to Next Level to get it taken care of before competition season. My knee has continued to feel better and better. My best marks in the squats have continued to improve and I have gotten 1st place in all three events I have competed in so far.
Sam and Dave and Stephen are not just great body workers, but they are fun people! I have been a patient of Next Level Chiro and Rehab for over a year, I go once a week for maintenance purposes and sometimes twice a week if I’ve tweaked something. Their office staff is very professional and personable.
Sam has also put me through the Functional Movement Screening to identify areas that might be weak and/​or prone to injury or immobility. I feel confident in their care and even when I’m only practicing rolling over, or bird dogs, I know that their treatment and rehab homework has a purpose to improve my physical performance.
They do much more in their body work than joint adjustment. They use ART and the Graston technique as well.

I’ve been to a chiropractor and physical therapy separately in the past with minimal results. These guys really know what they’re doing. Sam pinpointed some issues I was having that I wasn’t even aware of (favoring one hip and compensating for muscle weakness). I’m finally seeing some progress on a very old back and shoulder injury. Even though physical therapy can be a bit uncomfortable, these guys are so charming and fun you won’t notice.

These guys are awesome! I’ve had a hip injury from collegiate Rugby (4 years old) they were able to diagnose quickly with a relative rehab plan that worked. I’ve seen every kind of sports medical expert… all stumped, and these guys got it dialed in no time.
Second injury was from Olympic power lifting, a tweak in my wrist. I won’t say its been «fun» getting it worked on, but every time I leave it feels a little bit better and keeps improving.

Wonderful people, insightful, young, healthy-​lifestyle oriented. There are a lot of more elite-​level competitive athletes who get treated hear and train at Cross Fit. Dr. Sam Snead and Dave use ART, or Active Release Technology, where they stimulate and stretch the muscles that connect to the bone, rather than «cracking» or «popping» or «manipulating» the body. They understand that the muscle connects to the bone, so to solve the problem it’s better and more healthy to treat the muscle. I am glad that I found this place: it’s in a good area and close to my house, and the doctors are all interesting and share active lifestyles like myself. None of those old and boring doctors here!
